Dr. Kaur wonderfully laid out the NICU experience for parents in an understanding and gentle way, giving accurate information while also emphasizing hope and overcoming difficulties. Having multiple preemies in the family, this book brought back a lot of memories. I wish it had been available with our first, to reduce the fear just a bit and give a one-place (non-internet) stop to get basic information about the medical issues she was going through. It will be a great resource for families in the future. I also loved that she included vignettes from other NICU families themselves.
