"A groundbreaking study of the lifelong effects of near-death experiences in the newly born, babies, toddlers, and children up to age five"
A truly enlightening book on a fascinating subject, which certainly made me think about death a bit more.
I did not enjoy this book. The writing is disjointed and disorganized. It wafts and wanes from one topic to another and really never fully addressed past life memory in children. Remember old Madame Blavatsky's esoteric book, which is now over 100 years old? This is very similar. This contains sentence after sentence of rambling talk from the author with nothing to back up claims or beliefs. Most of the ideas and/or writing makes no sense.
I am personally interested in subjects such as these, that's why I chose to read and evaluate this book. So I have an open mind to esoteric ideas that are intelligently put forth. Unfortunately, they are not put forth in that way in THE FOREVER ANGELS.
I really am curious about why the publisher agreed to publish this book. They are asking for reviews NOW. ?
Why don't they hire me to read these gallies before publishing? Perhaps they just want to get another one under their belts regardless of quality.
The Forever Angels is a very interesting book. I wonder what the other thousands the author has interviewed have been like and why these were the ones picked. I tend to believe the scientific reasons of the things we are when we are dying, organ failure, and starvation of oxygen. Very entertaining book.
Informative and interesting topic. This is about near death expereinces in children/babies.
I received this ARC free from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
This is a beautiful book about children who experience NDE's (near Death experience) and how it effects them as well as how it makes them different from other children. This book is beautiful.
I would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy free of charge. This is my honest and unbiased opinion of it.
The Forever Angels Near-Death Experiences in Childhood and Their Lifelong Impact by P. M. H. Atwater. Inner Traditions. Bear & Company. Nonfiction (Adult), Parenting & Families. Publication date is set for 03 Sep 2019. Electronic galley. 5 Stars.
This information in this book is absolutely hands-down true. Enlightening and illuminating, this book is a landmark work, pitch-perfect in understanding the minds of young children in the wake of a near death experience (NDE) from birth to age 5 and their oftentimes challenging paths into adulthood—as they, with their unique genius, are seldom on the same page as everyone else! An NDE is a profound experience that keeps informing us throughout our lives. This book is incredible, fascinating, informative and striking in its simplicity—both for child experiencers and their parents—at whatever age they are now. To find someone who understands is priceless. Can’t recommend this book highly enough!
Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for providing this ebook for review.
