Enjoyable and engaging elaboration for general readership of key themes from a seminal 2001 paper "Bad Is Stronger Than Good" by co-author and acclaimed social psychologist Roy Baumeister. Belongs in any public and academic library collection. Helpfully tunes one's attention to myriad ways in which negativity bias threads through everyday life and manifests at larger societal scales -- and constructively suggests ways to mitigate and exploit the bias for improved quality of life.
