Leila Meacham drew me into Dragonfly and kept me engaged throughout. At times I needed to refer back to the list of characters since each character had the name given at birth, a code name, and a made up name. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and will definitely recommend Dragonfly to my book clubs.
Meacham draws the readers in from the beginning and holds their interest throughout this saga. Although there are times when various situations seem unreal and even far-fetched, this reader was forgiving of an author who can keep me awake during an international flight when just a few hours of sleep are of importance. It was worth the weariness added to jet lag to learn the ending.
Dragonfly by Leila Meacham World War II Historical Thriller Fiction. The stories of five government spies who were chosen for their special abilities. This book is hard to put down from the first few pages. I lost sleep because I could not stop reading. Wonderful realistic characters with lives that reflect the era. Everyone has secrets and there are few people worthy of trust. Suspicions are caused by the smallest details for example the nuances of behavior or language. The characters live on the edge because anyone may betray you. I loved this book for its authentic historical details, constant action, light romance and wonderful characters.

Dragonfly by Leila Meacham was an amazing story about five young people living in an occupied France during WWII. Leila does an amazing job writing such an emotional and moving story line and wow those five young people were just epic.
Dragonfly is a book I won't soon forget. Leila Meacham has given us a wonderful saga of five young Americans who form strong bonds while serving in Paris for the OSS. I loved this book. I have long been fascinated by the OSS, and the research Ms. Meacham has put in is readily visible in her novel. The characters are all strong and likeable and believably written. I was sad for it to end.
I loved this book. It pulled me in from the first page. This is the story of 5 brave young people during WWII who go undercover as spies in Occupied France, the code name for their operation is Dragonfly. These 5 people are all from varied backgrounds but they all have a mission. I couldn't put this down once I started. I highly recommend it to fans of historical fiction.
I would like to thank Netgalley and the publisher for providing me a copy free of charge. This is my honest and unbiased opinion of it.

Teasingly is a wonderful historical novel that has great characters and a interesting storyline. Well written and a must read.
This book is so good. Very moving account of 5 young Americans assigned to Nazi Paris as spies. I could not put this book down and will be added to my favorite's list of war historical fiction. I have loved this author's previous books and this one did not disappoint.
During World War II a small group of Americans are recruited to spy on the Nazis in France. They are from disparate backgrounds, genders and beliefs, but they all form a unique bond as Dragonfly, a group determined to help turn the tide of the war. They risk everything, and some of them will pay the highest price imaginable. I think stories like these are so popular now, in these times, because we need to believe in heroes, and we would like to imagine that even we would rise to the challenge if necessary
