I was intrigued when I heard about THE ULTIMATE AGE-DEFYING PLAN by Mark Reinfeld and Ashley Boudet. They use roughly a third of the book to discuss a number of relevant issues: slowing cognitive decline, better bones, protecting heart and kidneys, etc. This section references extensive footnotes. The subtitle is “The Plant-Based Way to Stay Mentally Sharp and Physically Fit” and I was looking forward to seeing many of the recipes which constitute the remainder of the book. Unfortunately, I had not downloaded the text prior to access being restricted. I will therefore give it an overall neutral rating of three stars.
I am so happy I got this book. I always look for new recipes to stay healthy. Mark Reinfeld and Ashley Boudet gives us very detailed explanation of how food is a big part of our life and how affects aging and vitality. We can stay young longer if we eliminate the animal products. All the recipes are vegetarian and loaded with vitamins and minerals. In the book we can also find advices how to fight the most common conditions like heart failure, depression or kidney disease. I recommend this book to everyone who wants to live healthy and stay young for much longer.
