I decided to read this book because firstly, it's Mother Teresa, so there was actually no question about it. I dived in thinking it was going to be a lovely informative autobiography-type book shining light on the works of Mother Teresa. However, soon after turning a few pages, it became evident that this book is actually one huge attack on the Catholic church. I know... its included right there... in small print... under the title of the book, just got blinded by the first 2 words that captivated me: "Mother Teresa". Being a catholic christian myself, I found this book very conflicting.

I admire the work of Mother Teresa. She was truly a humble and affectionate human being. I agree with the authors views on her humility and I appreciate how defensive he is in her favour. I can equally fully understand the passionate anger (for lack of better wording) that was falling off the pages of this book. I have heard stories of corruption within the Vatican before, but this is the first time I heard - or read - about the Confessions of Mother Teresa. That is enough to get anyone's blood boiling. While shopping in our local hypermarket the other night, I saw the Confessions was on sale and I was shockingly surprised that this video is so openly available.
