Just as engaging as book one, such a fast read for me and it is a real nail biter at the beginning.

That's the bad thing about being the middle book of a trilogy, you are starting off mid-story and finishing without a satisfying ending either.
I really need that next book NOW!!!!

J.T. Geissinger is essentially one of my favorite authors, her book "Midnight Valentine" is one of my all time favorite reads.

You will need to read the first book before reading this, or you will be lost. As Naz is coming to after surgery; Eva is kidnapped by Killian. Naz and Connor are now on the hunt to save Eva before she is returned to Dimitri. But not all is as it appears. Eva gets sick and Naz is able to save her. But the hunt has just begun, as new allies come together to fight and destroy Dimitri. This book does end in a cliffhanger, be prepared.

This is the second book in J.T. Geissinger's series Dangerous Beauty, so beware, there is a cliffhanger. If you haven't read book 1, you should, but she provides enough of a backdrop that you can quickly figure out the backstory. I don't typically like books written in parts, but Geissinger spins a wonderful tale in Dangerous Desires. There is witty back-and-forth dialogue that just makes you grin and occasionally laugh out loud. There are darker, more sinister moments as well that make you grip your kindle just a little tighter. Overall a great read, and I can't wait to read the next book as this one really ends on a nail-biting cliffhanger!

Dangerous Desires is the second book in JT Geissinger's Dangerous Beauty series. We all met Naz (or Barney as we first knew him) in the Bad Habit series. He was a mystery, but in Dangerous Beauty, we came to know and love, his goodness. And his love of cult-favorite movies and his ability to quote the BEST quotes. Then we met Eva and honestly, she's tragic, but beautiful and likable and deserves a happy ending with Naz. However, there's the evil Demetri, at the end of Dangerous Beauty we're hanging on by a thread.
At the beginning of Dangerous Desires, we meet Killian. Hero? Villain? What the heck? Not only that he's a mountain of a man, got tattoos, a Scottish brogue, and speaks lovely words in Scots Gaelic (yeah I looked it up). It's easy to see the interest generated by Eva's dedication to the death to Naz. It also leads to Naz and Eva reuniting. OH, HAPPY DAY!
I'm not going to give a synopsis of the book. However, I am going to say I loved this. I love Naz, Killian, and Eva. They each have amazing stories and personalities. Naz has me repeatedly laughing throughout the book as he describes how he wants to kill people. Killian is heart-wrenching, JT we must have a worthy woman for him; it just cannot be Eva. And Eva, she's just so brave and devoted. Demetri is back and more evil than ever, and SOB I now have to wait until the third book comes out.
JT writes THE BEST characters that truly stay with me and make me want to go re-read her books again and again. These books are serialized and require reading sequentially to get the story entirely. READ THEM NOW!!

Argh, this series is going to kill me with these cliff hangers, I need the next book now!!! Honestly I’m loving the story but I will be glad when it’s completely released and I can read them all straight through. Another great read by this fabulous author. This series will leave you sitting at the edge of your seat. Danger, sex, intrigue .

Book 2 in a series. Read Book 1. This can be read alone but it would be like skimming the top, you will not have the full depth of Eva, Nasir and Dimitri. Dimitri is discussed in this book, as opposed to seen, but to know the true evil, the depravity of what Eva is going back to you need book 1. Too know the background of Nasir, to understand the true depth of Nasir and Eva, read book 1. Otherwise I am afraid people will miss out on this truly hair raising book 2, from violence , to love, to despair. Suspense is woven through the whole tale. We meet a new villain, or is he ? (Killian) I cannot say I am as understanding as Eva or Nasir about that situation. Read the book. The ending - pissed me off. It was an OMG moment and you are left. Left hanging. I read all of JT Geissinger but if I could have I would have crawled through her writing portal and shook her tablet, table, muse whatever and screamed WHY!!!! Book3 is needed, needed NOW. My July started out slow, but it's just getting better and better!

I have literally been waiting for MONTHS for the end of Eva and Naz's story and I finally got to read it! I did NOT get the ending I anticipated!

I have such a love hate relationship with books that end with a cliffhanger! And Dangerous Beauty left off with the mother of all cliffhangers!!! I went through withdrawal symptoms not being able to know WHAT HAPPENED NEXT!!!

Now I know!!!

So much flipping happened!

Action, suspense, life and death situations on the high seas (and on land). A scarily compelling, maybe not so bad, bad guy and a truly evil bad guy. Oh! I can't forget true love!

Dangerous Desires is definitely the whole package! You should pick up a copy of Dangerous Beauty today (if you aren't already waiting with bated breath) so you won't have to wait for the rest of the story...

Wow. Just wow! You know when you find a new author that you really like, and then you realize they have several other books that look awesome and it’s like Christmas? That’s this author for me!

I received an ARC of this book, not realizing that it was the second book in the series, but decided to read the first book anyways. And I’m glad I did! I’m a huge fan of the romantic suspense genre and this series has definitely delivered so far. And I have to say, I can usually predict what’s going to happen in the story...but this book had many twists I didn’t see coming.

I love Naz and Eva and I enjoyed reading their story continue in this book. I liked Eva in the first book, but it was great to see her grow and stand on her own feet more in this book.

I honestly wouldn’t read any spoilers (or even the description of the book) before diving in. But if you loved the first book, I think you’ll definitely love this book. And I’m definitely excited to now dive into the author’s other books while I wait for the final book in the trilogy that’s coming in November!

Man, J.T. Geissinger never fails to blow me away when it comes to her talent. She is an epic storyteller and in Dangerous Desires, she takes her talent to the next level with a brilliant page-turner that will keep you on the edge of your seat from the first line right up until the last line of the very last page! The story picks up right where Dangerous Beauty, book 1 left off and takes off running. It's non-stop adventure as Eva and Naz try to work their way back to one another while dealing with never-ending threats to their lives. New characters appear that ratchet the suspense even further. I found myself holding my breath with all of the twists and turns! The story ends with another huge cliffhanger and I can't wait to see where Geissinger takes Eva and Naz's story next. I'm eagerly awaiting the conclusion to this incredible, must-read story! 5 mind-blowing stars

Dangerous Desires picks up right from when Dangerous Beauty ends so you definitely need to read the first book before picking up this one.

I thought Dangerous Beauty was amazing but J T Geissinger goes one better with Dangerous Desires. Everything you would want in a book is right here.

Part 2 ends with the cliff hanger of all cliff hangers. I'm unsure how many parts that there are to this book but I'm hoping 3. Because I can't wait to see how it all ends. If you have not read Dangerous Beauty, you must start with it before reading this book.

Oh my gosh, where do I even start? Book two brings us back to the love story between Nasir (Naz) and Eva. We pick right up where the action left off, and holy smokes, do we jump right in! This book is the second in the series, and you really do need to read the series in order to be able to appreciate the twists and turns of the plot. This is one of the most intense books from J.T. Geissinger I’ve read to date. Without giving too much away, Eva ran from Naz to keep him safe from her crazy, possessive ex, Damien. While attempting this heroic act, she winds up in a new predicament, which adds to the suspense of the book, while introducing a new key player. Once reunited, Naz and Eva rekindle their bond, only for us to be left with another cliffhanger. Agghhh, how can we wait for the next installment? I cannot wait to read the conclusion to this amazingly written, sexy, suspenseful love story.

Dangerous Desires, book 2 in the Dangerous trilogy, continues the story of Naz and Eva that began with Dangerous Beauty. All their fun banter continues to entertain while the passion and love Eva and Naz feel for each other enchants. I knew these books had cliffhangers but I have no problem with that. They are so well written and so fun to read that I just love them. I personally like having something to look forward to and knowing that this is not the end. So don't wait for the final book to come out. Start enjoying them now. You won't be sorry. J.T. is a wonderful author!

Dangerous Desires is book two in the Dangerous Beauty trilogy by J.T. Geissinger. To start off with, I just want to say WOW! This author! She writes the most beautiful words! This would be classified as a romantic suspense but I don’t think it matters what genre she is writing in. Her words are just perfection.

This book starts up right where the previous book left off. But here is where I have to say BUT! Because if you think you knew where things were going to go, you are in for a big surprise. This book is one surprise after another. We are introduced to a new character, Killian, whom I’m pretty much in love with I might add.

Eva is probably the bravest woman I have ever read about. The love she and Naz have for one another is breath taking. There is nothing these two won’t sacrifice for one another. What I love, though, is that they never lose the humor that they share with one another. They could be in the most stressful of situations and that banter is still there.

Naz is every bit the alpha, I’m the man and I’m going to protect my woman mentality. He goes nose to nose with Eva more than once because she will never again relinquish her power to any man, no matter how much she loves him. She wants to stand by Naz’s side, not behind him. She wants to bring down the man who forced her to live with pain and torture the last seven years and she will be a part of the process.

“I know this is the only heaven a man like me will be granted, so much more than I could ever dream or deserve.”

Naz also has all the words. That man! I swooned so much it’s a wonder I didn’t pass out.

I really can’t say much more, other than to prepare yourselves for a crazy, wild ride. And prepare yourselves to sigh, swoon, gasp, smile, maybe even laugh out loud. This book/series has every single thing that I love. But I really have to again give all the credit to this amazing author for writing all the words. Yes, there is a cliff hanger. There is one more book to go, Dangerous Games, due out later this year. It can’t get here fast enough.

Dangerous Desires picks up right from when Dangerous Beauty ends. Eva is determined to protect Naz from Dimitri, even if it means giving up everything of herself. On a boat in the ocean, Eva is abducted by Killian and he is not all who he seems. Dare I say that I really liked the dark and brooding nature of Killian? If Eva weren't so hung up on Naz, Killian would be the one I'd choose for her (or maybe Killian will get his own story someday). The unpredictability of what Killian brings to the story kept me on the edge, because he reveals so little, but has a plan. As for Naz, he brought his A game in desperation to locate Eva. What I didn't love about the first book was the constant back and forth joking and bantering between them to the degree that the story content wasn't as serious as it should've been. They still have that dynamic in this book, but it wasn't as heavy or overloaded like with the previous book so I was able to appreciate their chemistry more this time around, with the sprinkle of humor interspersed. As for where their story will go, well it's anyone's guess as to how Dimitri will be handled since he likes having the upper hand, this guy isn't going to go down easily and Naz and Eva still have a lot of obstacles in the way. As evidenced by that ending, their road to happiness won't be an easy one, but I look forward to following their journey to get there.
