I didn't use to think I was easily distracted. Then I had kids. And started homeschooling. And working from home. Then my husband started working from home. Now I feel like I can't finish a thought, let alone a sentence. So many things pulling my attention in a million different directions!
There isn't anything earth-shatteringly profound in this book. However, it is full of practical strategies for choosing one's focus, which in turn, improves one's productivity. I've been able to gain ground here that I thought I would never see again. It's a cute book with pops of color to help certain ideas stand out in your brain. It's a quick read, which is good because I don't have a lot of time. Overall, very helpful!

A short read, the first half is why this book is so important, the second half actionable techniques to focus your attention on where you want it.
I liked the organization, but nothing here is new. A good collection on focus and managing yourself, and if you haven't read in this circle yet I would recommend "Attention Management" as a great place to start.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you NetGalley.
This book was short but informative. Just what I needed for ideas!
This is quite a short but interesting book. Very relevant for today in our digitally driven world. I agree that the old established time management methods are no longer as effective, and another level of awareness is needed. The book covers everything at a high level and if you are interested in any of the methods such as mindfulness you will need to do your own research outside the book. It is a book that talks about attention but also brings your attention to the way we live our lives today. Great food for thought with some really good pointers, and refreshingly not padded out with waffle. Straight to the point with lots of interesting photographs. A book that would be relevant to nearly everyone today.
