Ok but not thrilling
I read this book and promptly forgot about it. Even my reading notes can't bring it back. That doesn't sound like anything thrilling does it? Mr. Aaronson likes description but isn't terribly good at it. He also likes gymnastics. He has people holding onto the edge of a hole with only one hand and swinging back and flipping over in a 50cm space and one guy vanishes – along with the covering sod – down a hole previously described as narrow. I think the book would have been better with a tougher editor.
