JP Wynn is the bad boy of hockey and family but when he meets Taylor Hart maybe he can change his ways.
The Wynn Family is Hockey Royalty and you have to live up to all the hype finding your way can be difficult and also being hard on yourself is easy. Taylor Hart is a great woman she loves her job, her family, her friends but when unexpected circumstances has her rethinking it all can JP be the one to help her or hurt her.
JP & Taylor will go on a rollercoaster of emotions trying to decide if being together is worth it all or being alone is better.

JP a great Hockey player known for his crazy ways. We meet him when in book one and I worried I would not like him since he took his brothers girl friend! However is this book we get to know him trying to redeem himself. Taylor is good for him and they learn that attraction is more than just a hot night. Good story - looking forward to the next one!

Kelly Jamieson is a new to me author and I didn't realize this was the second book in the series. I will need to go back and read the first one now. I really enjoyed the story, even not knowing much about hockey. Bad boy JP is trying to be a better man to earn respect from his family, and Taylor is a hot bridesmaid at his brothers wedding that he falls for. Loved the play between both characters, can't wait to read book 3!

Play to Win had me wanting a sequel right after I was finished reading it. My expectations were pretty high for In It to Win It, but I wasn't disappointed at all. Kelly Jamieson gave me everything I wanted and more in this sequel.

We get a glimpse of JP in the first book and he's not painted as the best character. It seems he stole his brother's girlfriend (that's not completely the case, but people judge him for it). He's a typical bad boy and even though in many cases he's not as bad as people seems, JP lets people blame him for things. He's so hard on himself even if an incident isn't his fault. JP is trying to change his image though even if he's his biggest judge.

Taylor is a character we also met in Play to Win. I liked Taylor. She's really down to earth. Taylor just graduated college and is getting her career started. I loved how dedicated she was to the kids she's helping. It's important to be passionate about your work and she definitely is. Taylor faces some unpleasant surprises with her family and has to deal with a lot in this book and process what is happening. She loses her faith in love, but can JP change that?

The instant chemistry between JP and Taylor was amazing. Sparks were flying! I can say one thing, this author knows how to write some steamy scenes! She knows what she's doing. There are definitely some bumps along the way, but I loved that JP really wanted nothing more than to get to know Taylor and be with her. Even if his biggest obstacle was himself. I loved reading about them finding their way to each other. The only thing that bugged me was Taylor settling for a guy she had no feelings for. She made things so much harder at times because of that.

On top of the amazing romance, we get more information about the Wynn family drama. This family is complicated, but that made it pretty interesting. What I loved the most is even though it's clear so much is going on, it didn't take over the story. The author does this in a balanced way that only adds to the story in a positive way. She definitely set some stuff up for the next book that makes me excited.

If you're looking for a book with amazing characters, steamy romance, humor, family drama and that leaves a smile on your face, definitely pick up In It to Win It.

D0 yourself a favor and buy this book and then buy the one before it. Kelly Jamieson has really become a new favorite author for me. This is the second book in the Wynn series and it revolves around JP and Taylor. We are introduced to them in the first book but this book goes in depth and really gives us a different perspective on JP. We are introduced to JP and Taylor at Lacey and Theo's wedding. JP and Theo are brothers and Lacey and Taylor are best friends. Of course, JP and Taylor hook up but the chaos that ensues is so entertaining.
We see a different side of JP in this book and really get an idea of how he feels and what kind of man he really is. Taylor has hang ups from having her family broken up. The twist with that was not predictable at all.
Although JP and Taylor get together, the author takes us on a journey to discover why JP acts the way he does, how he is trying to make it right and why he feels that he doesn't deserve love.
I really liked this book. It was nice to see recurring characters and find out where their journeys have taken them. There are steamy scenes that do not disappoint. I laughed. I got angry at some parts but most of all, I became invested in these characters and would love to see if they show up again.

In It To Win It, is the second title in the Wynn Hockey series, this time featuring JP and Taylor.

The Wynn Family has a complicated dynamic and their relationships and interactions are fraught with drama.

JP Wynn is an impulsive, cocky and competitive bad boy, with a heart of gold. He’s quite vulnerable, and overly critical of himself, yet he has a compassionate, caring and sweet side. He’s not perfect, and is quite aware of his faults.

I had mixed feelings in regard to Taylor. In some ways she’s very mature for her age, and in other’s she’s immature, her lack of ability to communicate at times frustrated me a bit.

The chemistry between this pair is undeniable, and their love scenes are not only intense but passionate, and full of heat and steam.

If you love a hockey romance with some family drama thrown in check out the Wynn Hockey series.

JP Wynn is known as the bad boy of hockey, but he's trying to change his reputation. Taylor is recovering from a bad relationship with Manny Martinez, another bad boy hockey player, who left her to move out of state without even a goodbye. When JP and Taylor meet at the rehearsal dinner for JP's brother Theo's wedding, sparks fly and they spend the night together. At the wedding the next day, Manny starts a fight with JP over Taylor and she flees, leaving JP feeling like he's been the bad boy once again by starting a relationship with another man's girl. Taylor and JP can't stay apart long, since she's Theo's new wife, Lacey's best friend and they spend quite a bit of time as a foursome. Will those original sparks reignite? Can the bad boy change and become a loving boyfriend? Can Taylor see his changes?

Hot, hot, hot! And steamy! The chemistry between Taylor and JP is electric, but also sweet and tender. Both characters are extremely lovable and you cheer for them to succeed in their relationship. If you love hockey, like I do, and a lot of romance, you will love this book as much as I did.

This is the first book I've read by Kelly Jamieson and it will not be my last! I didn't read the first book and completely picked up on what was happening or had happened. JP is a "bad boy" and has to redeem himself, not only to his family but to his team as well. I loved that he was willing to change and that Taylor helped with that. She was not his sole reasoning but the "friendship" they developed from both of their struggles made him want to be better. I adored this couple and can't wait to read more from Kelly!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher, for this free review copy.

I really enjoyed In It to Win It, and once again, Kelly Jamieson knows how to write a hockey romance. 👏 I loved getting to know more about JP and hoe he truly is a good guy. After reading some crap about him in Play to Win, I was glad he got his own story, and some things were cleared up.

Taylor and JP meet at Theo's wedding, and they hit it off right away. There is a ton of chemistry between these two, and they don't let it stop there. They were made for each other! They both have a lot to figure out, and to decide what they both want out of this relationship. I won't go too far into details, as I don't want to give anything away.

Kelly Jamieson is one of my favorite authors, and I haven't read a bad book yet! They are always hard to put down for me, and enjoyable. Give her a try, and I promise you will not be disappointed! 🏒

JP is the bad boy of the Wynn family. His wrong choices have affected not only his personal life but his career. He is determined to stay out of trouble. Then he meets Taylor, a bridesmaid at Theo’s wedding. Taylor knows about JP and his reputation. But that doesn’t stop her from hooking up with him at Theo and Lacey’s wedding. It also doesn’t stop her from being surprised when her ex attacks him during a dance. She has enough on her plate without having to deal with a bad boy. She is determined to avoid him. But fate won’t allow that. Taylor and JP are thrown into situations that require them to be together. Will they have their happily ever after? Or with JP’s temper and bad choices drive Taylor away?

I wasn’t too sure if I liked JP when the book started. He was cocky, and he went after Taylor. When he got into the fight with Manny, I did an eye roll. It was typical of how he was portrayed in Play to Win. Then the author did something I wasn’t expected. She started turning JP into a character that I began to sympathize with. He was wracked with guilt over what happened between him and Theo. He was trying to keep his temper in check. His character growth throughout the book was terrific. By the end of the book, I loved him.

Taylor, I didn’t like. She used JP to make her ex jealous and then got mad when JP defended himself. She was judgey about him. There were parts of the book where I was eye-rolling and thinking to myself “Seriously? What does he see in her?” I did feel bad for her when her parents separated. But when she snooped and had that confrontation with her mother, I was horrified. Her character had almost no growth throughout the book. I did think that JP could have done better than her.

Even though I didn’t like Taylor, I felt that she and JP had major sexual chemistry and sexual attraction. The scenes leading up to them having sex (at the beginning of the book) were smoking hot. The quickie they had during the wedding was amazing. The author then cut the sex off and built up that sexual tension, which made for a fantastic sex scene when they finally went at it.

The end of In It to Win It was satisfying. I liked how everything fell into place for JP and Taylor (even if I couldn’t stand them). The author did a great job of wrapping up their storyline as well as a couple of the secondary ones. I also liked how the author set up Everly and Wyatt’s story. Which I can’t wait to read!!

I would give In It to Win It an Adult rating. There is sex. There is language. There is mild violence. I would recommend that no one under the age of 21 read this book.

I would reread In It to Win It. I would recommend it to family and friends.

JP Wynn is the perennial hockey bad-boy and his penchant for fighting has him in a bit of hot water. Determined to stay out of trouble and turn things around, he really tries to make better choices. But bad just seems to follow this bad boy.

Taylor Hart was drawn into the hockey player circle through her friendship with Lacey, JP's sister-in-law, but she's put off a bit when the guy she'd been seeing gets traded and leaves her in the dust without a word. In comes JP Wynn, who sets her blood on fire but then screws everything up beginning with a brawl at a wedding, Taylor swears off all hockey players.

But the night JP and Taylor shared just isn't forgotten and JP has it bad for Taylor. He's persistent, I'll give him that! She plays hard to get, but she really wants him too. A change in living arrangements and her dog help move their relationship forward.

Everyone is happy until JP's new and better attitude is tested by Taylors ex again, and everything crashes down. It takes his brother Theo to knock some sense into him.

I enjoyed this second book in the Wynn hockey series from Kelly Jamieson. There's something intriguing about this family that keeps me interested in this series. JP and Taylor were very good together, both in and out of the bedroom, and their conflicts are quickly resolved and it's full steam ahead to the HEA. But the real magic in this series for me is the crazy family dynamic. Looking forward to more of the Wynn family!

JP is a good bad boy. He is a good boy at heart but his certain decisions have given him a bad boy reputation. A reputation he is trying to change. There doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with being attracted to and hooking up with Taylor at his brothers wedding. But when Manny jumps on him it changes his decision, and he decides he doesn’t want anything to do with Taylor anymore. But attraction between them has a different idea.
In it to win it was a fun read with a healthy dose of some emotional situations. And I really liked the way the relationship between Taylor and JP progressed, a friendship that was interspersed with some sexy times. I also enjoyed catching up with previous characters and getting a glimpse of the next book to come.

Second book of Kelly Jamieson’s Wynn Hockey series is here :) For the ones who are not familiar with the series, Wynn family is a hockey dynasty. The Wynn family is full of drama and all members of the family are involved with hockey one way or another. First book of the series was ‘Play to Win’ it was Theo and Lacey’s family and thanks to them we get to know the main characters in this book as well. This book is featuring Wynn family’s bad boy Jean Paul, aka JP, Wynn and Taylor Hart, best friend of Lacey.

I hated JP on the first book; because he stole his brother’s girlfriend and kept acting like a cocky asshole. However, after reading JP’s interaction with Lacey and Theo at the end of the first book, I start wondering if the bad boy persona is just a show he puts for the world to see. After the whole stealing his brother’s girlfriend debacle, he is determined to stay away from taken women and all the trouble that comes with it. However, thanks to Taylor and her ex Manny, this determination went down the drain on Theo and Lacey’s wedding. Even though, Taylor is not with Manny anymore when Manny attacks JP, everyone thinks ‘OMG! He did it again.’ He always takes responsibility for his bad behaviors and even though they always have reasoning behind his actions, nobody questions it. In everyone’s eyes it is always because JP is a bad boy. For the first in his life instead of his behavior, someone looks at the reasoning behind his actions. My heart ached for him because of the way he constantly beats himself up when he makes mistakes and he is the one, who cannot forgive himself. As for Taylor, she annoyed the shit out of me. The things she was going through is not easy but the way she acted was annoying in so many ways. They are a perfect match and it was amazing to see how they both grow through the book, realized their flaws and work on them. Of course, just like the first book there is a bit of a Wynn family drama as well but it was nice to see JP’s point of view on the issue, as well as family members.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. JP and Taylor’s story was captivating, heartwarming, sweet and sexy. I hope we will get a chance to see more of JP and Taylor in the future books. Also, since the first book I am really curious about Everly Wynn and guess what next book in the series ‘Win Big’ is Everly and sexy hockey player Wyatt Bell’s story. It will be release on October 1st and I cannot wait the get my hand on it :)

Would I recommend this book: Yes.
Would I re-read this book: Yes.
Would I read future books by this author: Yes.

J P Wynn is the person who the family calls the screw up. He has listened to it for so long that he actually believes it. What no one sees is the real J P. He is passionate about hockey and that drives how he treats people. You don't get to mess with the ones he cares about. Enter Taylor Hart. She is a bridesmaid at Lacey & Theo's wedding. From the moment they meet, sparks are flying. Taylor has a big heart. She works with kids who have speech problems. She is also trying to convince Lacey and everyone else that love and marriage are not for her. So she has put the one person who sets her soul on fire into the friend category. While J P is dog sitting Byron, Taylor's four legged friend, they really get to know each other. Neither can admit that it is more till the Wynn family gets involved. You will love the ending!

IN IT TO WIN IT is the second instalment in Kelly Jamieson’s contemporary, adult WYNN HOCKEY erotic, romance hockey series focusing on the Wynn family hockey dynasty, owners and operators of the NHL’s California Condors, and the Long Beach Golden Eagles. This is twenty-six year old, Long Beach Golden Eagles, professional hockey player Jean Paul ‘JP’ Wynn, and twenty-four year old speech pathologist Taylor Hart’s story line. IN IT TO WIN IT can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (JP and Taylor) IN IT TO WIN IT follows the acrimonious relationship between twenty six year old, Long Beach Golden Eagles professional hockey player Jean Paul ‘JP’ Wynn, and twenty-four year old speech pathologist Taylor Hart. JP’s brother Theo married his sweetheart Lacey Olson but a one-night stand between JP and Taylor Hart resulted in a dance floor brawl between JP and Taylor’s former beau, a brawl that left JP struggling to understand what went wrong and why. Believing he once again found himself in a relationship with a woman already spoken for, JP goes on the defensive when Taylor refuses to admit what happened or why. Weeks to months will pass where JP and Taylor will cross paths, paths that will soon lead to a second chance at romance and love. What ensues is the building relationship between Taylor and JP, and the potential fall-out when Taylor reveals the truth about the night where everything went all to h*ll.

JP Wynn struggles with both his on and off ice persona; a reputation as a man-whore who ‘stole’ his brother’s girlfriend, recent events place JP back in the dog house with his family, his teammates and the woman with whom he had hoped to see again. Taylor Hart’s life is about to spiral out of control but her on-again, off-again friendship slash relationship with JP Wynn is threatened by the secrets she keeps hidden to herself. When a former boyfriend discovers the relationship between JP and Taylor, JP finds himself targeted for sins of the past.

The relationship between JP and Taylor is one of immediate attraction but JP’s reputation precedes his introduction to our story line heroine. Taylor battles between head and heart as she struggles to forget about the man with whom she will fall in love. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate and intense, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We are once again, reintroduced to the large extended and slightly dysfunction Wynn family including Theo and Lacey;Grandpa Bob Wynn, and coach /uncle Mark Wynn.

IN IT TO WIN IT is a story of family, secrets, lies and revelations. The premise is engaging and captivating; the characters are charismatic and colorful; the romance is seductive but Taylor’s puzzling actions hurt our hero more than once but several times over.

In It to Win it is a fun and entertaining romance, the 2nd book in the series and about the 179th hockey romance by Jamieson. (Maybe not that many but she has written a lot of great hockey romances.)

Both Theo and Taylor (our couple) are likable people from the start. Theo seems a little bit shifty at first, but he's likable from the beginning of the book. It took me a while to see why Theo and Taylor really belonged together, but I did eventually. Theo is a hard character to take seriously at first, because he just seems like such a playa frat boy type. (Spoiler) He actually is a solid guy when you need him.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys contemporary romance.

The guy that everyone loves to hate proves he's even more of a screwup when it comes to love. In It to Win It should be called attack of the romance disaster. JP and Taylor leave chaos in their wake, everytime they cross paths. Jamieson thrusts two accident prone hearts in the middle of a nuclear, attraction and drama ensues. Can the king and queen of heartache, be a match made in heaven? Taylor and JP keep the senses at full alert with their overexcitable antics. There's never a dull moment with this unpredictable duo.

I knew this book would be angsty! In the first book of the series, Play to Win, we get introduced to the chaos that is the Wynn family. It paints a pretty crappy picture of JP, who is the main character in this book, and it made me eager to learn what the real story is. I think something that makes Kelly Jamieson's books intriguing is the realness of the characters. There were times I didn't like the characters because of the choices they made. On the other hand, Jamieson does a great job at giving you back story so you understand why the characters do what they do. She's also great at chemistry! I mean the chemistry between JP and Taylor is sizzling good. I would definitely recommend this book to readers that love sport romance with a lot of ups and downs. The rocky journey makes the ending so much better!

I enjoyed JP's story much better than Theo's in the first book.
JP was the bad boy and "villain" in Theo's story and Kelly jumped right into JP's life seamlessly.
I'm excited to see which Wynn gets picked for the next book!
