Lucy’s Light is such a great and simple story. Lucy is a lightning bug who doesn’t light up. She excels in many other areas but not being able to light up makes her feel embarrassed and sad. When her classmates get into trouble Lucy’s inability to light up saves the day, showing her that being different is okay, and being yourself is more important that being the same as everyone else.
