This is an exhaustive look at HBCUs and their football programs. The focuses on Jake Gaither and Florida A&M but also provides an overall history. I learned a lot reading this book. The book is well written and there is a lot of information presented here. The text is accompanied with historical photographs. This is an important book history. Enjoy

This rating is based on the 50 or so pages I was able to read before the file would not open in my ereader. I was very disappointed with this as I was enjoying the author’s perspective on football at HBCUs
