Christmas Angels is A HEARTWARMING Christmas Story from Nancy Naigle. There is a lot of Magical Moments in the story and you will love reading it.
Highly Recommend it to all readers.
Christmas Angels is a heartwarming read to get you into the holiday spirit. Naigle writes sweet and loveable characters that I feel like could easily be a part of my friend circle. This was such a sweet story.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This book is like watching a Christmas Hallmark movie...Small town, close knit, love of holidays, a girl, a romance and her history. I love romance novels and hallmark so this was a hit for me.
I really enjoyed Nancy Naigle's Christmas Angels. I loved the characters of Liz and Matt and found them to be really relatable. I love the idea about having signs from beyond.
A perfect read for the holiday season. A whimsical love story of Liz and Matt, second chances and restoring faith and hope with a town full of amazing people.
Perfect for a Hallmark holiday movie.
Liz has always dreamed of someday owning a country inn similar to what her grandparents previously owned. When she finds the exact inn on the auction block she dives in and is the successful winning bid. Sight unseen, Liz heads up to Angels Creek to find her new life dream was abandoned and in need of complete renovation. I loved this book but it reminds me a bit too much of a story I read about 6 years ago. The only real difference is this one is christmas theme'd.
Finding out his childhood crush was moving next store was the sign he needed. A guardian Angel must have brought him to her as they rebuild an inn. Such a sweet and wonderful holiday story.
Nancy Naigle pens a heart warming nostalgic romance . Liz and Matt meets and butts heads with each other but as the magic of Christmas weaves it’s spell on them, they learn to fall in love with each other.
I absolutely love reading Christmas books around Thanksgiving and Christmas time. This book put me right in the mood to start decorating early! This book would make a wonderful Hallmark movie! The love story was believable and did not feel forced. The supporting characters were perfect. The Christmas activities were right in tune with the storyline and setting.
This is my first read my Nancy Naigle and I will be reading more!
This was a fun Christmas story about dreams coming true and finding love in the strangest places. Liz dreamed of taking over and running her Grandparent's Inn. When that dream becomes a reality, she jumps in to make it work. She moves to the small town where it is located and works to get it back up and running. There she meets the people who live in the small town and begins to make friends. She also meets Matt, who wanted to own the inn himself, but lost to Liz. He is darned sure that she is the wrong person to run the inn, but maybe....
Another lovely heartwarming book by this author, you are drawn in from the first page and love the characters and location. Perfect Christmas book to curl up in front of the fire with
Liz grew up visiting with her grandparents at their inn in Angel Creek. She always had this dream to run a place like it but then a miracle occured and she had the opportunity to purchase it. Unfortunately, it was in a significant state of disrepair. Matt Hardy owns the property next door and wanted to buy it just to keep someone from messing it up again. When Matt figures out that Liz wants to return it to its' former glory, he is all in for helping her achieve her dream. Even better would be a chance to reconnect with his childhood crush. The little miracles of the Christmas Angels that Liz' Grandmother saved would show up everywhere as signs that this was meant to be. Is the last miracle bringing them together?
I loved this one so much! It is like a book form of a Hallmark Christmas movie... I know this author actually has some books made into movies, so it actually might be one. These are so warm and fuzzy. No real surprises, but they are fun to read anyway. Four out of five stars for me.
Thanks to Netgalley and St Martin's for providing a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book sounds like the script for a Hallmark Christmas movie!
Liz Westmoreland spent time growing up at her grandparent’s inn in quaint Angel Creek. It’s her dream to open one of her own just like it. One night she stumbles across what she thinks was their inn on a listing site and puts in a bid – sight unseen. She has the winning bid. What could go wrong? It’s her dream!
When Liz does arrive at the inn, she realized she should have come to Angel Creek for a visit before blindly placing her bid. Luck is in her favor, though, when she hires Matt Hardy as her contractor to renovate the inn. Except Matt has a secret about the inn: he also put in a bid! Matt’s best childhood memories were at the inn with the Westmoreland family. Matt is dedicated to helping Liz restore the inn to glory and will bend over backwards for Liz.
While the very dilapidated inn is undergoing some drastic changes, Liz tries not to stick out like a sore thumb in the small town. With Matt’s help here too, Liz begins integrating within the community and building relationships that will last – for herself and for the inn.
Even though Matt and Liz have a business relationship, Matt also has some feels for Liz. And he has some romantic competition in town!
This is a heartwarming story all around with Christmas cheer added in. And the ending gives a glimmer of who might be matched up next in this small town.
It is no wonder that so many Nancy Naigle books end up as Hallmark movies. Christmas Angels isa another one of her heartwarming Christmas stories. With wonderful characters and that small town welcoming vibe, be sure this book is on your TBR list!
This was a great little heartwarming romance story. It would make a great hallmark movie perfect for the Christmas season. The characters were likable, the story was cute, there was a good bit of humor and it just really kept you engaged and turning the pages. Very well done!
As usual Nancy Naigle has captured my heart with her story. I would recommend anything she has written to anyone who will listen. Her stories grab hold of you and leave you wanting more and more. I always look forward to a new release.
This book screamed “Hallmark Christmas movie” and that’s just what I love! I enjoyed the storyline of Liz buying an inn in an auction that needed some renovation, and following in the footsteps of her grandparents. A wonderful romance ensues and this heartwarming story was a perfect Christmas read!
It is impossible to read this novel and not be ready to decorate your house, sing Christmas carols, and have hot cocoa! I love a good Christmas story and this is one of my favorites. I could read it year after year!
I enjoyed this Christmas romance, that was also about community, friends, helping others and following your dreams. When Liz Westmoreland stumbles upon a listing auctioning off her grandparent's inn in Angel's Creek, she takes a risk and places a bid. She wins the auction and her dream of running the inn seems like it is about to come true. When she gets there she finds the property in significant disrepair, and is not sure if she will be able to make her dream come true after all. Matt Hardy grew up in Angel's Creek and is also bidding on the inn. He narrowly loses the auction, but is thrilled when he finds out that Lizzie, his childhood friend is the one who bought the inn and wants to make a go of it.
Of course, being a Nancy Naigle Christmas story, you know there will be a happily ever after, but the path to it is not smooth. There is a little angst, due to a misunderstanding, a lot of bumps in the road to getting the inn back on it's feet and a lot of family, friends and community members that pitch in to restore Angel's Rest to it's past glory. I loved this story, it is what the Christmas Spirit is all about. I don't know if this one has been made into a Hallmark movie yet, but it needs to be done if it hasn't. I definitely recommend this one.
If you love a good Christmas romance this is for you.
One of Lizzie's fondest memories is time's spent with her grandparents at their inn.
Recently, it has come up for auction. Not thinking she bids on it and wins.
Matt, is worried about who bought it till he sees Lizzie bought it..
Christmas, rehabbing an old house, fun enduring town folk leed to a great read.
