My Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars.
Disclaimer I received an advanced readers copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Why did I decide to turn the pages? I originally agreed to review this one because the cover was gorgeous, and I knew some people who enjoyed it. The cover still captures my interest even a decade later.
My Overall Thoughts/Impressions: I enjoyed this one. It was a cute, fun read. It was predictable, yes. But I didn’t mind that. I thought Lauren had a good effortless writing style.
I also enjoyed that this was set in London.
Major Strengths
-writing style
-nerdy main character
-character development
Major Weaknesses
-didn’t always love Jason’s antics but that’s just my personal thoughts
So why 3.5 stars? It was cute and stood out from others in the genre.
Warnings some instances of strong language, underage drinking, some sexual content/innuendos, etc. Recommended for older teens.

Loved loved loved! This book was absolutely adorable and so much fun. Julia is such a relatable main character and I honestly couldn't stop smiling throughout this whole thing. And the cover is absolutely gorgeous!
I read this so long ago (never wrote a review for it on here but apparently it counts in my ratio even though this was the early days of Netgalley when that wasn't a feature).
I remember it being an absolutely cute contemporary YA romance with a fantastic setting.
Eight years late, but I love Lauren Morrill and her novels! And even eight years later, I remember MEANT TO BE so vividly as one of the funniest and most heartwarming trips abroad I've read.
This was a cute and fast read. Read this one in one sitting. Meant to Be by Lauren Morrill was great read for anyone that likes contemporary cute reads.
