This is the 2nd book I’ve read and loved by this author. The cover is delightful to look at. Lovely location sets it all off. Great group of characters who all worked well together. The book was well written and flowed so well. Once I started I was hooked and couldn’t put it down. It was a truly magical read. Bit disappointed at the end but good that not all books end when the man gets his woman. So very true to life ending .

I enjoyed this book overall, but felt the ending let it down. The fact I feel Flora chose the wrong man aside, the ending was rushed. I would have liked to learn more about Flora's life a year on. It was sad, flat, and all that after a well-paced story, with beautiful descriptions of the South of France, and a great bunch of characters. I also think the author needed to spend more time on Hugo's redeeming qualities.
