Are you a fan of a sweet melodic romance that takes a long and lingering path to love? Christmas Angels will be the absolute best read for you. It's a wholesome, sweet and loving kind of romance. Not hurried or rushed. One that builds and has such a lovely rhythm. With the holiday season fast approaching, I find myself wanting a book that is easy to pick up and put down, yet still holds be as a reader. Christmas Angels does just that.
A lovely read.

"Christmas Angels" by Nancy Naigle is a wonderful, feel good story! It would be the perfect Christmas read. Liz, the main character, is very easy to like and you want her to have a happy ending. Every character adds to the story and the potential is definitely there to have some more books about the other people. This book is heart warming.
What a heart warming story this is! I grew up in a small town where everyone knows each other and their business which can sometimes be a useful thing.
Liz Westmoreland happened to stumble on the auction announcement for the lodge where she spent much of her childhood with her grandparents. She has the winning bid – sight unseen - and takes time off her high powered job to go see what it will take to restore it to what she remembers.
Matt Hardy comes back to his hometown to help out occasionally and finds out that he wasn’t the final bidder on the Westmoreland property. Word of mouth has him submitting a bid to work on the renovations.
Never one to mix business and pleasure, Liz is finding it hard to stay away from Matt until the house is done. Many costly obstacles arise that threaten to stop the whole project. With a lot of help from members of the community, they are able to finish up and be ready for the holiday lights parade.
And then . . . HEA!
I received an ARC from the publisher for an honest and unbiased review. No compensation was promised or received for the review.
This is a delightful Christmas story. Set in a small town, Liz and Matt are both following their dreams when their paths intersect. What happens then is a magical story of love, friendship, family, and making those dreams come true. This is a heartwarming read, perfect for getting into the Christmas spirit.
Who doesn’t love Christmas and great stories that warm your soul and make you sing Christmas carols !
A great festive read My first book by this author and definitely not my last !
4 star review of Christmas Angels by Nancy Naigle
What's not to love? It's the most magical time of the year and also happens to be my most favourite holiday. I love any story that is centred around Christmas; it’s a time for family and friends to get together and celebrate life.
When I read the blurb I was intrigued and I couldn’t wait to read about Antler Creek and her grandparents inn that Liz Westmoreland manages to purchase at auction.
Returning to the place that holds so many memories, Liz is shocked at how rundown and in need of repairs the inn requires. Matt Hardy was narrowly pipped in the bidding for the inn that bordered his property but when he finds out that his childhood crush Liz is the one you purchased the inn, he offers to help her bring it back to life.
As they work together, feelings and romance blossom. Could Liz finally have found an everlasting love with Matt? Can Matt and the people of Antler Creek prove to Liz that she has finally found a place to call home?
This was a fun, quick read and one I thoroughly enjoyed. I liked Nancy Nagle’s style of writing and felt as though I was a part of the magic of . A festive and sweet story that will get you in the mood for the holiday season and was heartwarming.
Antler Creek sounds like a beautiful place and I found this story to be full of hope, love and family; of strength and determination and all in all a heart warming read.
I received a copy of this book through the publisher via Netgalley.
"Christmas Angels" - Nancy Naigle
A sweet clean contemporary story. I received an ARC of this story from the publisher vie NetGalley. I truly enjoyed my time in this story. As Liz and Matt worked to bring their dreams to reality and the lumps and bumps along the way. I do hope you enjoy this story as much as I did. Happy Reading!!
Christmas Angels is a cute story. Liz purchased her grandparents' former inn, but its in serious need of rehab. Matt, a local who has had the hots for Liz is eager to pitch in. The story flows well and a nice touch are the angels that keep popping up. My favorite character is Elvis, the dog, who, provides an extra element of charm. The cover is very attractive and appealing.
A sweet book, I enjoyed it very much. A perfect holiday read. Very lighthearted and comforting. A beautiful Inn, a dog and engaging characters make for a cozy, fast read.
Christmas Angels by Nancy Naigle
Acknowledgements start this book out first.
Starts out with Liz and she's so good at her job she's stockpiled money for the right time in her life.
She works with Dan as he has many contacts to help make her job easier. She coordinates and makes things happen, faster and cheaper than quoted prices.
She learns her grandparents house will be for sale and she places and wins the bid online. When she arrives she sees just the shape of things-she goes on temporary leave-at least til after the Christmas holidays and lines up workers to fix everything.
She has the money to cover it all but it's all the small things that made the difference to me.
Snow bowling-who knew! Angels in the snow are memorable as my mother was a quilter and a major collector of angels in all shapes and sizes. The contractor goes above and beyond...
Love the night before Christmas similar to when Joseph and Mary went looking for a manger or anywhere to stay and Liz has that solution. What a connection to the real meaning of Christmas.
Love how the village all come together to make not only her dream come true but so much more...So many memories of our childhood is in this story-priceless!
Can't wait to read more from this author.

Received this review copy via publicist via NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
This was a heartwarming story set during Christmas time in a town called Antlers Creek. Liz bids on her grandparents old Inn in an online auction and wins. Matt also bid on the property, but he lost. Matt helps Liz fix up the Inn and bring it back to it's former glory. During the process Liz and Matt fall in love. It's a great story set in an amazing town...I love the characters, the setting, everything about it. I can't wait for the holidays!
I love Christmas, and Christmas novels almost as much. They always make me want to curl up with a warm blanket and hot cocoa in front of a fireplace. This book was exactly what I needed.
I loved these characters, I loved how well written it was, and I loved how well this story flowed and resolved. This is a book I will read for Christmases to come.

Christmas Angels is slow to begin with, but then it picks up towards the end to bring a somewhat rushed, but pleasant finish.
Dreams do come true sometimes. Liz has a chance to realise her childhood dream and takes a chance by living behind everything she loves.
Matt is a genuine and caring person. He is always at the ready to give a helping hand.
Although repetitive and slow in places, the concept of this story is good. A small community where everyone knows everyone, and always very supportive of each other. Matt remenbers Liz from their childhood and his crush for her is still very much alive. Only, they are both adults now and as much as Matt wants to get closer to Liz, she chooses to ignore the signals. Her motto? Never get involved with a work colleague, and they happen to work on a project together.
They have to navigate through various difficulties to achieve their objective, but drive and determination prevail. The end of the story shows true Christmas spirit. Despite Matt's misunderstanding, he has his HEA with Liz. Best of all, the community spirit is exceptional.
I was kindly issued with an eARC from Netgalley and the views expressed are my personal opinion.
This is a very sweet read and it's perfect for the holiday the season.
Nancy Naigle's writing is fluent and light, the story might be slow paced for some but I enjoyed it. However I will say that I Liz was a bit hard to like for me, mainly because of her relationship with the hero, Matt, who had a crush on her when they were kids and now is doing all these things for her and she's just oblivious? I don't belive anyone can be that blind, so it did frustrate me at times. Matt on the other hand is completely dreamy, I loved him.
I liked the the nostalgia, family and small town vibes in this book, it all quite heartwarming and something that certainly makes it a great holiday read although I'd still recommend people to read it, no matter the time of the year.
Christmas Angels is a wonderful read for the season. Liz has always dreamed of owning a B&B like her grandparents. She may find her dream coming true and meeting new friends in her grandparents home town. You'll find yourself wanting to visit the inn in the mountains also.
Liz always dreamed that she would take over her grandparents Inn, but it never happened. As adult she is still dreaming about opening an Inn similar to what her grandparents had. While browsing the auction site on internet she finds something that looks like her grandparents Inn. She takes off her from her work and drives to see the Inn, she now owns.
Matt, always loved Angels Creek and hopes that one day he can live here full time.
Liz hired Matt to do all work on the Inn, she never mixed business with pleasure, so Matt is off for her, but will she be able to stay away from him, everything he does, it proves that he is the one for her.
Sweet and wonderful story, I enjoyed a lot.
Nancy Naigle's Christmas Angels is a contemporary story set in the North Carolina mountains. When Liz Westmoreland stumbles upon a website auctioning off her grandparent's old inn she decides to bid on it site unseen. And to her surprise, she has the highest bid. Liz takes a leave of absence from her job and goes to Angel's Rest where the property is located. She is shocked at the condition of the property and can just imagine her friends telling her "I told you so." After the initial shock wears off she gets an estimate of the cost to renovate the inn. A contractor and neighbor Matt Hardy, who also bid on the property works with Liz and together they work to make the Inn livable. This is a feel-good book where dreams do come true. I recommend it to those who like contemporary fiction. chick lit and Christmas stories.
I found this to be a very heartwarming book with a sweet romance. In this book, Liz Westmoreland suddenly has the opportunity to buy the inn that was once her grandparents' Bed and Breakfast. It has been her dream to own it one day, and she sets out to start her new life there with joy in her heart. Once she arrives, she finds that the inn has pretty much been gutted, and is far from ready to operate as a Bed and Breakfast.
Liz struggles with feeling like she might be doing the wrong thing in trying to make her dream of operating the B&B come true. She reconnects with people who were her grandparents friend and neighbors, and even some she knew when she visited as a child. Matt Hardy is one of those, and he offers to help her with the restoration of the inn. Liz has to decide if she should risk it all to stay and try to fulfill her dream, or go back to her old, more secure lifestyle.
My favorite part of this book was the interaction between Liz and Matt, both of whom i thought were great characters. I also really loved the setting of this book.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy.
Christmas Angels is the story of Liz Westmoreland and Matt Hardy, two people looking for a chance to realize their dreams. When fate brings them together in Antlers Creek they’ll find out if dreams really do come true. Liz loved the area when her grandparents lived there and ran an inn. She would love to do the same and, at the same time, help to revitalize the community. Matt has the same intentions and will use his contractor and construction skills to make things happen. The two will have to dodge occasional bumps in the road but they also have a lot of fun getting to know each other along the way.
This is a Christmas story with the theme of sharing one’s gifts being the best gift of all. Perfect for fans of Hallmark movies and all things Christmas.
I love Christmas romances but I just couldn't warm up to this one. I think it was because the heroine is not very likeable.
Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for my ARC. All opinions are my own.
