All of the Lovely Pieces is a really good domestic thriller. It makes you wonder what lengths you would go through to save yourself and your son. The only thing I didn't really like is how it ended even though it is a logical ending. I honestly just felt bad for Drew.
I really loved this book. The suspense was t just the right level. Couldn't put it down. Dawn left her abusive husband nine years before to try to make a life for her son. She never stays in the same place for very long. She never plans to, at least. When she does finally stop moving she cannot stop feeling the eyes watching her, following her. Not knowing exactly what happened her last night in the captivity of her husband, she looks for the truth.
For the most part, we jump back and forth between the point of view of Drew and of Catherine. Occasionally we see through the eyes of Michael, Drew's son. Nobody here knows the whole truth so we learn it along with them. Unflinching and scary. Thank you for the ARC. I will recommend.
All the Lovely Pieces is a well-written book. I must include that it comes with a few triggers. You could feel the anxiety and fear through the words.
An abusive spouse, a decade long run from him, constant fear, a lot happens in this book.
Nonetheless it was a gripping read.
Again, there are triggers, please choose wisely.
Loved this book, it was gripping throughout. It was great to see the character pulled in different direction, and to have to make choices for their safety but also a normal life. It’s all about doing whatever it needs to protect your child. Extremely well written.

All the Lovely Pieces is a fast paced thriller that keep me on the edge of my seat from the first page until the last. Told from the viewpoints of Drew, Catherine, and Michael. We do not get the viewpoint of Adam, but all of his actions throughout the book are enough . This story took me on one heck of a intense, emotional roller coaster ride. Once I started this book I could not put it down. Having suffered from domestic violence myself there was times I had to stop and take a breath before I continued. There were so many twists and turns as we step into Drew's world as she goes on the run from her husband with her baby son. I'm not a big fan of books that go back and forth from present to past. However with this book they were done perfect and very needed . The flashbacks to the past were a great way for us to see just how horrific it was for Drew while she was living with Adam, ( her crazy multibillionaire husband who turned out to be a very crazy abusive psychopath.
All the Lovely Pieces is the debut psychological thriller written by the name J.M. Winchester. However this same author "Jennifer Snow" writes contemporary romance books. So a book like this was a big jump for her. And I must say she nailed it ! You feel every emotion of the characters as you turn the pages. All of the scenes were perfectly described. It was easy to feel as if you were right there in the middle of all of it. I highly recommend this exciting thrilling , dark psychological-thriller. Many thanks to the Publisher , the Author , and NetGalley for a ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. If you have Kindle unlimited you can find this book on there right now.

This was slow in my opinion then it picked up half way through. It was an enjoyable read after with some good twists and turns.
Thank you netgalley for the opportunity to read this
For nine years, Drew Baker as been on the run from her highly abusive husband and the darkness that is her past. Her only interest in life is keeping her son Michael safe.
When she settles into a little town she is eager to find proof of her husbands dark deeds so she can stop running and finally settle down.
If only she could fully remember the one night that changed her life. Maybe then she wouldn’t have to look over her shoulder worried that the police are coming to separate her and her son.
When the unexpected happens and her son is taken from her, Drew must fight to save him and herself from the demons of her past.
This book was really interesting. I truly enjoyed the different perspectives that we got to see with each chapter. I did find it a touch predictable but that didn’t cause me to like it any less. I could really feel Drew’s anxiety and fear which was great.
I would definitely recommend this one!
I received a copy of this in exchange for my honest review. Thank you NetGalley.

2 stars.
This wasn't as good as I was hoping it would be. I felt there was far too much focus on 'romance' (if that's what it's classed as.) So I took a star off for that reason. I also didn't like how some chapters seemed to jump ahead by so much time. It kinda made it feel like chunks were missing. I also didn't like the characters that much. What I did like though was having Michael, the son, have a voice and be one of the narrators in this story. I also did like the story overall for the most part. While I wouldn't recommend this, I do understand that others have really enjoyed this so for that reason I'd recommend listening to your own voice and give it a go if it sounds like something you would enjoy, but from me, this was a miss.
Liked this book alot as it kept me try to think what I would do in the same situation...Liked the characters but wanted everyone to see the evil in the bad ones. Thought it was a great read and couldn't put it down until it was over.
This was such an amazing read that I couldn’t put it down. It went everywhere with me. To the doctors office, the dentist, the eye doctor. IT WENT ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE. I was so sad when it ended that I immediately went and bought more books from this author!
As a mom, the only thing you want to is protect your children. It should be your priority. This is what Drew did. She protected her son from her abusive husband. In order to do that, she went on the run with her son and tried to stay in the shadows and not be noticed. All to save the life of her son and she will stop at nothing to make that happen.............Edging, gripping, thrilling...This was a fantastic read! I would recommend this to anyone who loves thrillers.
I was given an ARC from NetGalley in return for an honest review.
ALL OF THE LOVELY PIECES
BY J. M. WINCHESTER
This was one terrific rollercoaster ride of suspense and it was chilling at the same time. The writing flowed perfectly and once you start this you will have to clear your schedule as you won't want to stop reading. I will be thinking of this one for a long time. I was hooked after the first chapter and didn't want to put it down until I finished it. Highly recommended. I loved it. I am still thinking about it and may come back and update my review.
Thank you to Net Galley and J.M. Winchester and Thomas & Mercer for providing me with my ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review. All opinions are my own.
Drew is on the run from her abusive husband. This psychological thriller is dark and twisty and will have you sleeping with the lights on. The twisted journey to tell this story is one I haven’t seen done in this manner before. Grab this book and settle in for a read.
5 stars: 5/5 stars
What a fascinating story this is! A true mystery and drama as well. I like the way the characters' stories rotate and it was not confusing to me to read them that way at all. There were only a few main characters and it was easy to figure out who was talking (each chapter was labeled by character, but they were easily recognizable). This story kept me on the edge of my seat and had me eager for more!
I would love to see a sequel to this one! Hint ! Hint!
I received a digital version of this book from netgalley and Thomas & Mercer in exchange for my honest review. I was not required to write a positive review and all opinions expressed are my own.
I couldn't really get in to the story. The most impressive voice in this book is the one of Michael. But still it wasn't as enjoyable as I hoped it would be. Still a three star read and I'd encourage everyone to give it a try.
My main issues with this book were all character related. Honestly, I didn't feel any connection to any of them...even Drew, the wife and mother who is on the run from her psychopath and abusive husband Adam for many years, failed to incite any sympathy. Also, I kept wondering why did Adam specifically pick Drew for his twisted 'experiment' which all began by him chauffeuring her from the airport as part of their first meeting (considering he is the billionaire tycoon for whom Drew's father works)?
It's terrifying that people like Adam exist...terrifying!
My thanks to NetGalley, publishers Thomas and Mercer and the author J.M. Winchester for providing me with an e-ARC.
Interesting thriller with good pacing and a good plot. I thought the thriller aspects could have been more suspenseful or unpredictable but otherwise I enjoyed the read.

I don't think this book was spectacular at all but I do think it had a TON of potential. It would take me days to explain all of the different directions that this book could have taken. DAYS! But, this short review will just have to do.
First of all: All of the characters involved in this story were just very underwhelming and lacked so much potential and development. Every single one of them. It was like the author focused so much on the events and the plot of the story that she forgot that every story has to have depth-filled characters. Or even just characters in general. They didn't jump out at me and they weren't very memorable.
Second: When I read about domestic violence I don't like to read about underwhelming characters. They have to be interesting. I don't like to read about it being romanticized and I don't like reading about it when the author adds in things for dramatic affects. All The Lovely Pieces marked off every single one of those things that I listed above. Bummer.
I feel as if the plot could have been very engaging. Ultimately, it had a lot to offer and with the right structured characters I think it could have gotten way more interest from me. Sadly-- the characters and story-line as a whole were just very underwhelming. Not at all what I was expecting when I picked this book up.
ALL THE LOVELY PIECES by J.M. Winchester (aka Jennifer Snow) is a masterfully thrilling suspense that explores the darker secretive side of domestic abuse. This new writing venture has produced a marvelous work. Highly recommended 5-star read.
