While the premise of the book is to develop your leadership skills by using storytelling, I would have liked to see more of a framework that could be applied rather than the list of 26 leadership principles discussed in the book.

Here you can find life stories about leadership and people management. Interesting enough they teach you and point to right directions.. It is difficult to balance day-to-day business activities and lead your company and employees however it is vitally important for success. Very relaxing and thoughtful book.

I feel there was a missed opportunity with this book, and perhaps it's because the book was intended for a more beginner level audience. I liked the connection of the major points with the stories--however, I feel that there should have been a bit of analysis of each point, connecting specifics from the stories, rather than simply restating the points themselves

It was a really short read without a lot of theory and boring information. Only key messages and some examples. In my opinion, all the information in this book is well-known to us. However, we tend to neglect those basic key principles in our pursuit to complete as much tasks as possible from the constantly growing pile of tasks in a very limited time frame. It would be good to have this book on the table as a daily remainder, on what is important and how to be not only a manager, but also a leader.
