I usually love Allen Carr's "Easy Way" books, but this one just didn't do it for me. The book claims to give readers an easy way to put down the phone/gaming and get reinvested in life. I personally was excited to see the approach to this but didn't find it motivating or engaging. I would instead recommend Cal Newport's Digital Minimalism.
I gave up smoking partly with the help of Allen Carr’s book, and he brings similar methods to smartphone addiction. I feel more comfortable and less ruled by my phone now.
Although I'm not a digital addict, this was a very interesting read about overcoming addiction, what lies behind addiction and why the willpower method doesn't work. I would recommend this book for anyone with a phone, gaming or other screen addiction.

I thought this was an interesting read. We live in a digital world now, where we are attached to our phones 24/7. It’s hard not to be. This book motivates you to put down the phone and pay attention to life. I am going to try to do this.

Honest and in-depth advice for reaching your full potential. This advice is presented in easy to follow language that can be broken up and applied in pieces at a time.
This is a guide most people now need as we are all addicted to these devices no matter how we try to claim otherwise. All of us get sucked in by notifications and apps to make life easier and spending less time on a screen is a great idea.
