I liked the premise of this novella. People thought Lord Atwood would never marry, until he meets the young and vivacious Imogen. They marry and it is apparent to Imogen and the ton that Lord Atwood is totally and completely in love with his new wife. Their connection is definitely demonstrated during their private time away from others and in the bedroom. A wrench is thrown in this perfect marriage when Lord Atwood's friend and former lover comes back to town. Imogen meets Alexander innocently enough and invites him to dinner and inadvertently back into her husband's life. I don't want to give away any spoilers, so others will read this for themselves. I did wish this story was longer, but it is a Spice brief. I would recommend this one to fans of historical erotic romance fans who are looking to try a new author. I look forward to reading more from this author, especially a full length novel.
