Interesting read and very informative of the lifecycle of fashion. This is an updated version of a previous edition a few years ago, I would recommend this newer edition as the updates are more accurate.

This is a second edition of the text, and I wondered what had changed in the past four years to justify the new one. After all, the first edition is available for just under $50. Amazon's description of the new edition states that it "includes revised CSR and reshoring sections, updated case studies and new content on how manufacturers can adapt their working practices and the further demise of the department store sector."

So, before writing my review, I requested the first edition through interlibrary loan so I could compare and see whether I thought the update was required. I did note significant differences between the two editions, but whether those are significant enough to warrant this new edition? I don't know that they are. Both editions of the text cover the topic well.
