This collection was so beautifully written, and was at once totally unflinching in its depiction of mental illness, and so utterly atmospheric. Ikpi not only gives the reader a raw, utterly intense depiction of what it's like to live with Bipolar II disorder, but guides them through a greater understanding of the fear and frustration that accompanies so many mental illnesses (and the often hard road to diagnoses and treatment) in this world. Highly recommend.

This book is an ok read but it took me a while to get into it. It also wasn't a quick read like I had hoped, but rather dragged in some places. All in all, the content was decent and kept me guessing until the end.
