Christmas in July anyone? Yes, please! My expectations were high when i started Debbie Macomber’s new book “A Mrs. Miracle Christmas”. After all Mrs. Miracle is a favorite character of mine and Christmas is a favorite season so it’s a win-win. This book did not let me down. In fact, I believe it is my favorite of the Mrs. Miracle books so far. Macomber manages, again, to include realistic characters and settings so descriptive that you feel like you are there. When a book is so well-written you don’t see words but instead you see a movie and you hear the characters, you know it is a good book. In “A Mrs. Miracle Christmas,” I actually smell the Christmas tree, taste the tea and cookies, and feel the soft yarn that Mrs. Miracle and Nana are using to knit a Christmas surprise! Macomber somehow incorporates dementia, infertility and death but still infuses the story with hope and magic. And, best of all, we get a surprise appearance by Shirley, Goodness, and Mercy!!! Read it now or save it until December but definitely add this book to your library!
I voluntarily received a copy of this book from Netgalley.

Loved this book. I love the angels in Debbie Macomber;s books. This one was chattier with her charge and it was funny to see both of them walk back what they said. Mrs. Miracle said this, but later Nana and Mrs. Miracle had to cover for whatever it was. I also felt for Zach in the department store. Poor man, but it was a funny scene. This book tugged on your heart strings quite a bit. I look forward to more of these genre

A super quick, easy, cozy read. I always read before going to bed and made the mistake of starting this one. I didn't get to sleep until quite late, finished it in one fell swoop. A heart warming story about trust, love....and faith <3 Well worth the read, it won't disappoint.

Thank you Netgalley for an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I received an advanced copy of this book. I knew that it would be an uplifting, quick read, and it was a perfect book to settle in with on a rainy night after work. Mrs. Miracle returns to bless Laurel and Zach as they care of Laurel's grandmother Helen who is in the early stages of dementia. When they are in the beginnings of despair, Mrs. Miracle appears on their doorstep, and the fun begins. A happy read for the holidays, or any time of the year.

Debbie Macomber's latest book, A Mrs. Miracle Christmas is a wonderful little Christmas story. I always enjoyed reading Debbie's other Angel series books. I loved that she not only has Mrs. Miracle but also Shirley, Goodness and Mercy as guest appearances in this story.
Debbie does a fantastic job of carefully crafted characters that you will not soon forget. I fell in love with Laurel, her husband Zack, grandmother Helen and of course Mrs. Miracle. Helen has started to be forgetful and showing signs of dementia. Laurel and Zack work full time and need to find someone to stay with grandmother during the day, while they are at work. Mrs. Miracle shows up as a Home Care Angel to stay with Helen. Helen is the first to realize that Mrs. Miracle is a real heavenly angle sent from God in answer to their prayers.
I received a complementary copy from Ballantine Books through NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are my own.

I was lucky enough to get an ARC copy of this book. Over all I enjoyed it. This is a wonderful little Christmas story. It tells the story of Laurel McCullough and her husband Zach who move in with Laure's Grandmother who has trouble taking care of herself due to her developing dementia. Laurel is looking for someone to help her take care of her Grandmother and this is where Mrs. Miracle shows up to help.

I also love how she brings in Shirley, Goodness, and Mercy into the story so it ties back into her other Christmas stories. The only hard part for me was the dementia aspect of it. I recently lost my Grandmother to dementia right before last Christmas. So a this novel brought back a few recent memories for me. Don't let that stop you from enjoying the book though.

Over all if you are a fan of Debbie's other Christmas books, you are going to love this one.

I love Debbie Macomber's Christmas books. I always know it's going to be a book that leaves me feeling good. A Mrs. Miracle Christmas did just that. I like how she weaves in characters from past books. You don't need to read the other books to enjoy this one but I recommend you read them all if you haven't done so.

A Mrs. Miracle Christmas is a wonderful story about a couple, Laurel and Zach, who couldn't have children of their own. After several failed attempts to conceive they turned to adoption but only to have the child they loved taken from them.. After losing the baby Laurel lost all faith that she would become a mother but Zach still held on to his faith. When Mrs. Miracle came to be a companion for Laurel's grandmother Helen mysterious things started to happen and on Christmas Eve Laurel and Zach finally received a baby of their own. This story is a reminder that God is watching over all of us and we should never lose our faith in him.

I have yet to read a Debbie Macomber book that I did not enjoy. I love her work and how she makes you feel a part of the families she writes about. This book is no different and I am in love with Laurel, Zack, Helen and Mrs. Miracle!

Laurel came to live with her grandmother, Helen, when she was just ten years old. Not that Laurel is grown and married to Zack, they have moved in with Helen to help her in her older age. Helen has been showing signs of dementia and Helen is growing more worried about her by the day. Laurel and Zack both work full time and can't be there with Helen all the time during the day. With Laurel being a teacher, some of her duties extend past the school day and she puts in more time after school and sometimes at night.

Several instances have happened that make Laurel aware that she is going to have to get someone to stay with her grandmother while they are gone working during the day. All of the agencies that Laurel calls is booked and they don't know when they are going to have someone free to stay with Helen so it is a shock when Mrs. Miracle shows up at the door ready to help with Helen.

In the meantime Laurel and Zack have been on the road of infertility and adoption. With Zack knowing how bad Laurel wants to be a mother, he goes behind Laurel's back and does something that Laurel never thinks he would do. I don't want to give the whole story away because this one will draw you in and you will want to read it for yourself to find out how things play out for everyone involved. I love this story and I assure you, you will not be disappointed that you pick this one up to read! Great job once again by Debbie Macomber!

All opinions are my own and given voluntarily. Thanks to Netgally, the publisher and the author for an advanced copy of this story!

You can’t help but give Debbie Macomber five stars for her uplifting, sweet stories. This one is no exception. Somehow she keeps her books relevant to what is going on in the world. Her books are without cursing, sex and empty characters. Laurel is the heroine of the story. Although her grandmother, Helen gives Laurel a run for her money. Zach is Laurels husband. They want a baby in the worst way. The best compliment I can give A Mrs. Miracle Christmas is to say, I’m a better person for having read it. Thank you to NetGalley and Ballantine Books for allowing me to read an advance copy for my honest review.

Debbie Macomber at her best! I’ve read all of her other books and this one is probably my favorite. I felt many emotions and cried a few times- so much sadness, but also joy! I highly recommend this book!

A particularly touching Mrs Miracle story. Filled with both joy and sadness.
Had me crying and left me filled with happiness and a feeling of true Christmas. These stories may seem lightweight on the surface but they are not that at all. They contain warmth and a depth that can be felt while reading.
I'm a fan.

Nothing says Christmas like a Mrs. Miracle story. Heartwarming, cozy story of an elder dementia patient, her family and of course, Mrs. Miracle. You will smile, cry and celebrate the holiday with Mrs, Miracle and her sidekick angels, Shirley, Mercy and Goodness. Loved this book! A must read!
