What first appealed to me about this book was the cover. As a former Scottish (highland) dancer I loved the fling on the cover. That said, this book was nothing like I thought it would be, but it was still a really cute and underrated romance novel

This one just didn’t capture me like the last. Cat and her family were interesting enough, but it just didn’t grab me. I found my mind often wandering when I was reading. Funny premise, but it just didn’t hold my attention.

Hysterical. Great humor and storyline. A truly pleasant read.

Quirky characters those Masterson. You can’t help but fall in love with all of the characters.

A hysterical tale packed with small-town charm, family drama, and true love.

I really wanted to like this story but it was so hard to get into this book. There were some fun parts to the story but overall it was predictable and maybe that is why it was hard to get into this book. As a reader you just kinda knew what was going to happen next.

I wish I known this was the second book in a series - I ended up reading the first one after starting this and feeling a little bit lost. Luckily I found it on Amazon kindle for a good price and managed to crack on with that, then this one. It really helped to read the first one, I don't think I'd have finished this book if I hadn't.
Overall it was enjoyable, if a little predictable, but it was a nice easy read. have to be honest, the cover dragged me - who can resits highland flings and and kilts!!
I received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I admit, I was attracted by the Scottish themed highland dancing on the cover. I love all this Scottish, so this seemed like a perfect fit. It’s a fun book about romance, renovations and a crazy family. The characters are well developed and bring a lot to the overall story. Catriona bought the family farm and wants to turn it into a wedding/party destination. Cat is approached by a home renovation show and chaos ensues. There are a lot of laugh out loud moments. There are a few budding romances and it’s a different twist then what you are used to seeing on HGTV.

Relatively Sane by Whitney Dineen is the 2nd book in the Relativity series, and it is great fun. I look forward to reading book 1 in the series, Relatively Normal. If you are looking for a fun book about a very different family, this is the book for you. What a wonderful escape! I recommend this book.

I reviewed a digital arc provided by NetGalley and the publisher. Thank you.

I really enjoyed reading this book.

Cat moves back home, gets reunited with her high school boyfriend, buys her parents' farm and decides to renovate it. She calls in Renovation Brothers, the TV show, to help her with the work, and that's when things start to get weird. Suddenly, her plumbing starts failing, and her boyfriend is never available....

I must admit I was not into Cat and Sam being together at first, but I came to like the couple. Cat's friend Sarah was one of my favorite characters, along with Nan, of course!

Thanks NetGalley and the publisher for my ARC of this book.

A nice read for the summer, full of charming, adorable characters. Hence the plot is not too sugary, and it is good fun to read the book. The chapters are quick to read, and you just cannot stop ! Yet the book is quite dense, so, it's like biting into a large piece of cake !
I smiled a lot reading, the charm of the characters helps to relax after a busy working day !

A big thank you to NetGalley and Whitney Dineen for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I liked this book, it made me laugh. Cat is a very lucky woman. Her family is crazy but very obviously loving-not everyone gets that growing up. she was also soo lucky to be chosen for a renovation show, but she seemed to expect it!! Sam was a bit stupid for not just communicating and telling the truth-that seemed really reckless. Overall a fun romance. 3.5 stars I think most Romance readers will enjoy. Especially the touches of humor.

Cat is back, with the story continuing from the first book. A lot of wacky encounters with her strange family: outspoken grandma, father who loves kilts and stuffed animals in outfits, her mother who is an extreme hoarder and a brother who loves women's clothing. Not to mention her ex-fiance is still in town, her old high school boyfriend is still after her, and now she has been picked by the brothers (think HGTV) to do a make over on TV. She is hoping to get the house and barn ready for putting on events. A lot of chuckles, and endearing characters. Was not crazy about her hot and cold with Sam (old boyfriend), who I thought should have confessed sooner. Other than that, enjoyed this one. Not sure if you need to read the first one, but it helps explain the characters. Would recommend this book and author.

This story picks up almost exactly where the last one left off. I liked it, and it had funny moments but I really didn’t like Sam in this book. He says one thing but his actions scream something completely contrary. I honestly found myself hoping they would break up in this one. Nan was great and there are some hilarious moments but I kind of wanted Cat to end up with one of the brothers.

I think this book is really funny, enjoyable, and entertaining.
It's well written, lovely and quirky characters, a plot that will make you laugh out loud more than once.

Many thanks to Whitney Dineen and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

Sam and Catriona have recently reunited after years apart. They are joined in the story by Cat’s kooky family alongside a supporting cast of odd characters. While I found Sam and Cat’s story funny and endearing, there was really too much slapstick silliness for my taste. It’s my opinion that there was so much silliness that it interfered with the story’s actual plot. I really wanted to be able to give a more positive review, but this just really isn’t my kind of story.
