Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

I was a bit confused with this novel. It starts out with a wedding that happens four years ago and it switches to present day but the author bombards us with so many characters it's hard to figure out what's going on.i felt like there were holes in the story. Disappointed.

A well written romance. Good plot, character development and writing. Now I have to read the first book. Fans of romance will enjoy this book.

An unusual mystery and romance all in one. A great book for the beach. The characters seem real and are likable. The plot has enough twists and turns to keep you wondering.

Really excellent read. I didn’t realize this book was second in a series. Now I have to read the first! This could also be a stand alone novel

This is an easy read that had me thinking throughout the story. How much do you tell when you want to protect the people you love, even if it means suffering yourself? Holly has been with Justin since they were little; her best friend and lover. When she leaves town he has no idea what happened but is determined to wait for her. Holly learns that true friends will listen to you and support you at all cost. Great characters, good story line with humor thrown in for good measure.

This was a quick and easy read. In my opinion, too much was squashed into the length of a novella. Nothing was fully fleshed our or developed.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for a complimentary e-ARC of this title. All comments/opinions are my own.

This is the story of two people who love each other alot., Hollya nd Justin but a car accident 4 years before tore them apart. Now Holly lives at her vacation house and Justin lives in their hometown. Until one of his friends has a bachelor party and is getting married.

Meanwhile Holly's friend is getting married and wants her to be a bridesmaid but she is fearful of seeing Justin again. Only Holly's brother knows they wed 4 years before. That is until they see each other again and he blurts out they are married.

This is a story of confronting a very painful past and moving forward with th e one you love. Holly has some bg secrets and she has to trust Justin with them. I enjoyedthe story I just didn't really connect with Holly. 4 uyears is a very long time to run away from home.

A River Between Us is the second book in the Riverview series but it can easily be read as a stand alone. This story was a quick read but it definitely did not lack emotions. I loved this story about Holly and Justin and will definitely be reading more of this series! Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this free ARC.

Apparently, Holly and Justin were secretly married four years ago but before they were able to tell most people, tragedy struck and Holly withdrew from Justin and the rest of her friends and family. She left town, distanced herself from everyone and has kept her secrets to herself. Justin has waited for her to return to him but seeing her on a date with another man has him questioning himself. He believes it may be time to give her a divorce so they can both move on.

A River Between Us is a quick read but it really does pack an emotional punch! It's the second in a series but is easily read as a standalone. That said, I really enjoyed all of the characters and fully intend to read not only the first book but subsequent books as well.
