Cant wait to read this. the one chapter I read has me pinning for more. I just finished project duchess so I got A insight in Wolfe and Gwen.
Had I known this was only an excerpt, I would have read it right away!
Length aside, I’m really intrigued by the story. I liked the idea of beginning with blackmail, and the chemistry between Gwyn and Joshua seems strong.
Only got the first chapter. Was interesting and would love to read the rest. Everything was set up in the first chapter, the problem and the solution with the help of a interesting character.
This is only the first chapter, so I can't critique the story, but it sounds like it's going to be great!!
I absolutely adore historical romance and this was such a fun ride of a book! Great chemistry, great pacing and sizzling romance. Love it!
This is an excerpt so it is hard to know. The first chapter sounds interesting. Heroine is being blackmailed over an affair she had and hid from everyone.
I can't wait for the entire book to be released. Wont give a five star without reading the whole thing - but what I read has whet my appetite for more!
I loved this book!! This is the second book I read from this author and loved! Historical Fiction is my favorite genre and this book is one reason why!!
The excerpt is long enough to give an idea to the reader as to how the rest of the book will be. Personally I ended up thinking that the book would be for me, even though I love Sabrina Jeffries books. For the begging of a story, I found it good enough.
Intriguing! I’d love to read the rest of it. Sabrina Jeffries never fails to draw you into her books.
The second story in this series is as fascinating as the first. Sabrina Jeffries write about strong women who knows their minds and pursues their goals relentlessly. Gwyn knows what she wants is Major Wolfe and sets out to snag him.as danger lurks he comes to her rescue and find she suits him just fine.
I didn't realize this was just an excerpt when I requested it -- and that was a big disappointment to me. I was already sold on reading the book, but this 'teaser' certainly confirmed my desire to read the book.
I am so looking forward to the continuation of this series. In this sneek peak of the first chapter, Lady Gwyn Drake agrees to meet with Captain L. Malet, whom she was captivated with during her youth. He threatens blackmail, unless she pays him fifty guineas; however, Gwyn is determined not to agree to his demands. Yet when he steals the pistol of her brother, the Duke of Thornstock, she is relieved to find Major Wolfe, by her side.
Joshua Wolfe, works as the estate's gamekeeper, yet as the brother-in-law to Thornstock, he is almost family. Gwyn is obviously attracted to Major Wolfe, and it seems that this romance will be an interesting one.
Can't wait until its publication!
I received an ARC of chapter 1, from NetGalley, to review.
I didn't realize this was just the first chapter. I loved the interaction between Gwyn and Joshua. I can't wait to read the whole thing!
This was an amazing book and a good start for a new series the duke dynasty. I have been a fan for several years and I keep enjoying all of her characters. Sabrina Jeffries is great at coming up with a story. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Gwyn and Joshua. I can't wait for the next book of the series.
This was a sneak peek at the first chapter of The Bachelor by Sabrina Jeffries. This is book 2 in the Duke Dynasty series. I have to say I am already hooked and ready to read this book. Jeffries is an amazing writer. She blends her characters so well into Regency London. I am looking forward to reading the entire book.
The excerpt left me wanting for more! Can’t wait to find out what will happen between Lady Gwyn and Joshua Wolfe.
An enjoyable excerpt! Wanted to read more.
Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for my ARC. All opinions are my own.
Oh my Goodness!
This is just the first chapter! And what a first chapter it was! I highley recommend this chapter and cant wait for the books release.
This was a tantalising glimpse at the next in the Duke Dynasty series. I am eagerly anticipating getting the chance to read it in its entirety.
