Promising start focused heavily on establishing Evie as the MC. She definitely needs a break, whether it's taking off to Barbados or fate intervening to take her back to the ranch. Hoping the book quickly leaves behind the reality TV drama and gets to the cowboy.

I had the pleasure of reading the first chapter of this book as an ARC in exchange for a review. This is going to be an amazing book, the first chapter had me mesmerized and I wanted to continue reading.

This was really good!! I can't wait to read the rest of it. I wish I'd known this was only an excerpt but it's okay because I'm probably going to end up buying the book.

I'm looking forward to the full book! I will say that I wish it was made more obvious when requesting that you're only going to be getting a sample, though...

This is not just a cowboy story. I trust there will be a ranch and a cowboy, but we start with the heroine, Evie. Evie is a celebrity chef and becoming a very public figure. She has won a couple of reality shows (first Black woman to win on elf the big ones) and is now a co-host on a popular new show. Here's what I liked about the excerpt. Evie and the other characters (best friend, Blair, a couple of food critics, her manager and girlfriend) are all relatable an have some personality. There is even someone who may be a villain (( run-in at a Christmas party that leaves us wit ha bit of a cliffhanger). Perfect combination of action, insight, and humor (fun dialogue).

The cowboy in question is her childhood crush, Zach Pleasant. We don't even meet him in the excerpt, just get a brief memory from Evie and a reference to the Pleasant Ranch. I wonder if she will end up on the ranch for some reason....

I can't wait to read the whole book!

This first chapter of A Cowboy to Remember really caught me. In this short space I found the character interesting and sympathetic and enjoyed the plot foundation. The cliffhanger at the end made me frustrated I didn’t have the whole book to consume in one sitting. I look forward to the release of the book.

This preview chapter is excellent! Evie already feels like what I call book bestie material. The synopsis has me hooked. Sleeping Beauty meets rodeo star?! Can't wait for the full novel, because A Cowboy to Remember is for sure gonna be a hit

Rebekah Weatherspoon is so, so, so, so good! This excerpt has me salivating for more. I have so many questions. I need to know that Evie ends up happy with Zachariah, that Melanie gets hers because I disliked her to the nth degree (I don't advocate for violence but that one can be removed by any means necessary.) Basically I need this book, so February better hurry up! Not sure where this book will take me, but I'm ready to jump on that horse and go for the ride🤣

This is just a preview and too short to give any meaningful feedback. It seems like a really good premise to a story from what it revealed, I just wish it gave more chapters before it came to an end.

A Cowboy to Remember is an incredible and heartwarming story. The love story broke me with the powerful writing, impressive storyline full of heart-rending emotions and brilliant characters. Has all the feels in an amazing story these characters have to go on to get their HEA!! Happy reading!!

I assumed the copy provided would be a full one, but I just received a few pages. While the premise of the story is intriguing, the sample isn't enough to provide an opinion on the whole book.

Starts off promising but it is hard to rate or review this - on the 1st chapter alone.
Would be interested in reading more!!!

I really loved the excerpt - the first chapter really left we chomping at the bit to read the rest of the book!

Evie is a great character - someone you can instantly like and want to be best friends with! We haven’t met the hero yet - but I get the feeling he’s going to be epic. Especially if Evie’s been hung up on him for so long!

Like everybody, I cannot WAIT for this book. I am excited for the rest of the book but also need to clear this one off the Net Galley review shelf so I don't keep feeling taunted and teased by the fact that it is only one chapter!!! I guess in the meantime, you can all do the same thing I'm planning on doing: rereading some of Rebekah's other great books like Rafe or Haven! Super excited to read the rest of this book!

I think I will like the full story once it is available but I can't accurately give a proper review until I read it, as this was just the first chapter.

I am so bummed that this is an excerpt only! I did enjoy what I was able to read, but I am requesting romance titles to work on a library conference and this short segment didn't give me what I needed.
