This first chapter was such a tease! Looking forward to reading the whole story to find out what happens.

I’m glad I only got one chapter of this from Netgalley which saves everyone a lot of time if the book is not for me. All opinions are my own and I gave a honest review.
Such a tease! I already love Meg, even with just one chapter. I love the way she talks and thinks about hand lettering, it’s clear she is very knowledgeable and talented. Reid doesn’t say much yet, but I’m very curious about him, and very much looking forward to the whole book! It’s top of my list now!
I've only been provided the first chapter but so far so good. I can't wait to read the rest! Thank you NetGalley for the advanced ARC Chapter 1.

I only have the blurb to review but it has everything I didn't know I wanted: Instagram=imprisoned hand letterer heroine and mathematician hero. I'm a secret hoarder of pens and notebooks - I saw mentions of my beloved Micron and Staedtler pens and I was gone. January 2020 can't come fast enough.
Thank you NetGalley for teasing me with this fantastic excerpt.
Oh no, I wish this was the whole book rather than just the first chapter. Can’t wait for the rest (please!)
A bit slow. Only had the first chapter to read. Received advance chapter by NetGalley. Did peek my interest.
Consider me intrigued! This excerpt of Love Lettering definitely left me wanting to read more! In this first chapter we're given a glimpse of Meg's life and there seems to be drama on the horizon...
So far, only the first chapter is available but, I am absolutely in love. This book is incredibly captivating and the references have completely drawn me in. I have always been fascinated with hand-lettering and I love a good planner. The details Kate Clayborn uses make me feel like I want to bust out a new notebook and start doodling. I can’t wait to read the rest of this book.
I've only been able to read the short preview of Love Lettering. It was great, very interesting. I can't wait to read the rest.
Love Lettering by Kate Clayborn is an unusual and charming love story set in the present time in New York city.
I got to read only the first chapter which has really piqued my interest.
I find the style of writing unusual and different.
Meg has a great talent for hand lettering and has become quite successful and sought after, with the rich and demanding clientele. She reaches her success by doing hand made wedding invitation,
One particular couple particularly interested her and she had done something horrible.
She knew they were going to break up and she let the groom know.
Now he is back and wants to know how she could possibly know what would happen.
Too short to form a firm opinion but as I said it has definitely captured my attention. I feel that it could develop to be an excellent story.
This excerpt reads like long form poetry. The language is what first pulls the reader in, and the intrigue of the premise will keep them reading.
Cute excerpt from the book that definitely left me wanting to read more! I can't wait to read the whole thing!
Great preview, can't wait to read the rest, but Kate Clayborn is one of the best new voices of Contemporary Romance so I'm sure it will be excellent.
I enjoyed this first chapter and was instantly drawn in. I can't wait to read the rest of Meg and Reid's story when it comes out; the concept is so intriguing and I connected with the protagonist straight away. I predict a cosy, 'can't help but love it' read.
I didn't realize I was getting just an excerpt. I was so disappointed when I couldn't read the second chapter! Having said that, I thought the first chapter set up the story well, but was also super wordy and I got a little confused on what exactly was happening. I was hoping to get some clarification on that with the next chapter. I don't know how to rate just one chapter. I do want to read the whole book.
What a unique idea for a book! I received Chapter 1 for review, and I am so hooked on this story. The heroine, Meg, is a calligrapher of extraordinary ability with a little extra talent on the side - she can 'tell' things about her clients. Usually nothing happens when she adds a little extra into her work ... except that this time, one of her clients was able to detect the message in his wedding announcement and shows up demanding an explanation.
I'm looking forward so much to reading this story that I am giving this excerpt 5 stars. Thanks to Kensington Publishing and Netgalley for allowing me to read and review this excerpt in exchange for my honest opinion.
It's a little difficult to rate a single chapter, but I really liked the cliff-hanger at the end and definitely saw potential in the story. Looking forward to reading the entire book!
More please! I received an ARC of the first chapter of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I didn’t give a 5 star review because I only read the first chapter, but I am definitely intrigued. I want to know how and why Reid’s relationship went off the rails? Will Meg find her missing inspiration? So many questions! I definitely am adding Love Lettering to my TBR!
Love Lettering by Kate Clayborn is a delightfully fun story - starting with an small moment in time and how it impacts a family.
The quirky characters seem to leap off the pages with internal dialogue making it easy to read.
Can’t wait to bring it on my mountain retreat to share with friends.
