I’ve been a Catholic Priest for 44 years and have struggled with speaking about money and have seen the various parishes I’ve been appointed to struggle to pay the ‘bills’.
In their new book, ‘ChurchMoney’, Fr Michael White and Tom Corcoran continue the style and easy reading of the Rebuilt Series and have once more stated that our primary role of the Church is to make disciples. As they shared their experiences they have reminded us that being a disciple also calls us to become generous givers because being a generous giver is the proper response to our God who has first generously given to us.
This book is for all those, who like me, love the Church but who don’t know how to lead people to become generous givers. It is for all those who are part of Parish Leadership and Finance Teams as they plan the next stage of their Parish Journey and it is for people in the pews who think that the only reason they give is to pay the bills.
Thanks for a great book that gives background and advice from a Parish where their Vision and their Mission have worked together to build a great community in Timonium and which has become a powerful witness for the wider Church.
