Ohhh Dogwood Lane is picking up speed!

Where I enjoyed Neely and Dane, this book took me on an even better ride!
A surprise visit from a commitment-phobe in the small town meeting the town serial-faller-in-lover, who has sworn off men.
The unlikely friendship develops and the sparks keep on flying til they ignite.

Realistic couple in the super adorable small town, with real troubles and solutions. Awesome!!

Being back in Dogwood Lane is like breathing a breath of fresh air. There’s just something special about small town life and Adriana Locke is the driving force behind it. With impeccable writing, Trevor and Hayley leap off the pages with their sexy banter, contract, and chemistry that can only be described as combustible. Seriously, if you strike a match between them they will go up in flames. These two couldn’t have been a better fit for each other. She loves love and he wants nothing to do with it. Hayley is one of those sassy characters that you can’t help but fall in love with. And, yes, I may have a wee bit of a crush on her lol. Now Trevor...that man could melt the panties off anyone. Serious swoonage over here. The man only thinks he has his life figured out and I absolutely LOVED how Hayley proves him different. This new series is amazing. Now, bring on PECK! I can’t wait to see what girl brings him to his knees!

Loved it. These books just give me the happy feels! I love this author's writing. She's so good at emotions and characters, the whole thing. I love this town and its people and I can't wait for the next book!

This is book 2 in the Dogwood Lane series and can absolutely be read as a stand alone but since I loved the first book, I recommend reading that one as well! In this one we get Hayley and Trevor's story. Hayley loves everything about love and is just searching for her "one". While Trevor doesn't believe love is real and he doesn't do relationships. But the attraction between them is there, and they decide to spend time together while he is in town. All with a contract.

I loved the first book but I have to say that I think I loved this one even more! Hayley is definitely a sweet character but she has this underlying snark that I loved! They have so much chemistry it just jumps off the page and leaves you wanting more. Trevor may come across as the "bad boy" but he has his own issues to work through and he really is a sweet man. The side characters are absolutely great and even when you are done with the main story, you are left wanting to know more about them. I will definitely be reading more of this series as it comes out!

3.5 stars - This is a good romance that is hampered by the slow telling of the story. It has a slow, meandering start and then it drags again once our H and h have their first date. If you’re an unabridged type of reader, this is will likely be a 4.5 star read for you.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I'm never surprised when Adriana Locke rolls out another FABULOUS small town romance. Haley and Trevor take the cake though...and all the donuts too. They are OFF THE CHARTS HOT!! This is the book I'll be recommending everyone reads. I think this maybe Adriana's best yet. It's small town romance meets big time feels and ALL THE SWOONS!

Trevor freaking Kelly has charisma and spark coming out his ears. Trevor Kelly is EVERYTHING. Just his name rolls so smoothly off your tongue. He's everything you'd look for in a smooth book boyfriend, but he's not looking for love. Get this...he doesn't believe in it. Enter Haley, falls in love at the drop of a dime, a romantic at heart. Trevor's met his match in this firecracker. Their chemistry is like Canada Day fireworks. You can't stop them from lighting up each page. I loved everything about this book!

Another fantastic thing about small towns, lovable characters popping in here and there. Dane, Neely, Penn, and Haley all create an adorable family. Adding just the right amount of spice to the mixture, I was cracking up throughout. I'm jumping up on the couch excited for Tangle. Adriana Locke has knocked it out of the park! Get this book!!

4.5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐💫
I liked Tumble, but I LOVED Tangle! This installment in the Dogwood Lane series was sweet and fun and had all that super cute small town charm.

Haley and Trevor were well rounded, likable main characters and every exchange they shared had me feeling entertained. Their chemistry was perfect and their banter gave me a few good laughs. I simply loved their dynamic and the pace in which their feelings changed and grew was completely believable. I really felt the connection between them and I was pulling for them to get together the whole way through.

Tangle had some interesting side characters as well and I wouldn't be surprised if Ms. Locke has more books planned for this series. I for one will happily revisit the characters of Dogwood Lane again in the future should any more books be released.

If you love small town romance with witty humor and charismatic characters, don't miss out on reading Tangle!

This was such a good read! The writing flowed well from start to finish, and I LOVED Trevor and Haley together. They have great chemistry, and you know from the first time they meet, that it's going to be good! Trevor was upfront with Haley from the start, but I feel like he did lead her on. She practically begged him to abide by her rules, but he pushed her boundaries. I was SO happy to see Haley be able to hold her own though. I got a glimpse of her in Dane's story, and she wasn't the woman she was in this one. She had grown so much as a person. I loved that she knew that it was going to hurt, but that she was going to be okay in the end regardless. The ending was very sweet, and perfect for these two!

Tangle has all of the small-town charm, endearing characters, steamy interludes, lighthearted humor and feel-good romance that you’d expect from Adriana Locke, and reading it reminds me why she is one of my favorite authors. Haley and Trevor meet when he comes to Dogwood Lane to oversee a construction project, and their chemistry is instant and blazing hot. Neither is looking to get involved, especially because Trevor is only in town for a short time, so they settle into a playful, very flirtatious friendship. They’re magnetic as they transition from friends to lovers, and you cannot help but cheer for them every step of the way. Memorable secondary characters provide additional entertainment and warmth and makes Tangle absolutely irresistible. Don’t miss Adriana Locke’s latest.

This is the second book on the series and it's just as good as the first. After getting to know Haley in the first book I was looking forward to her book. I was hooked right from the beginning. Trevor and Haley have a lot of chemistry. There is one problem she believes in love and for ever and he doesn't. That is just a recipe for disaster, but or is it? I really enjoyed the humor in this book. I love the sense of humor the characters have. I also loved catching up with the characters o f the previous book ans see how they're enjoying their HEA. That's one of the reasons I love a series. Trevor sometimes that man makes me want to smack some sense into him, but of course his past has made a big impact on his views of love, but he never thought about what happens when he finds the right woman to love. The epilogue was absolutely perfect and one these two characters deserved.

I am huge fan of all things Adriana Locke. Also, I am a sucker for a small town romance, and the first book in this series was absolutely amazing. So picking this one up was a no-brainer. I am so so glad I did! Adriana delivers an amazingly sweet, fun read full of characters you can't help but love.
Haley is my kind of girl. She is sweet, caring, and quick with the sassy wit that will have you laughing out loud. I could so see myself as her in this story.
Treavor is all the SWOON! I couldn't help but fall for his sweet charm. While at times he frustrated me to no end, I still fell fast and hard for him.
Tangle is my favorite in this series so far. I have a feeling this is one of those series that starts out strong and only gets better as it goes. I can't wait to see what Adriana brings us next!

A book about a girl who falls too hard falling for a man who is set on his ways of not committing but who changes after realizing what love is? This book was right up my alley and I loved it. Haley and Trevor were everything I needed to read right now and I can’t express how much this helped me look at things in a different manner. I haven’t gotten around to reading the first book in the Dogwood series so I jumped into the second without having much backstory on some of the already developed characters but the author wrote this in such a way that I didn’t feel like I was missing out. Although you all should go read both these books, if you want to dive into Tangle first, then feel free to do so!

I love being back in Dogwood Lane. In the first book in the series we meet Haley, and since then I have been curious about her story and what would become of her.
As always Ms. Locke captures you from the very first page and you can't put your kindle/book down. You become engrossed in these characters she creates and you feel everything they feel and experience.
Her words make you laugh, cry, and fall in love.
Haley and Trevor's story is no exception and will have you feeling all the feels. Absolutely a must read!! Love love love!!!

This return to Dogwood Lane is just what I needed to kick off my summer. From the first interaction between Haley and Trevor I knew I was in for a fun and quasi-emotional ride. And Adriana Locke did not let me down one bit.

I adored Haley. She knew what she wanted, for the most part, she just tried to find it in the wrong places. Which lead to her experiencing more than her fair share of heartache. She was taking a break from relationships and doing well with it, until Trevor Kelly walked into the cafe. Whew Trevor! Swoon city with a dimple on the side. Even when he wasn't trying to be, he was so likable. And even when he was being a jerk he was still so dang nice. Ugh!

His wishy-washiness put Haley at a disadvantage because she knew he was the type of guy she could see herself with. She even told him not to string her along because she didn't want her history to repeat itself with him. He agreed but the more Haley pulled back the more Trevor pushed. He couldn't explain why, he just knew he wanted to be near her. And then the unthinkable happened...they both developed feelings. Neither one knew what to do with them and with time working against them they were at an even bigger loss.

Tangle delivered a perfect small-town romance. There was friendship and laughter and family and a lazy dog and donuts. The list of things to love about this book is endless. The Dane and Penn sightings added even more comedy to the pages. But the absolute best thing for me was the romance between Trevor and Haley. It was fun and flirty and proves that when it comes to love, you get to make your own rules.

Tangle is a sweet and sassy treat! I love the small town feels and the exceptional characters! This is a series no romance readers wants to miss!

This is the small town romance of my heart!! I loved this book!! Loved everything about it. It was so easy to lose myself in the fun characters, the witty banter, and the passion. I'm still buzzing by the chemistry between Haley and Trevor. I couldn't get enough.

I'm the kind of girl who falls for the hero easier and faster than the heroine. (I know. I'm smh at myself too.) Not in this case. My girl crush on Haley was almost instantaneous. With all her sass, her kindness, and her realness, I wish she was my bff. She is my new favorite Adriana Locke heroine.

Of the two books in the Dogwood Lane series so far, Tangle is my favorite!! If you want a cute and sexy small town romance that will not want to put down than I highly recommend picking this one up.

I'd give this book 6 stars, just for the witty banter! The chemistry between Trevor and Haley is undeniable, but they're definitely from two different worlds. I loved every minute of this story, and will never look at a napkin the same way again!

WOW! Just Wow! I have read almost every one of Adriana Locke’s books and Tangle just blew me away. The writing is brilliant, characters are authentic and the story line is captivating. Adriana knows how to write small town romance and with this book she proved herself to excellent in crafting a story that builds with anticipation only to dent your heart with emotions, before giving you an HEA that fills your heart with feels and your mind with happiness.

I loved this book! To me Adriana knocked it out of the park again. Tangle is about Haley, Danes cousin from book 1, and Trevor. Haley is an all in kinda girl, wants the white picket fence and 2.5 kids and Prince Charming to go along with it, but she’s given her heart to loser and has gotten stomped on so now she is on a man/dating hiatus. Trevor is in town to check on things at the construction site where his dad is moving to. Trevor also does not believe in love. When sparks and banter fly with these two at first meeting, Haley and Trevor try to keep their distance but they just can’t. Can Haley keep her heart to herself? Can Trevor believe in forever love? Read on and find out!

Tangle is the second book in the Dogwood Lane series by the ever so talented, Adriana Locke. It can be read as standalone but I do recommend reading Tumble since it was amazing. And if you did, then you have met Haley, Dane’s cousin, nanny and romantic.

Haley loves love and that is exactly why she agreed to her cousin’s ridiculous bet. No dating for six months. She has been going strong for close to two months. That was until he walked in and stole her donut. Trevor Kelly aka Thief. Trevor didn’t believe in love. He didn’t want anything to do with it. He didn’t understand how someone would want to be with just one person for the rest of their life. They knew how the other felt after just a few run-ins. They knew they should stay away from each other but what is the fun in that, right?

Totally! And it is so much fun! Haley and Trevor make a deal. A deal guaranteed to work if they follow all the rules. Trevor is only in town for one week working on his father’s new home in Dogwood Lane. And in that week he only has a few plans. To finish up with the home. To now assist his new friend in writing a resume. And lastly, to not make Haley Raynor fall in love with him. It should be easy enough. It’s only one week and he doesn’t want her to fall. He doesn’t want her heart and he definitely doesn’t want to break it. So he will obey her rules. That is until they cross the line...

Omfg! I loved this book! Hard. It might even be my favorite Adriana book and that says a lot. I have read all of them. I loved their banter. It was flirty, dirty, sweet, and so much fucking fun. I fell for Trevor on first sight. He got her. There was an instant attraction between them and it was the best. They didn’t know each other but they seemed like they did. They just clicked. Both smart asses who were trying to figure out what was next up in their lives.

Overall...it’s my favorite Adriana book. It’s hilarious, sexy, and fun. It had it all. I fell hard for the characters. The story. Their personal journeys. The torture they felt and the emotions. I can not wait for Penn’s book!

P.S. I thought it was awesome to see my name and also my brother’s in the book. That was a first to have us both. Lol

Quotes:

“Are you finished?” he asks.
I zip a line from his boots to his face. “What do you mean?”
“I don’t want to walk out of here until you’ve finished appreciating me.” He grins. “If you’re done, I do need to go.”

“It must suck to be so jaded about love.”
“Or maybe it sucks to be so naive about it?”

“I knocked,” he says immediately.
“Good boy, Penn,” Neely says, patting him on the head. “Do you want a cookie?”
“Yes, please.”
