Such a wonderful holiday read! Great characters and a feel of warmth and welcome. I loved it and can’t wait for the next by Debbie!
This was a great read! The writing flowed well from start to finish, and I loved Caine and Evie together! They had great chemistry, and I was rooting for them make it through everything. I did get annoyed at both of them for different reasons. Caine for defending his grandmother even after the horrible things she had done, and Evie for analyzing Caine, but not dealing with her own problems. It was a little confusing at times with all the characters from other books mentioned. Those parts are few, so it wasn't a big deal. The ending was great, and I loved that even Colleen got her happy ending.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.
Evangeline Christmas owns a Christmas Store and a developer, Caine Elliott, is buying up all the stores to put up a new property. She is refusing to leave even though her business isn't doing well. What Caine's grandmother is demanding of him is really cruel. She wants to ruin a family in Harmony Harbor and won't stop at anything to make their lives miserable.
I received this from Forever and NetGalley for review.

Christmas in Harmony Harbor is the 9th book in the Harmony Harbor series by Debbie Mason. This is the 6th book in this series that I have read. This is the last book in the series (big tears slowly slide down my cheek… but we as readers knew this series had to come to an end eventually ☹). And what a conclusion Christmas in Harmony Harbor is to the series.
Christmas in Harmony Harbor is the story surrounding Evangeline Christmas (Evie) and Caine Elliot (real-estate developer). Evie is in a bind, she must come up with a plan to save her year-round Christmas store, Holiday House. Caine comes to town with a plan to obtain and to build a large office tower and this project needs the land that Holiday House is on to accommodate the parking spaces required by a long-forgotten bylaw for this development. And let’s not forget, Ms. Mason is known for her romance SO this a fairly formulaic “hate-to-love” story – and you do NOT hear me complaining as this is where Ms. Mason excels. I was completely taken away while reading this story.
So we have angst between Evie and Caine. We also have further complications as Caine is trying to make his grandmother (Emily Green Elliot) happy… but Emily is not an easy woman to appease and she has a larger than life hate for all things Gallagher. So Caine is doing what he can to pacify her, but that seems to be at odds with what is best for the greater good of Harmony Harbor.
As a last ditch effort – Evangeline makes a bet with Caine that if he fulfills three wishes from her shop’s “Angel Tree,” she would consider allowing him to buy her property and close up shop. So this is where the fun begins. I won’t go into much detail as half the enjoyment of reading the book are through these wishes.
Colleen Gallagher (a ghost) is ever present, as is Simon (a black cat – who essentially does Colleen’s bidding, as best as a cat can as he is the only one that can hear and see Colleen). I love these characters and have throughout the series. Colleen, in fact has a suspicion about the true identity of Simon – “she’d become convinced he was actually the family’s patriarch, William Gallagher”. Time will tell as you read the book.
Throughout the book we see that Caine is reminded of what Christmas means: a time of giving, enjoying life by appreciating the little small things in life, peace and goodwill towards others. We see his evolution from hard and calculating businessman to the man that truly lets his heart shine through. And this is accomplished through the completion of the “three Angel Tree wishes”.
There is of course a number of subplots involving many of the residents of Harmony Harbor, which I also found very entertaining. It was like revisiting old friends. There was even one part that was actually a bit terrifying for Evie (and this reader). In the end, one or more HEA’s may have been had. The series wraps up nicely but in all honesty – it left me wanting more of this family!

This is a very nice holiday romance. The characters are believable although a bit predictable. I have only read a few Debbie Mason books, but will be looking for more by this skilled author
Wonderful holiday romance. The setting is inviting and the characters are very loveable. While the plot is somewhat predictable, as are most holiday romances, it in no way detracts from the enjoyment of the book. Debbie Mason is a wonderful storyteller and this book is a delightful addition to her Harmony Harbor series. Another Hallmark movie perhaps?
I love Christmas-themed books but anyone who knows me knows that the most important part of the book for me is the ending and this one I really tried to enjoy but couldn't quite enjoy the ending chosen by the writer for Canie's grandmother, Emily. Anyway ... I enjoyed the story
The couple is super cute together and the way they turn from enemies to lovers was cute.

When I initially requested this book I didn’t realize it was a part of a series. And now that I have the entire series in paperback I’m going to begin with book 1 and return to this book later! I want to start from the beginning and not miss out on the arc of the series. Thank you forever pub!! You all are the best!!!
While I am slowly becoming a Mason fan, this was my first intro to the Harmony Harbor series and I really enjoyed it. Like reading a classic Christmas movie. I feel the need to go back and read the whole series.
If you are a fan of Hallmark Christmas movies, Christmas in Harmony Harbor is the book for you. Highly recommend.
Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for my ARC. All opinions are my own.
Christmas in Harmony Harbor by Debbie Mason is the final book in her Harmony Harbor series, and I’m sad to see it go. If you’ve read the series from book one or it’s the first one you pick up, I guarantee it will not disappoint. This final installment tells the story of Caine Elliot, the man behind the company trying to buy Greystone Manor.
Caine is an enigma. As a fan of the series and lover of the manor, I should hate him, but I don’t. I love him. He has a good heart which is evident when he was first introduced in Barefoot Beach as Theia’s best friend. He cares deeply for those that he loves and is loyal even when the person doesn’t deserve his loyalty. My heart broke for him over and over again throughout the story, especially as his history is revealed and how the manor plays into it.
But this story isn’t just about Caine. It’s also about Evangeline Christmas, the owner of Holiday House, a historic home and store on the main street of Harmony Harbor. It also happens to be next door to the development Caine’s company is building and the town just voted to approve Caine’s request to buy Holiday House and put a parking lot in its place. Furious and heartbroken don’t begin to describe how Evie is feeling, but she is determined to stop it. With the help of Caine’s uncle Seamus, Evie devises a plan to do just that.
The plot of the story follows Caine and Evie as Evie’s plan is put into motion. Evie bets Caine that he can’t fulfill three wishes from her angel tree. As a man who never loses, Caine takes the bet. Evie uses each wish as an homage to the Dickens’s classic A Christmas Carol. Each angel is one of the ghosts of Christmas, breaking down all of Caine’s barriers and a few of Evie’s along the way. I love this twist! It really explores Caine’s history giving readers a clear insight into his character. Not to mention the chemistry that builds between Evie and Caine as he fulfills the wishes and they get to know one another.
Overall I loved Christmas in Harmony Harbor. While I’m sad to see the series come to a close, I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect ending. Colleen would be happy with it! If you enjoy sweet, holiday romance, I highly recommend you grab a copy asap.
This was such a perfect conclusion to the Harmony Harbor series! I am sad to see it end, because I loved the characters and setting, but I am left completely satisfied with the conclusion. Although... I'd really like to read the whole secret book!
I love this book and series! At first I wondered why Caine a book then I realized who he was. Even though I loved the ending, I hope there is one more book in this series! Jasper needs a book!
Title: Christmas In Harmony Harbor

Rating: 5
Evangeline Christmas will do anything to save her year-round Christmas store, Holiday House, when high-powered real-estate developer Caine Elliot uses his money and influence to push through his competing property next door. When her last desperate attempt to stop him fails, she gambles everything on a proposition she prays the handsome, blue-eyed player can't refuse.
Caine agrees to Evie's bargain because how hard can it be to fulfill three wishes on the Angel Tree at Holiday House? The wishes have him reliving the Christmases of his past and taking part in the holiday festivities of Christmas present. Will the last wish on the Angel Tree be enough to give Caine and Evie the happy ending they deserve

Easy, fun, quick read. Great story in the Harmony Harbor series. It was a fast feel good story, that I will recommend
Mason wraps up the Harmony Harbor series perfectly in this last installment. Her character development is spot on and Evie and Caine are a delight. Make sure you have time to finish when you start. This is the perfect novel to get you into the Christmas spirit.
Received in exchange for a honest review.
So I live Evie but didn’t like all of her actions. I like her generosity and caring but she didn’t show that completely to Caine. She only saw him as an enemy. She didn’t think that there was more to what was going on. She thought of her end goal. That I didn’t like. Yes the bet changed Caine but also caused more harm than good. It created friction and caused him to lose alot more than he could have imagined.
Caine was more than meets the eye. He is kind, gentle, loyal and sweet. He has a past that breaks the heart and his love for his grandmother and uncle is strong and wonderful to see. He has some insecurity that he hides well but he is also wicked smart. Little did he know that taking on Evie for his grandmother would turn his world upside down. Evie does help Evie see beyond his grandmother and helps him see he is a amazing person worth more than his money. Caine helps Evie see not everyone and everything is as they seem.
The story was entertaining and endearing. Watching Caine help others and his family he didn’t really know was heartwarming. Watching him with his uncle and the love he had for him was sweet. Seeing him care for Evie even when she thought he was trying to take her down was wonderful. He only ever wanted her safe and his grandmother happy. He didn’t want to hurt anyone and he knew that his grandmother’s wishes would but his grandmother was his world. She raised him and he felt he owed her so much but also couldn’t lose her like he did others in his life. She was his safety and he was afraid of losing her. Evie turned his world around and he began to see things differently. He wanted her in his life. He found her to be a breath of fresh air but he didn’t want to hurt his grandmother. You feel for Caine because he is in a balacing act and has the most to lose. yet his feelings for Evie can’t be denied and the leap off the pages. His kind heart does as well. You see what an amazing guy he is. Even in the end you see how big and amazing his heart is.
Debbie Mason has wrapped the series up with a wonderful story of family, loyalty love and forgiveness. She gave us two strong stubborn and yet caring and kind hearted characters in Evie and Caine that you fall for and love seeing them fall in love and find their way to one another and their happy ever after.
I was not able to get "into" this book . I tried several times and it didn't hold my interest. I am sure there is an audience that would appreciate it however I was not able to.
The final book in a series is always a bit bittersweet, especially a series I've enjoyed as much as I have Debbie Mason's Harmony Harbor. I have taken these characters into my heart with laughter, tears, heartache, and love. Christmas in Harmony Harbor bids Harmony Harbor a fond farewell with a heart-tugging romance filled with humor, danger, a battle of wills, some ghostly interference, satisfying romance, answers we've all been waiting for, an unexpected surprise...or two, and a Grinch hero due a few lessons in the true meaning of Christmas.
One of the facets of Debbie Mason's writing that I most enjoy is her world building. In this series, she's brought the town of Harmony Harbor and her citizens to life. Her characters are fully dimensional and complex, with realistic flaws and emotional depth. Her heroes and heroines are not always easy, and they're not always nice, but they're real and, in the end, they always succeed in winning my affection. Though, admittedly, some more than others. ;-)
Caine is one of those "difficult" characters and it took a good amount of time for him to win me over but win me he did. As with other characters in this series, Mason has given him a lot of emotional baggage to unravel which, for me, made his eventual redemption all the more satisfying. My heart really hurt for him - after I got over wanting to throw him off a cliff - and by the end I was cheering for his happily-ever-after. Evie, on the other hand, had me in her corner from the beginning. I was confident she was the perfect "Christmas Elf" to bring Caine out of the darkness and help him remember the good that Christmas and family are supposed to represent.
Christmas in Harmony Harbor is an engaging, heartwarming holiday romance that can be read and enjoyed on its own but readers should be aware that, as the final story in a series with an overarching mystery, there are several plot threads that are wrapped up, questions answered, and characters present (the Gallagher and DiRossi families are big) that could be confusing if you have not read any of the earlier books. As a reader of the entire series, I turned the final page with a tear, a smile, a sigh for lives well lived and a love that endures into eternity, and eager anticipation for whatever Debbie Mason has in store for readers next.

ARC received. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
I haven’t read a Christmas based romance that I didn’t like. Reading about two people falling in love during the most magical time of the year always gets me misty-eyed. So, when I saw that Debbie Mason had written another book in her Harmony Harbor series, I couldn’t wait to read it!!
I loved the plotline of Christmas in Harmony Harbor. It was fast-paced and well written. There was a spot in the book where it lagged. But the author was able to get the book back on track.
The storyline of Christmas in Harmony Harbor was interesting. It was a mixture of A Christmas Carol and The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. It reminded me of A Christmas Carol because of the journey that Caine took during the time he was with Evie. Each task he had to complete had him reflecting on his past, present, and future. It reminded me of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas because Caine’s heart grew three sizes too large towards the end of the book.
I was surprised to find out that Christmas in Harmony Harbor was going to be the last book in the Harmony Harbor series. That upset me because I didn’t want the series to end. Hopefully, the author will start a new series that features a least some of the unattached characters (thinking Clio here). That way, I can catch up on what the characters in this series have been doing.
Christmas in Harmony Harbor can be read as a standalone book. But, considering the intertwining storylines, I would read the previous books. I wish I did because some plotlines were mentioned that had me going, “Huh?”
I loved Evie, but she was a hot mess. She was trying to save her family business and disrupt Caine’s plans for her house. But, she did make me laugh during the book. I thought her idea to win Caine over by using the Angel Tree was perfect. I also liked how she saw the best in everyone/thing. Like her shop. It was a rat, and mice-infested mess, yet she loved it.
I didn’t like Caine for the first half of the book. He was hellbent on getting revenge on the Gallaghers on behalf of his grandmother. But then he met Evie, and he started to thaw. He agreed to 3 wishes from the Angel Tree. It was after that scene that I began to like him. But, I wish that he stood up to his grandmother sooner.
Caine and Evie’s romance was cute. They weren’t expecting to develop feelings for each other. Caine viewed Evie as a PITA, and Evie thought Caine was the second coming of Satan. But I saw that spark. The minute that Caine went into the basement and faced down rats, I knew it. I loved it, even though it was Instalove.
I thought that the secondary characters made this book. Caine’s grandmother, GG, Seamus, Evie’s mother, and all of the characters from the previous book added depth to the story. My favorite was Seamus. I had this mental picture of this barrel-chested, handsome Irishman helping his nephew. My least favorite was Caine’s grandmother. Up until the end, she insisted on doing things that harmed everyone. I also couldn’t get past what she told and do to Caine. I did a mental “WTF” when that came out.
The end of Christmas in Harmony Harbor was bittersweet. I liked it because I got to see Caine and Evie’s HEA. But I was sad because the author is ending the series.
