After reading some heavier material, I am often in the mood for something lighter. Bad Day at the Vulture Club fit my mood very well as an amuse bouche of a book. The novel is a well written mystery featuring an Indian detective and his charming baby elephant companion and actually sent me scurrying to Wikipedia for some background information on the Parsee of India, a sect apart from the better known Hindi, around whom the mystery exists.

An excellent addition to the series.An engaging read this is another involving multi layered tense at times highly recommend.#netgalley # hodderstoughton.
