I have read most of Lynette Eason's books over the years, and this one does not disappoint. She has her own level of heart pumping, gut wrenching plots that I have grown to love. Vow of Justice is light on romance, light on Christianity and heavy on suspense. I read it though in one evening after the kids went to bed.

The series is called Blue Justice and each book follows a member of the St. John family. In Vow of Justice, Linc St. John gets his own story. Linc works for the FBI along with his partner, Allison. After an operation goes bad and Allison is killed, Linc isn't sure what to do next. But when Allison turns up alive, he feels betrayed and hurt. But someone is determined to kill him and Allison, so they must work together to solve the mystery before that someone succeeds.

I don't want to give away any more of the plot because I know you will enjoy reading Vow of Justice yourself. This book is fine as a read alone novel, or read the previous books to further enjoy the St. John family.

FBI Special Agent Lincoln St. John is living his own personal nightmare. When the woman he loves, Allison Radcliffe, is killed, he devotes his life to tracking down the killers and making them pay for their crimes. He expected it to be a challenge. What he never expected was to find Allison very much alive shortly after her "murder." As his anger and hurt mix with relief, Linc isn't sure how he's supposed to feel. One thing he does know for sure: he and Allison will have to work together to stop a killer before she dies a second time--this time for good.

Another great book by Ms. Eason. This is the fourth book in the Vow of Justice series. It can be read alone. The first three books are about the other St. John siblings and also great books.

When Linc finds out that Allison is still alive he doesn't know who to be mad at. Allison or their supervisor for leading him to believe she's dead. As the story progresses, there are several attempts made on Linc's life. He has to find out who wants him dead as well as who caused the explosion on the boat that nearly killed them when the book started. This is a great mystery all the way and I highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed this latest installment in the St. John family. Linc and Allie were great partners and of course seeing old friends from previous books was great too.

Normally I'm all about the romance in a book, but I wasn't crazy about a romantic relationship between FBI partners. But that being said, aside from the work implications I liked their story. And I like that the romance wasn't the main part of the book.

As far as the suspense goes I loved this book. There were some twists and turns I didn't see coming! I did figure out who the bad guy was and another big part of the story, but there were plenty of details that kept me intrigued. In some ways this book reminded me of one of my all time favorite TV shows, Alias!

I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley. This is my honest review.

What an exciting conclusion to a fantastic series! I've loved the time I've spent with the St. John family. There's been so much suspense, so many adventures, and heart-racing moments. I've enjoyed every minute of it and am sad to say goodbye. Though I hear there's a novella featuring Derek coming soon, so I still have that to look forward to.

Vow of Justice is finally Linc's time in the spotlight. Allison, the woman he loved and thought dead is actually very much alive. He feels slightly betrayed at not being let in on the secret, but he sets his frustration aside to work with Allie to stop a ruthless killer before she dies for real this time.

Never a dull moment, Vow of Justice was an anxiety-inducing thrill ride that kept me thoroughly entertained and gasping for breath from beginning to end. I had my suspicions about a couple of things pretty early on, but wasn't 100% sure until the reveal. This was one of my favorite books from Eason. And though it's book four, it stands alone just fine. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys romantic suspense.

Wow! This book cements why Lynette Eason is one of my all-time favorite authors. She does everything well. She has great characters. The suspense and action are amazing. The romance is believable. There are twists and turns in the plot. It’s a great read.

The opening scene gets off to an intense start and you know things aren’t going to get better for a very long time. It’s hard to imagine a resolution that doesn’t get a lot of people killed.

The St. John family is a lot like the family on the tv show “Blue Bloods.” I like how the family helps each other out and that they’re all a part of things. I’d like to get in on a game of Phase Ten with them. HA

You can’t go wrong with this book or this series. I’d highly recommend them. Thank you to Revell for providing me with a free e-copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

FBI agent Allison Radcliffe has vowed to find the man who killed her family and left her for dead. She is undercover working to find evidence against the man who ordered the murders. When a bomb almost kills her she goes along with her boss's request to let it appear that she is dead. The man who is her partner, FBI special agent Linc St. John, is told she didn't survive the explosion. How can he go on without his partner and the woman he has come to love? When Linc finds out that it was just a ploy to draw out the killer, he feels betrayed once again by a woman he had come to care for. Everywhere they turn it seems the killer knows their every step. How is he finding them and will they manage to catch him before one of them ends up dead for real?

This is book 4 in the Blue Justice series and I have to say it is by far my favorite! I love Linc and Allie! They had a few hurdles in their relationship. Linc had a bad relationship before Allie and Allie has her past to contend with. I love what a strong character Allie is! That woman can take pain and can kick butt! I also liked her honesty with herself about her spiritual walk. Being a believer, but struggling with feeling that God wasn't hearing her. The book was exciting in that there was a lot of danger and things kept happening. There were a couple of twists that kept things exciting as well. It was fun to catch up with the St. John family and I look forward to reading about Derek St. John in the next Blue Justice book!

FBI Agent Linc St. John and his partner, Allison Radcliffe, are pursuing a crime boss. Allie goes undercover and makes valuable connections, when something goes horribly wrong, and now Allie has a target on her back. Will they be able to bring down the kingpin before it's too late?

Suspenseful and fraught with unexpected twists and turns, non-stop action and a complex, but easy to follow plot. I love the St. John Clan and how they come together for one of their own.

Allie is personally invested in this case in particular, because it brings up secrets from her past, and the man they are after is the one who killed her father. Allie is intuitive and incredibly loyal, but bent on vengeance.

Linc has loved Allie for a long time, but she has made it clear that she wants to stay friends. He is dedicated to his job, and he has a strong faith and relationship with his family. I admired his courage and faith, living his beliefs is very important to him.

Overall, a pulsing, heart-pounding read, engaging with non-stop action throughout. I liked the themes of the difference between vengeance and justice, as well as revisiting the St. John family. I'm a huge fan of Ms. Eason, but this one is a stand out for sure! Suspenseful, romantic, full of faith, and impossible to put down, with heroes that you can cheer for from the start.

Once again, Lynette Eason delivered an intriguing book!
I feel like in each book we don't get much to know outside of the family dynamics the siblings who aren't the MC, though this does help with the suspense over said sibling's book. Needless to say, I've been super excited to finally read older brother Linc's book!

Linc and his co-worker Allison have surely though somehow hesitantly been building a relationship going beyond work. And the hesitancy isn't so much because of doubts regarding their own feelings or complication it can bring to their work, but Allison's personal history that makes her guard her heart.

Nevertheless, it is this same history that taught Allison to love well and fight for justice. It has made her who she is, the Allison Linc is falling in love with.

No need to say the action is thrilling, but it's the character development through which the theme of forgiveness was worked through that tugged at my heart. I'm sorry to see this series end but so excited for what Eason will bring next!

Admittedly, I was rather sad to see this series end, but I couldn't have asked for a better finale!

Vow of Justice is a wild ride from page one. The action starts there and doesn't stop until the epilogue. With many twists and turns, my adrenaline was almost constantly racing. Eason explores a variety of themes, including forgiveness and trusting God. Linc St. John and Allie Radcliffe are both very realistic characters, and, after seeing Linc featured in the previous three books, I was excited to finally read his story.

All in all, Vow of Justice is an explosive finale to the Blue Justice series! I highly recommend it to lovers of good suspense with a touch of romance.

Vow of Justice by Lynette Eason is another example of why Eason is at the top of her game when it comes to writing suspense. I know she creates in the romantic suspense genre, but I think she is leans more heavily on the suspense side, which I LOVE. I love returning to the St. John's family. The family dynamic reminds me of the television show, Blue Bloods, which I adore. In Vow of Justice, Linc finally receives his moment to shine and tell his story. The romance between Allison and Linc moves normally, but readers have seen their relationship if they read the other three books in the series, so it shouldn't be so much of a surprise. The plot was definitely a tension filled and non-stop action. I had a really hard time putting the book down. I wanted the keep flipping pages. Who needs sleep anyways? Eason is a master at making her characters squirm and wiggle on the end of the rope. Fans of suspense should definitely pick this book up and add it to their collection.

When his partner Allie's cover gets blown, Linc St. John must put a hold on his romantic feelings for her and pull out all the stops to save her from a Russian crime boss. As the attempts on both of their lives intensify, Linc finds out that Allie's past life is far more harrowing than he knew. It seems that she knows her assignment personally, and the question is: is she out for revenge or justice?

This fourth book of the Blue Justice series was filled with non-stop action. The twist at the end was fairly predictable, but that didn't lessen the enjoyment. The Christian themes were woven deftly into the story, and I must say that it's pleasant being able to read a "clean" thriller with no swearing and sex that still has heart-pounding suspense. While the previous book about Linc's older brother Brady St. John was a good read, I think this one was even better.

"Vow of Justice" is a Christian romantic suspense. It's the fourth book in a series, but it works as a stand alone. It doesn't spoil the previous books. The main characters acted realistically and were likable. They were kind, resourceful, and never gave up. The mystery was interesting, though strong hints foreshadowed the twists so that they weren't really a surprise. I presume this was to build the suspense: we could see the lurking danger to certain characters but it took them some time to see what was going on. They were constantly sneaking into dangerous spots, leading rescues, and confronting killers. I also really loved the criminal's teenage daughter: smart and resourceful. There was no sex or bad language. Overall, I'd recommend this exciting story.

"At the door, he stood to the side, then kicked it in. And came face-to-face with a dead woman."

Vow of Justice, the highly anticipated conclusion to award-winning author Lynette Eason’s Blue Justice series, is a fast-paced romantic suspense novel filled with danger, incredible plot twists, the perfect amount of romance, and of course, those handsome St. John brothers. Lynette Eason is favorite must-read author of many romantic suspense fans, and she does not disappoint in her latest novel.

Vow of Justice can easily be read as a stand-alone novel, but readers will definitely want to read the entire series after falling in love with the heartwarming and beloved St. John family. Each of the siblings have their own story told in previous books in the series. Five of the six St. John siblings are involved in law enforcement, and their mother is the chief of police. The family dynamic between the six St. John siblings and their parents is much like the Reagan family in the TV show Blue Bloods, but Lynette Eason’s Blue Justice series is even better than Blue Bloods!

FBI Special Agent Linc St. John finds himself in extreme danger after the alleged death of his partner Allison Radcliffe. Her undercover assignment for the FBI places her in close quarters with an extremely dangerous and powerful head of the Russian mafia. Secrets from Allie’s past continue to haunt her as she seeks justice for her family after unspeakable crimes were committed against them 15 years ago. Sparks continue to fly between Allie and Linc as their desire to catch a killer puts their own lives in jeopardy, while Allie’s past and present collide in this explosive conclusion to the Blue Justice series.

Lynette Eason seamlessly weaves the characters’ faith into the novel as Allie and Linc’s belief in God remains constant even when they question why He would let bad things happen to good people. The powerful message from a youth camp speaker that Allie recalls from her teenage years stayed with her all these years: “God didn’t promise everything would be perfect, but he did promise that we’d never be alone and God would never give up on us.”

Vow of Justice is highly recommended for readers of romantic suspense, especially those who enjoy books by authors such as Dani Pettrey, Lynn H. Blackburn, Rachel Dylan, Natalie Walters, and Elizabeth Goddard, and fans of the TV show Blue Bloods. Even though the Blue Justice series is regrettably coming to an end, fans of the St. John sibling Derek will rejoice in the following news…. Derek St. John will get his story told in Lynette Eason’s upcoming novella, Lethal Agenda, which is included in her romantic suspense novella collection, Protecting Tanner Hollow, releasing in November 2019.

Additional Quotes:

"Uh-oh?” Sitting in the command van a short distance from the estate, Linc felt his heart take a nosedive. “Allie, there’s no ‘uh-oh’ in undercover work.”

“Do we have a plan?” Allie murmured.
“To not get killed.”
“I’m good with that.”

"She missed him. Missed sharing laughter, movies, and pizza nights. Missed their in-depth conversations about faith and God. He always made her think. But . . . she had to do what she was meant to do. Take down Nevsky and find the one who’d murdered her family."
