A bit of a bore, if truth be told, this allegedly edgy revenge thriller featuring one guy with a grudge and a host of peculiar robots is just too scattershot, and the artwork fails in key action scenes. It's not sinfully bad, but it ain't up to much. If, like me, you have this book as a shoe-in for worst title of the year, take it you're with me on this all the way. One and a half stars.
A tech wiz with robotic skills has been planning his revenge for years. He enters a dystopian Las Vegas with his robot crew dead set on bringing down the mob who once employed him. This book would have been great with better art and coloring. The art often fails to tell the story. It left me wondering what was happening in several places as panels looked more like a Jackson Pollock painting than sequential art. I loved the humor in the book. Robot Paul may be my favorite new character this year.
