Lots of great ideas! Simple but just the things you forget about. Loved using these ideas with my toddler. He loves being outside as do I!
This review isn't going to be long. I'm not a huge fan of a review rehashing the entire plot and spoiling it for everyone.
This is the first book by Krissy Bonning-Gould that I have read. We enjoyed it. My little ones liked activities. I would look at more of her books.
I received an ARC of this book to read through NetGalley in exchange for a fair review.
This activity book is laid out in a cookbook format. They are categories and recipes for each activity. The categories range from Outdoor Fun to Outdoor Art. The recipes are vast activities for outdoors. One of my favorites is Giant Tic-Tac-Toss. This uses old socks and sidewalk chalk. It will have your toddler understanding the game of Tic-Tac-Toe in no time.
I suggest you get this book before summer arrives. You are going to want to utilize the activities contained in it whenever the weather provides and the kids claim they are bored.
While designed for toddlers, older children will enjoy them too. I am always on the lookout for activities to do with my 5 and 2-year-old grandsons. This book is the perfect answer.
I received an ARC from Callisto Media: Rockridge Press through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This in no way affects my opinion or rating of this book.
My youngest child is 4 years old, however had a stroke when she was only 19 months old as a result of brain cancer. So many of these activities are wonderful for her to work on her fine motor skills as well as sensory tolerance. I really enjoyed how this book was set up and would recommend to many of the groups I am in that have children with special needs as well as toddler aged kids.
