The continuation of Naz and Eva's story is another nail bitter! This woman is tough as nails. The love and trust they have for each other is a amazing. Eva's plan goes very far awry and she is caught in the crosshairs in a situation that is not of her making. Naz (and Conner) to the rescue. Another crazy cliffy had me checking NetGalley daily for the final book!

Dangerous Desires picks up right where Dangerous Beauty left off and totally hits the ground running. And let me tell you, this author leaves no stone unturned. You think you have an idea of where this story is going to go, but I promise you, you don't. When it comes to Naz, there is no limit as to how far Eva will got to keep him safe; even if that means putting her own life in danger. But what Eva, doesn't know is that she has entered the most dangerous game of cat and mouse that she's ever played. The stakes are higher than ever and Eva and Naz will be tested in ways they can't begin to imagine. Will love prevail and save the day??? There's only one way to find out....

Dangerous Desires was a quick and thrilling read for me. There was no way that I could not devour this story. I mean these characters sucked me in instantly and held me captive the entire time. Once again, I am blown away by the devotion and love that Naz and Eva have for one another. Some may say that love will make you weaker, but when it comes to these two, their love only makes them stronger. As long as they can keep the faith, their is nothing that they can't make it through.

Dangerous Desires was everything I could want and need in a romantic suspense. There was danger and mystery. There were moments that shocked you and moments that thrilled you. There was romance, steam, and of course swoon. Like I said, Dangerous Desires had it all. This book kept me on my toes from the very first page, right down to the very last. My only complaint is that the story is over and I need to know what happens next!!!

You really need to read this series!

I can’t even begin to try to describe Dangerous Desires without mentioning the first book in the trilogy Dangerous Beauty first. Dangerous Desires is not a stand-alone book and I really want to read the next book in the series Dangerous Games just to know how it ends.

Evalina (Eva) Ivanova knows that Dimitri will never give up trying to get her back in his control so she gives herself up so Dimitri will give up going after Naz. Eva’s plans don’t go the way she planned and now she has to deal with Killian who takes the story in a direction I wasn’t expecting but that is what makes this series so good to read.

If you like romantic suspense or romance with a lot of action, this is the series you need to read. Now I’m preordering the last book in the series just in case I miss it.

Well after a cliffhanger leftover from the first book, this book jumps rights back into the action. Full speed ahead. While on this roller coaster of a ride in this book, my emotions were everywhere. Eva is an absolutely fierce woman! She quickly turns men into putty as they cant resist her charm. While she and Naz are amazing in this book as the last- I absolutely adored the banter between Naz and the new guy! Yeah- can't tell you who he is! Just when you know things are getting to the boiling point- BAM- the end!

I cannot wait for book 3 of this series!

The continuation of the Dangerous Beauty series didn’t disappoint, but it also didn’t grab me as much as the first book. We got more Eva and Naz swoony goodness, but the real star of this book was Killian. I just loved him. This new cliffhanger is killing me more than the first. Cannot wait for the conclusion of this amazing series!!

Intrigue, dangerous times and men and then...a love to overcome all of this. J.T. Gessinger knows how to weave a tale which will make you stay up and read into the night.

Incredible! I fell in love with Naz and Eva in Book #1 (Dangerous Beauty Trilogy) and if it's possible, I love them even more in Book #2. As I'm sure everyone expected, Dangerous Desires ends in another cliffhanger, but even if you are averse to cliffhangers, please don't let that keep you from immersing yourself in this thoroughly enjoyable trilogy. This is romantic suspense at its finest -- surprising twists and turns (Killian!), edge of your seat suspense, smoking hot chemistry, danger and drama -- what more could you want!? Oh, I know, throw in some laugh-out-loud moments between Naz, Eva and Killian and you've got yourself a winning, fabulous combination. I devoured this book and cannot wait for the finale of this trilogy -- November is much too far away! Excellent, phenomenal read!

I have found that it tends to be incredibly hard for me to enjoy the middle book in a trilogy, but this one absolutely hit it out of the park! The story held me captivated and I fell even more in love with Eva and Naz, if that is even possible!! I seriously ADORE their relationship, it is still as funny and genuine as ever, and the heat has ramped up to all kinds of sexy new levels. From how sweet and devoted they are, to the reality of the danger they are facing, their relationship will also be tested like never before...

With the introduction to a fascinating new player (who I would love to see much more of!) and a pain sweating cliffhanger, this trilogy will conclude with the book Dangerous Games, which is scheduled to release on November 19th. Oh man, I have no idea how we are all going to wait that long...

Eva and Naz are back!!! “Dangerous Desires” is the second book of the series and we pick up where we left off- with Eva so desperate to protect the life of the man she loves that’s she will do anything and everything to make that happen. Even go back to the monster that has held her captive for the last seven years.


Unfortunately another obstacle
now stands in the way of Naz and Eva’s happily ever after. Killian has been on Dimitri’s track for some time. And he has discovered his weakness. Eva seems to be the only way to bring the vicious arms dealer to his knees. The last thing that Killian expected was to be captivated by the innocent beauty. And even though Naz is less than thrilled at the prospect- it seems like the only way to capture Dimitri is for him, Killian and Eva to work together.

I have to say that I went back and forth on the notion of liking Killian. But there is just something very alluring about the tattooed Scot. His wit and interaction with Eva and Naz will keep you chuckling. I just have to note that for those expecting an ending to Naz and Eva’s saga - you will have to wait some more as this book also ends with a cliffhanger.

Another captivating read by J. T. Geissinger. Can’t wait for the next book of the series!!!

Wow! Wow! Wow! From the incredible chemistry and the hilarious, sarcastic banter - I so loved this book! Read this book in one sitting and it still wasn’t enough! Cant wait for the ending!

Holy WOW!! Book two is absolutely amazing! I was dying to get more of Naz and Eva's story since the cliffy at the end of Dangerous Beauty and was so more than happy with this installment!! Full of intense drama and equally intense, steamy love scenes between Naz and Eva, I am fully invested in their finding a HEA at the end of all of this. They've been through so much already I can only imagine what the author has in store for the conclusion.  This book added so much to this epic trilogy tossing a new player into the mix who I'm not quite sure how I feel about. I cannot wait for book 3 especially after being left hanging again and in an even more intense way. This is romantic suspense at it's best!

Holy WOW... and I thought the first one was awesome. I’m not usually one for books with CLIFFHANGERs, but I’ve got to admit that this series is fantastic. JT Geissinger’s writing is so engrossing, drawing you into this suspenseful thrill ride. The last book started off Eva and Naz’s journey with playful banter and sizzling chemistry followed by plenty of action (and I don’t mean between the sheets, though this slow burning couple has no issues there). This one starts with the heavy and slowly moves back to the light... only for the action to kick in as we are left awaiting the final installment in the series.

I’m not going to share many plot details here - if you’ve read the first book you already know how fantastic the series is. If you haven’t... DO IT. You will not enjoy this book unless you’ve read the first installment. That being said, I LOVED the new lead introduced here. It took awhile to warm up to him (and no one will ever take Naz’s place in Eva’s heart), but I am hoping he gets his own happily ever after... just not with Eva. Read the book if you want to know what I mean. Thank you, NetGalley, for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review. The wait for the third book is going to feel long, but Eva and Naz’s story won’t soon be forgotten.

This is the second book in the Dangerous Beauty series, part two of the story, which also ends in a cliffhanger.

At the end of the first book, an attempt to kidnap her was thwarted by Metrix Security and Nasir was seriously injured. Feeling that Dimitri, a dangerous Russian crime boss with an extensive global reach, would never back down Eva struck a deal with him, leave Nasir alone and she would willingly return to him. The action-packed, suspenseful storyline in this book is complex and quite riveting, the characters intriguing. The main protagonists are natural-born fighters, individuals who have survived hard pasts alone and having made a rare and precious connection they’ll do anything for each other. “Your light is so much more beautiful because of your darkness. Your heart is so much more open because it’s been hollowed out by knives.” What has served to define them now makes them a vibrant whole. This reader is looking forward to the conclusion of this series and perhaps another book for the mysterious Killian who is so much more than he allows to be seen.

As in the first book the humor between the main protagonists is over-the-top, they act like children at times which had this reader shaking her head at the absurdity of it which detracted from the scenes and considering the situations they found themselves in was not an appropriate relief. Romantic comedy and romantic suspense really don’t mix well, and that is the opinion of a serious lover of romantic suspense, though, some humorous dialogue is always welcome.

Dangerous Desires is the second installment in the Dangerous Beauty Trilogy. And yes...it ends on a heck of a cliffhanger...know that up front. It certainly didn't take away from the story for me except to make me hanker for the last book immediately because I HAVE to know what happens...how this story will finally end. Naz and Eva seem destined to be together but sometimes, that old saying, "If you love something, let it go" has alot more meaning. She loves so hard, so deeply that she will do anything to keep him safe, including making a deal with the man who took her life away from her. You will meet a a few new characters, some despicable and others downright mysterious and for me, swoony. J.T. brings the heat as well in this story and we begin to learn more about Eva, Dimitri and Naz. And can I just say, Tabby is the flipping Bomb :) love her so much!

Second book in this series and it was amazing. I'm really enjoying this series and it's so good. Edge of your seat romance and tons of intrigue. Absolutely enjoyed this.

Holy roller coaster of emotion!

Starting this book, I had no idea what to expect. All I knew is that I loved Eva and Naz in Dangerous Beauty and wanted more of them.
This book made me go through so many emotions; from anger to frustration to elation to exasperation to happiness and then finally to absolute worry and fear with its cliffhanger.

I want at first to say that this book did not disappoint. Eva and Naz’s love and willingness to do everything to protect the other at the risk of their own lives was so heartwarming and made me root for them even more. I LOVE THEM.
Eva is one of the strongest characters I’ve read about. She has had a shit life, but at no point does she give up, but on the contrary, fights tooth and nail, putting her love for Naz and his safety at the forefront of her reason why she needs to fight. She is the embodiment of the “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”. Another thing I loved about her is the fact that after all the shit she gets put through, she never loses her sass or her sense of humor, the latter of which shows up the most when with Naz. The latter, on a not-so-different note is functioning on the sheer need and want to find Eva and keep her safe, which not an easy feat when Eva is doing everything she can NOT to be found in order to keep him safe. We’re dealing with two stubborn people who want to be together fighting tooth and nail to keep each other safe and the result is AMAZING and keeps you at the edge of your seat. And their love is absolutely unbreakable and totally worth it.

I also very much loved Tabby just as much as I did in the first installment if not more. I loved her sass, her don’t-mess-with-me-I’m-smarter-than-you attitude, and I so want to read hers and Connor’s book, which I’m totally adding to my tbr asap.

Now, for the thing that made my emotions boil and then simmer just to boil again. In this sequel, we get introduced to a new character : Killian.
The first time we see Killian, it is an instant hate. But the more we get to know him, the more we see how layered he is. This character is so grey I don’t think it is possible to see characters. He’s also very irritating, but against all hope, makes you intrigued, which I HATED, because I didn’t want to be intrigued. I just wanted to hate him in peace.
There’s also a little bit of a love triangle, which is a trope I absolutely abhor, but though I still mind it a bit when it’s one sided from the third party, which was the case here, it’s not as much as I do when it’s reciprocated in some way.

All in all, even though I knew I would like this book what with my attachment to the characters, it was absolutely not what I expected, in the best way. Any book that can make you feel all the things is a book that’s worth it in my opinion, and Beautiful Desires is totally worth it.

I just can’t wait to read the last installment and the conclusion of Naz and Eva’s story. I can hardly sit straight with anticipation.

The action and suspense continues, introducing new players, but without the big finale. The author is building and building, keeping us on the edge of our seats, anticipating with positive hopes and negative fears. Yeah, the titles make sense, 'dangerous' is an understatement.

One thing that is very clear is that Naz and Eva are deeply in love. Unfortunately, that doesn't solve all the world's problems as advertised. Trouble is chasing them and it's not looking good. "There's only so much pain a heart can take before it breaks for good."

Hopefully, the stars will align and there will be enough love to numb the pain and the memories of the past...and present. Fingers crossed. 🤞 We won't find out until Dangerous Games... or later.

Dangerous Desires is the second in a three part story and therefore ends in a big cliffhanger. So if you're not a fan of those I'd recommend hanging on until November and the release of Dangerous Games before starting this book.

As Dangerous Desires picks up where book one left off. With Eva choosing to return to Dimitri in order to save Naz's life. Whilst Naz is stuck in a hospital bed, recovering from an earlier explosion and blissfully unaware of the sacrifice Eva has made.

And what unfolds is not only entertaining, sexy, intriguing and suspenseful. But full of twists, turns and surprises. And includes the introduction of a new character Killian. Whose not only dangerous and mysterious, but clearly has an agenda all of his own. And I have to say the confrontation between him and Naz was well worth the wait!!!

And I'm really looking forward to the conclusion of this story and the inevitable face-off between Naz and Dimitri.

Would definitely recommend

I have to say book two is more action packed and exciting than the first. It continues on from the cliffy of book one after the bomb and plans to go back to her old captor to save Naz's life. I don't know if her plan was noble or a bit naive and half assed. Well she's brave and had her own plan but it's all waylaid and she's in trouble. Naz is frantic in searching for her and Tabby is a master at her skills getting it done.

I felt bad for Eva even if she set out of her own to do this. She endured a lot for a mistaken identity. Naz is such a sweetheart even if he has old fashioned ideals to take care and protect Eva. He cares deeply for her and makes her know it. They have to be a team to succeed in taking down the enemy. I enjoyed their down time banter and playfulness.

So as the action ramps up the steamy does too. As everything seems quite are more settled of course that's when it blows up they didn't expect. I had a feeling it would be a another cliffy for third book. But darn it's a good one. I need to see what happens now.

I am a huge fan of this author, but this book failed to keep my attention. Mainly because I am not into the mobster theme in romance.
