Cheesy, quick, fun read that would be a great beach read or lazy weekend. I did struggle to connect to the characters a little bit, but I am always a fan of enemies-to-lovers tropes.
DNF.
I was wondering why something felt off and then after reading reviews, I noticed that this is a spin-off from a different series.
I’m not sure how I feel about this one still. I liked it while I was reading it but I found it very forgettable. I did really like the characters and the story line.
The book was cute but it was one of those that I could take it or leave it to be honest. It felt a little familiar and by the end I just wanted to finish it so I could read something else.
Thank you for the opportunity to read this book.
The title grabbed me immediately but I struggled to get in to the story of My Best Friend's Royal Wedding. Khara is maid of honour at her friend's wedding to a prince. Add in the usual hot best man and the story was a little bit predictable. I struggled to engage with the characters and was disappointed that I didn;t love this.
Thank you NetGalley.
Cute, fun read. Enjoyable but I have come to realize that rom coms are not my jam. Still, this was light and fast paced! Read it if you love romance.
Super cute book that went by to quickly. I loved the main characters! They made the story come alive and it was perfect.
I really wanted to love this book but unfortunately something was missing for me. Found it difficult to connect with the book although overall enjoyable storyline.
I really wanted to love this book! The premise was there, but the execution fell flat for me.
Adam was a little more well-rounded than Khara, who I couldn't tell you anything about outside of the fact she hates rich people and is a waitress. I seriously don't know any other aspect of her personality. The story also had minimal conflict or anything pulling it forward. There were a few enjoyable scenes, but that's what this book read like; a few scenes all tied together rather than telling a story. Even the side characters were lacking any depth. I'm sorry to say it, but this felt like reading a bad Hallmark movie.
As much as I love the premise of this book, it just didn't live up to my expectations. The setting was fabulous, and the idea of a royal wedding is fabulous, but the characters just didn't pop, which left me lacking a connection.
I recieved a free copy from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
I think I am in a book slump because nothing has been really captivating me.
This book was unfortunately a DNF for me.
I just didn't like the leads and I even read the last 4 chapters to see if the ending would inspire me to read the whole thing and nope.
I found everyone annoying, and the whole thing was just so unrealistic and unbelievable. Chemistry was limited. Adam was a rude snob and there was nothing good about him. Khara was just pathetic.
He has to be condescending and she’s like 'oh my god' you’re totally awesome and royal. I was skimming this book most of the time before DNFing
I received a complimentary copy. I voluntarily reviewed this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

REVIEW ☆☆☆☆
Anytime I hear romcom and royalty I'm interested, so My Best Friend's Royal Wedding is an ideal choice for me. As expected, this story is a lighthearted and warm bit of fun. The premise is not unique, but that doesn't really matter to me. This is just an escapist read that I enjoyed. An excellent choice for an easy read that is truly delightful and charming!
This book was like reading a romantic comedy movie. It was so much fun. From start to finish I was engrossed in what would happen.
I was so excited when I saw this one up for request on Netgalley - I mean, what girl doesn't love hate to love with a dash of royalty?
Unfortunately, I was devastated by the characterisation of the main character, Khara. I just didn't find her to be likeable, and the book wasn't nearly as fun and fluffy as I had been led to believe and this had me DNFing this one.
This had a very interesting premise but not only is it part of a series which I didn't know but it just felt a bit too unrealistic for me. The writing was good but I personally wasn't at all invested in the story sadly.
Unfortunately I was unable to get in to this story and had to put it down, however, I'm sure it is a highly loved book and appreciated by the right readers.
Unfortunately I could not get into this book. It felt like a cookie cutter book to me- nothing original or unique. I'm sure there are plenty of people who will enjoy this book. Therefore, I will not be posting a review on Goodreads. Best of luck!
This was a fun quick read. Everybody likes a royal wedding. This book plays off of that with a story that is definitely Hallmark-inspired. If you enjoy romances and royal weddings, you should definitely check this one out!
This is an easy, lighthearted, feel good romantic story. It's a classic opposites attract story. Though the characters were initially hard to connect with by the end I was happy I had the opportunity to read Khara and Adam's story. This is a continuation of Pheonix and Max's story from "Waking Up in Vegas" but can definitely be read as a stand alone book. I recommend this book if you like Hallmark movies and feel good rom-coms.
I am grateful to Netgalley and the publishers for the opportunity to read an ARC of this book in exchange for a honest review.
