A great collection of the Fall/Winter's most anticipated books! The excerpts definitely left me thirsty for more. I also appreciated the links that went directly to the books' Netgalley pages! Great, as always, thank you!
Another great collection from Publishers Lunch. I've been following the Buzz Books collections for a while now and I'm always very excited to see them come out. Very interesting books in this one, added a few to my tbr.
I have a love/hate relationship with these Buzz Books collections put out by Publishers Lunch. On one hand, I love that there are so many new, interesting titles to add to my TBR pile. On the other hand, I hate that there are so many new, interesting titles to add to my TBR pile.
This collection contains a multitude of books to be released this upcoming fall/winter. There is a good mix of books that are lighter and seem more fun - for example, Eoin Colfer's Highfire - along with those that are more heavy-hitting and important reads - for example, Jeanine Cummins's American Dirt, Andrew Krivak's The Bear, Eliza Nellums's All That's Bright and Gone, E.R. Ramzipoor's The Ventriloquists. There are also quite a few nonfiction reads that seem intriguing as well, such as Susannah Cahalan's The Great Pretender and Samantha Power's The Education of an Idealist.
This is probably one of the most interesting (and most extensive) collections that Buzz Books has released recently, and I'm excited to dive into quite a few of these reads.
I love that the most anticipated books for the remainder of the year is located in one document. It definitely helped me plan the rest of my reading year.
I can not say enough about the incredible list of books to browse in this publisher's launch Fall/Winter 2019... So many titles, so many genres, and to choose will be daunting, However I love that you supply exerpts so that there is a way to peruse what ones that I want to read. The very first one has me intrigued and a bit frightened as it portrays some truths about today's government and society. I was struck by this quote - " An awakewning, a large-scale shift in belief: that things done to those beneath are not properly balanced". "A new definition of violence"."Quads, quadrants...... I will read more, and this is just the beginning of the lists...Thanks Buzz Books!
This is my third Buzz Book I have read and reviewed. These books are my “Go To” source for upcoming reading selections. I have taken the opportunity and am thrilled to be able to utilize the “request” links embedded in the excerpts for several books. In fear of accumulating too many requests from publishers, I have added many to my “to Be Read” list and will request them from the library at a later date.. Every time I reference a Buzz Book I have to pause and sigh.....So Many Books, so Little Time!
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to view this compendium of upcoming books for fall 2019.
My list of "To Be Read" is growing at an unprecedented rate...I can't wait for fall 2019.
Love reading these every season. Helps me pick out some books that maybe I wouldn't normally read. I love they include some short parts of different books
Some very good books, I added a lot to my TBR. I really appreciate this chance to view samplers and upcoming releases
This collection of titles and excerpts has gotten me very excited for the next season of books. I went through and bookmarked all the ones I’d be requesting and I can’t wait to read them!
I like how this list is structured. It’s fiction, debuts and nonfiction. There’s a list of ‘buzzy’ titles in the beginning, and then the ones with previews and advanced chapters make up the bulk of it. The ones in fiction I’m most anticipating are Long, Bright River; Saint X; American Dirt; and Imaginary Friend. For nonfiction I’m very interested in Dark Waters & The Great Pretender.
Thank you Netgalley for this compilation!
*I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
A book lovers dream! This 2019 Fall/Winter guide to upcoming books is exciting! Gets me prepared to know what to request through the library so I am ahead of everyone else! Also a great way to find new authors.my Want To Read list though over lol.
This book is perfect for people looking for books to add to their to-read lists! I can't wait to read some of the books in the fall.
I love that this is broken down into sections for fiction, nonfiction, and debut authors. There are around 45 selections in here so I was not at a loss for reading options. I think I requested almost half the book in full copies to read! This has a little bit of everything so it's perfect for anyone looking to find the next great read.
An excellent collection of previews from some amazing works soon to hit the shelves. What I love the most about these is the opportunity to get drawn into a new story, possibly a genre I don't normally gravitate towards, purely on those all-important opening lines.
Always love these releases! Very helpful in curating my TBR list. I like how the lists are broken down.
Thank you to the authors, publishers, and Netgalley for providing me with a free copy in exchange for my honest review.
I'd seen these Buzz Books issues floating around before but never looked at one before today. I am very happy I came across this! This is a great way to find new books that are coming out over the next few months. It is divided into several sections: fiction, debut, and nonfiction. I was able to discover a number of books that are now added to my Goodreads list just from perusing this issue. Some books I hadn't heard about that I am now super excited to read, others I had heard about and am now even more intrigued about. I highly recommend this series to find new books!
Very insightful & a great guide to upcoming titles! Thanks for sending to me! I can't wait to read these books.
What a great list! Thank you for the opportunity to take a glimpse into a whole lot of exciting books to look forward to this fall! Have already requested a few!
