Thank you Netgalley for my copy of this book. Last year I read and hugely enjoyed Shaun Bythell's previous book to this one, Diary of a Bookseller. This one is remarkably similar but no less entertaining; it is essentially a diarised account of a year in the life of Shaun and The Bookshop in Wigtown. He recounts some hilarious stories about customers, books, staff and so on; it all adds up to a light-hearted but very funny book, that has left me yearning to visit Wigtown! Well worth reading.

Not for me I'm afraid. The book is extremely boring, each day much like the rest. Afraid I gave up after a few chapters.

Confessions of a Bookseller sounded like it was going to be a interesting book. I found the that maybe the bookseller hated his job and people. The writing was painfully slow.
