I enjoyed this book it kept me interested all the way through. I would recommend to another reader with similar reading tastes.

I went to this without even reading the sypnosis plus having low expectations and was still left disappointed. Besides Kate trying to get in Sordida, nothing much happened besides the last 50 pages. The ending was predictable and I didn't feel any suspense at all (if you didn't count me wanting something to happen as suspense). I barely read and watch thrillers but this was so obvious that it was going to take that route but the only difference in my prediction was the form of it.

As for Kate, I didn't care at all for her. I'm not sure whether she's purposely unlikable, but I really hated that she thought she was better and smarter than everyone else despite falling for such an obvious trap and living a dishonest life (in my opinion). Besides that, she would blame her own faults on others and had a very sporadic temper out of nowhere.

As for the writing style, the amount of grammatical mistakes and the overly repetitive conversations almost killed me. The author really had some issues with commas and question marks. He would put them where it's not needed and never when they're supposed to be there. The way the dialogues are written are so horrible, it's like every characters have a monologue. Each convo would have 3-4 questions asked in one dialogue and each reply would answer all those at one dialogue in order too. Sometimes, it was unnecessary vulgar at times,

All the sexual stuff where trying so hard to be used as a shock factor but, even me, an asexual, don't think spanking counts as shocking really, especially in written format.

Overall, didn't enjoy this at all and it was very predictable. The ending didn't solve anything and the bad guys weren't punished nor was she in any danger after what happened which was unrealistic. The only shocking thing I found was Chad's part in the end.

Thank you Netgalley for providing me with the digital copy for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book, and agree with other reviewers that it was a little difficult to love it because of the unlikable characters - that being said, I found the story pulled me in, and I had to keep going to know what was going to happen! A bit of a mixed bag, but worth it in the end!

I was really excited about this book - the idea and the premise were so intriguing and I was really looking forward to reading and reviewing. However, I found the book really difficult to get into and the characters were pretty hateful. I don't usually judge a book on the likability of the characters - humans are flawed and everything - but I really just couldn't get on board with this book at all.

I received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was a complimentary copy fron net galley - thank you

I think this is a little bit of a marmite book - you will either love it not be able to connect with the characters which can lessen the enjoyment

I found it a little bit difficult to get into but stuck with it and on balance enjoyed it. I did, however find the characters not very likeable, however, if you are willing to give it a go, stick with it and if you can find some distance from the characters and look from the outside in, the enjoyment will be there. Mostly, on a personal level, I like to get into the characters of a book and feel better if I can connect and 'root' for them but really wasn't able to go that here so I don't feel I got the best out of this one

Unfortunately I was hoping for more excitement & thrillers. Just didn’t hold my interest.
Cover & description was great but didn’t quite follow through.

Unfortunately this book wasn’t for me as I am looking for a story where the Heroine has flaws but definitely is not pictured so much as greedy and I just couldn’t connect with the story.

The IDEA of the book was fabulous. But unfortunately, it didn't follow through.

The book lacked any texture and identity... from a ‘tried’ erotica to a tale of kidnapping and modern day slavery , it was a switch. There was no subtle building up off the plot and some clues didn’t add up. There was a lot left wanting to the ending and the protagonist. The plot was good but the writing was plain.

Thank you for providing me with a copy of this book. Unfortunately I had great expectations for the story. However it was disappointing. No thriller here. Also the main character is not likable. I found it difficult to finish

This book was ok. Expected more from the synopsis. Although it did nothing for me, others may find it good. Thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for the arc of this book in return for my honest review. Receiving the book in this manner had no bearing on this review.

All That Glitters was a great idea and I love how unique this book is. There were moments that dragged on for me, but otherwise I did enjoy it. The characters for the most part were lively and I did enjoy Jason Andrews way with words.

I really tried to finish this book but I just couldn't. I made it about half way and that was a struggle. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen but it never did. Even the parts that should have been exciting like Kate going to the club for the first time or meeting Mr. X were just dull. All of the characters were unlikable and Kate comes off as a greedy, entitled whiner who wants a life of luxury without any work. Even on the off chance that the story gets better in the second half, I doubt the payoff would be worth the read.

Kate Pearce is an escort by trade . Yet, she is a certified accountant, but that is not the high life. She has one steady customer who goes to her for therapy (Chad Dwight). Kate also works stacking shelves at a supermarket, part time. She barely meets her monthly bills - even as she lives in a bedsit.

Chad , during one session, tells her about a horrific time he had (with a woman he picked up at a bar) - at a swinger's club - Sordida.

Kate is also very greedy, She checks out Sordida, meets with the manager, Mr. X, and signs contracts over dinner. The club is for the wealthy who find pleasure with the "hostesses/hosts" there. But to Kate, she only sees the dollar signs

Is this the answer to Kate's dreams? Or is this the beginning of something entirely different?

Thanks to Jason Andrews and NetGalley for an interesting read. (Not for the faint at heart!)

This wasn't very interesting to me as the description alluded it to be. I couldn't get past the first chapter. It just seemed dry. Maybe it picks up later, but I only go for books that give me the gusto in the first few lines.
