So this is the first book in the series, and I will admit I think I am going to enjoy this series. I have already fallen for all the characters in the book. Not just the MCs. I think the secondary characters, who will get their own books are going to be fantastic and I can't wait to read more. So with this book, I will admit I thought the beginning was a little slow and maybe a little repetitive, but once the action got going and I got a feel for the characters I was hooked!
Boone, is swoon worthy...well I think Rhett and Asher are too. I want to move to Stoney Creek! Peyton was a bit harder for me to warm up to. I get that she was trying to start over, but I didn't get her motives for being soooo secretive about her past. I guess that was something that was hard for me swallow. However, once she started opening up and Boone started opening up and the story got moving... I was hooked. I can definitely say I am going to read the next book (Asher and Remy's story). This is going to be one heck of a series, so don't miss out and get started by reading this book!

After a tragedy left life in Seattle unbearable for Peyton she decided it was time to leave, find somewhere that would bring a little happiness, instead of so much pain. So she packed her things and wound up in Stone Creek, it was the last place where she truly felt happy, and she's hoping she'll find it again. She buys her own shop, settles into her new home, and starts to find comfort in her new surroundings, everything is falling right into place. That is until someone is murdered in her store... now she is rattled all over again, and constantly looking over her shoulder.
Which brings police detective Boone Knight to her doorstep offering his protection.... and maybe a little more!
From the very first page Naughty Stranger will have you hooked, once I got started I just couldn't put it down. It's sultry and suspenseful story line and captivating characters drew me in and had me teetering helplessly from the edge of my seat. I loved everything about this one, the small town setting was warm and welcoming, the characters were perfectly crafted, and the words were divine... a perfect start to a new series! With a start like this one, I can hardly wait to see what the next installment holds for us. Highly recommend!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from NetGalley, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

This is an excellent romantic suspense! As the title suggests this is Book #1 in the Dangerous Love series and it packs a punch and I'm hoping we get more in the rest of this series. Peyton and Boone have chemistry that if off the charts from the moment they meet and it never sizzles out. I loved the mystery, intrigue and the diverse secondary characters that made this a quick, enjoyable read. The friendships among the characters was refreshing and entertaining and the description of this small town in Maine made me want to visit. I can't wait to read the next book in this series! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A surprising twist for Peyton, Naughty Stranger is nothing she expected and everything she swore she didn't want. Running from her past and trying to embrace a new kind of future, Peyton moves to a small town to figure out how to survive.
It isn't exactly what she signed up for though because soon after she starts her new life a body ruins her day. A body belonging to someone she doesn't even know. Naughty Stranger is a suspenseful romance with plenty of red flags. Let your inner detective enjoy solving this mess while enjoy hot nights with her detective!

I enjoyed most of the book. I thought that the "killer" was quite obvious and it went a little sideways for me after that.

Sexy and suspenseful, Naughty Stranger was a great book!
Peyton and Boone were the perfect book couple. In their own ways they are heartbroken by a past relationship and adamant they aren't looking for another. Bam! Perfect couple!
I really loved the story and how these two find one another and are eventually able to heal. Peyton finds the perfect spot to start over and finds a true family and sense of belonging in this sweet little town.
The danger and suspense I was not expecting, but it was a great part of the book and very intriguing.
The entire clan of characters are all entertaining and I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

4.25⭐
The first book in Stacey Kennedy's new Dangerous Love series was a very enjoyable story. That had a nice mix of sweetness, heat and suspense. Not to mention engaging characters and I liked the second chance element it had. Which was more about the main characters having the chance to start over and find love again rather than two people who've previously been in a relationship splitting up and finding their way back to each other. And as for the actual story, it was very engaging, well paced and it easily drew me in; and I'm honestly looking forward to reading more from this series in the future.
I would happily recommend.

Great book. Suspenseful, funny and sexy!
I enjoy Stacey’s books and she certainly did not disappoint with This one.
Must read

What a great start to a new series, this one does not disappoint! Sparks fly between Peyton, newcomer to small town Stoney Creek and Boone Knight, our resident smoking hot detective!
These two had incredible chemistry and that is why I love her books so much, she writes characters with both depth and the chemistry to start a 4 alarm fire. The plot was one of suspense and while it did pale a little, the scales tip heavy of the relationship between Peyton and Boone. Thumbs up to that. The story heats up as Boone appoints himself protector of Peyton after a dead body appears in her shop and that begins our little peek into how this rather grouchy man child who seems to resent his role, denies the pull, yet just can't help himself. Peyton I loved as well and loved Boone and Peyton together.
All in all a great read and I greedily look forward to the next book in the series.
arc from Net Galley and Publisher.

Boone and Peyton are two broken souls who find comfort and love when they least expect it. Add in a suspense element that keeps you guessing until the end makes for a great read. I’m looking forward to reading Wicked Sinner, book 2 in this series.

This is the first book I have read from this author and I will say I am a big fan of Ms. Kennedy. Naughty Stranger is sexy, hot and full of mystery that kept me on the edge of my couch! It's the first book is the Dangerous Love series and I'm already ready for more!
Peryton Kerr and Boone Knight have hot, passionate chemistry from their first meet and it never sizzled. Peyton took off to start a new life in small town, Stoney Creek, Maine. She's overcoming a tragedy and moving away from Seattle that holds a lot of memories is what she needs to do in order to move on with her life. Petyon finds herself owning a lingerie shop and making new friends. And catching the eye of the town's hot detective, Boone.
But right after she moves to Stoney Creek, someone is murdered in her shop and her life is changed again. Boone is on the case, but his feeling for Peyton makes him take a step back as Lead on the investigation, because he is too close. And keeping Peyton safe and trying not to fall for her, is what he's focused on.
This book is a wild ride of cat and mouse. It's intense, steamy makes you keep guessing who the killer is...
If you are a fan of Kristen Ashley books, I highly recommend this series.

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
The chemisty in this book was off the charts!
I absolutely adored these two.. you will too!!

5 stars +++ AMAZING
Naughty Stranger was Fantastic! After reading about Boone & Peyton I want more. Boone and Peyton are like no other. You will love these two. Must Read!!!
I voluntarily received an ARC from NetGalley for a honest review.

I found this book very enjoyable. Peyton and Boone were such a great couple. The steamy chemistry between these two was great. Add in a little mystery in the form of wondering who is after Peyton and why and you have a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end. Peyton by all appearances seems like a woman who just wants a fresh start after experiencing personal tragedy. She has no idea why someone would want to hurt her. Boone is a man who has returned to his hometown and is trying to forget and move past the betrayal he has suffered. The two seem to subconsciously recognize the same broken parts in one another. Boone wants nothing but to protect Peyton and find out what is going on. Peyton finds happiness in Boone she never expecting to in such a short time of meeting him. This is a very well written story that will keep you guessing who is after her and why. I loved the ending and the HEA. I can't wait to find out what happens with Asher and Remy. The next story in the Dangerous Love series.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This is not your typical Stacey Kennedy read. The author blends suspense and romance perfectly in this highly addicting read.
Then characters were captivating and the storyline was interesting to the end
Peyton and Boone were opposites but their attraction was in full force. They worked well together to solve the mystery and build their relationship.
Seeing that this is the first of a series I'm looking forward to see what else the author has in store in this "new" writing style.

Jumping right in, I really liked Peyton. She had some mystery surrounding her at first, but as the story takes shape, so does she. Boone was a strong male lead who has a great network of family and friends, but also has a past. I liked the mystery aspect in it, though I did figure it out pretty quickly. I really enjoyed Boone's sister and Peyton's new BFF Kinsley, as well as Remy. I can't wait to see what happens in their love lives next, though I do have my guesses. Back to Peyton and Boone; they seem to be a great fit and have tons of chemistry. They complement each other and reading their 'friends with benefits' to more was fun. My only negative is that it seemed to move very quickly after the first time jump of a month.

Peyton Kerr suffered a horrible loss when her husband was killed in a car accident. It has been a year since his tragic death and she has made the move to Stoney Creek, Maine…the last vacation place where they were so happy. There she meets some wonderful new friends including Detective Boone Knight. The attraction between Peyton and Boone is immediate and hot, but neither one of them are ready for another relationship. She needs time to grieve and he is still recovering from his first wife’s betrayal and their divorce. When a body is found in Peyton’s new lingerie store, a body that resembles Peyton, was this a robbery gone bad or something more sinister? When Peyton is almost killed in an accident, Boone and the department believe that someone is targeting Peyton…but why? A wonderful first book in this new series about danger, love and new beginnings. I very much look forward to the next book in this series. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

I love this new series by Stacey Kennedy! Peyton leaves Seattle to resettle in Stony Creek to start her life anew and leave tragedy and sadness behind. Little did she know, that she would a new purpose, a new family where she is. Boone is a local detective and brother to Kinsley, the club owner. Their first encounter marks a turn in each of their lives. This is a story of survival and rebirth as the past is left behind and a clear future is exposed to Boone and Peyton. The story is full of crazy characters that I am sure, all have stories to be told in the future. The chemistry between Boone and Peyton is intense and Stacey was able to use this wrap the suspense and thrill of danger in one neat package that will make your head spin with it’s conclusion that you did not see coming. I can’t wait to read the next instalment of this series. I honestly reviewed an arc.

A recent widow, Peyton, wants a fresh start so she moves to a small town and becomes a small business owner. Stoney Creek, Maine seems to be the perfect place to start over until it looks like someone is out to kill her. Boone is the police detective investigating the case. He's immediately attracted to Peyton and wants to protect her at all costs. Great romantic suspense with lots of plot twists make this a good read.

Naughty Stranger
by Stacy Kennedy
Peyton Kerr is a young widow, whose looking for a fresh new start at the last place she was happy.
Boone Knight was a man deceived by two women, and has no need for another.
So what happens when 2 broken hearted people meet? A hot night and promises of not fall in love with each other.
This is an emotional read with the mix of romance and suspense! Right at the start you could feel the heart ache and that’s just the prologue. Then the suspense kicks in a couple chapters later. The plot had such a great layout with the meeting of two broken hearts and a bunch of unexpected twists. Murder, break-ins, accidents and more, but I don’t want to give it away!
Read it for yourself and with a Kleenex handy! I think you’ll love it as much as I did!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
