Warric Evers has lived a cursed half-life ever since his mother made a deal with the devil to save him from sickness a century before. Outcast among vampires, a predator among humans, only the skies offer freedom. But when a skirmish leaves him injured, he needs a source of blood--and fast--if he's to take flight again. And his tracking skills have led him squarely to Sunny Rowan--more crucially, the immunoglobulin she injects for her failing immune system, distilled from the blood of so many healthy people, more potent than any other prey's blood would be. Sunny Rowan thought her biggest problem was her life-threatening medical condition--but she's wrong.
This was a great story. It was such a different take on anything I was expecting. It covered topics that aren’t covered in many books. I really loved both main characters. I look forward to reading more from this author. I highly recommend.

Warric and Sunny, two lonely souls that cross each other's path in an unconventional manner. Both vampires in their own way, one alive and one dead. The story follows them as they rediscover who they are and how they can help each other heal wounds they did not know they had. A different romance with some violence, a wealth of medical knowledge, and a look into the world of being a camgirl. You will not be disappointed and will look for other stories within this series.
This book is polarizing. It is very different from most paranormal books because the difference seems to be secondary or even tertiary. There is so much going on in the story that it is challenging. The characters are multifaceted and can’t be categorized easily. This is not a book to take to the beach for an easy escape. Read it when you have time and want to get lost into this world.
Very interesting book, took me a bit to get into it but it was worth it! A definite A + read, give the book a try!!!!!
Well that was just not as great as I was hoping for. It’s a bit romance but more so drama... not really my thing. The characters were well written, but the storyline was a bit to somber and slow. You felt like any moment it was going to capture you, but for me it never came.

Honestly, this book was so much more than I was expecting. I went into this thinking it would be another romance fantasy book with vampires. But honestly, the fantasy part played such a back seat role.
This book's focus was primarily on two things: disability and mental health
It delves deep into the struggle of people that society often leaves by the wayside. Whether its a discussion of income, the sigma behind chronic illness and mental health issues, interpersonal relationships - familial or otherwise, this book tackles it carefully all in a way that feels both relevant and appropriate.
The romance between the main leads, along their journey to understand both themselves and each is a beautiful one. In general, I enjoy my books more fast-paced and filled with action. But that is not the sort of book this is. This book is more of a slow and steady path down the lazy river, which worked well for this particular story. It is definitely different than the books I am used to reading, but I enjoyed it.
Disclaimer this book also contains mentions/discussions of ableism, sex work, sexual assault, suicidal ideation, LGBTQIA+ experiences, and medical trauma
I appreciated all of the heavy content and character development. It was unlike any other vampire story I had read before. I felt that it was very cohesive as a multi-author series.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. What a great book , I really enjoyed it. Highly recommend to everyone.
Blood Cry is a unique vampire book that is interesting and entertaining. It has interesting and well developed characters. A good storyline and I would read more by this author.
An original take on vampire and mate books. A couple struggling with issues like rejection, illness and loneliness. Another interesting read showing living with disability and very well done. This isn’t all light and fluffy magic, it’s harsh reality and a great thought provoking read for a vampire book.
