Good solid suspense mystery. Not one of the great ones, but certainly makes for good reading. Gets to be a bit wordy at times, but nevertheless I enjoyed it.

WOW! What a twisty thriller!

The story is told by two characters: Nicky and Isabel. Somehow, they are both intertwined by an actor, Iain It is obvious that Isabel is quite straightforward and in love with Iain; and we believe he feels the same about her. She moves into his house and they begin a tenuous life together. He is an actor, travels a lot and has many fans. Isabel is a swim instructor. They had met when he was taking swim lessons where Isabel works.

Their lives are quite different and their relationship is shaky at times. Yet they seem to survive...

Nicky is obsessed with Iain. Had they been married? Had they even ever been together? It is obvious that Nicky is on a path to destroy Iain and Isabel's happiness.

Isabel begins receiving threatening mail and a doll that is damaged. The police cannot do much. This harassment stops after Isabel is fired due to a horrid e-mail post about her.

There are a lot of surprises in store for the reader. Characters appear and we are not sure who they are but somehow they fit in. This only heightens the suspense. A superb story that is a MUST READ!

Many Thanks to Quercus Books and NetGalley for a brilliant read!

Just Like You by Alison Percival is a taut psychological thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. A delicious sense of uneasiness settles in and refuses to be shaken. This one will give you chills.

Told from the alternating perspectives of Isabel and Nicky, we meet two very different women who are connected by the same man, Iain Stewart. Isabel is in love with Iain, but is frustrated by the unwanted and negative attention she is receiving as a byproduct of Iain's recognizability as an actor of some repute. Nicky is obsessed with Iain, and fixates on the unsuspecting Isabel with escalating intensity.

This is a dark tale of jealousy, obsession, and the potentially evil capacity and reach of social media. I devoured this novel and continue to feel a little unsettled after turning the final page, always the sign of an effective thriller in my book. Highly recommended, this is an author to watch.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Quercus Books for this exciting ARC.

I received an advanced readers copy in exchange for an honest review

Just meh. None of the characters are likeable or make sense, the narrative and the mystery do not really engage, I was glad to put it down.
