Where Resist feels like just the warm up and intro, Reveal has everything. This book was chock full of turmoil and deception and threats around every corner. It was a nonstop struggle for Vaughn and Ryker and Lucy, so worth it all in the end. This was one of those stories that cut super close to the end where it all wrapped up. I kept looking at how far in I was and thinking, but what about this? Are you sure this is only a duet? It was tight but all was resolved. And let me tell ya, there was a lot to resolve.
I really enjoyed this story!!
This story had drama, suspense, romance and it was all packed in a book that was hard to put down.
The story flowed and the characters were well developed and I enjoyed getting to know them.
It is 5 stars from me for this one, I thought it was a thoroughly enjoyable story - very highly recommended!!
Hands down, the best romantic suspense I’ve read! I may have felt like throwing my kindle across the room at the end of Resist, and that feeling didn’t go away with this book...the angst didn’t let up, the surprises didn’t stop coming, and I fast learned to trust no one and expect the unexpected!
Betrayed and destroyed, Vaughn no longer knew who she could trust. How much can one woman take? She is one strong, feisty heroine, but even she has her limits. Ryker is ridiculously sexy, but with all the outside forces working against them, it had me doubting him over and over! Every time they started to feel comfortable and happy, BAM! Is love worth all the pain? Thank god for those steamy, sweet, and swoon worthy moments so I could catch my breath.
Corruption, power struggles, ruthlessness, lies, blackmail, intrigue and suspense...this unputdownable story consumed me.

Bromberg has done it again!! This was the best conclusion to Ryker and Vaughn's story!! You will not be disappointed!
Holy crap that was an intense ride. As with any good chess matches - every player has an idea of what the next move is going to be. However with this series I simply had no idea and the path it took me on left me breathless. Suspense, intrigue, angst, lies, deceptions, half-truths, political cover ups, and bribery and manipulations are interwoven with beautifully written characters and a storyline that had me on the edge of my seat. What I thought was going to happen didn't and what I never even dreamed of did. K. Bromberg you have created another group of characters that will be loved for a very long time.
Reveal, the follow up to Resist is a rollercoaster of a brilliant read. Following straight on from the jaw dropping ending of Resist, Ryder has a job on his hands to prove to Vaughan he didn’t mean any of the things she overheard but was in fact trying to help and protect her.
Their relationship continues but with all the obstacles in their way it leaves you wondering if it can ever survive. I don’t wish to give away any spoilers, just to say if you enjoyed the first book you’ll be blown away by this one. Absolutely riveting and a joy to read with two wonderful main characters.
My thanks to net galley and publishers Montlake for the opportunity to review this book honestly.
What a freaking REVEAL. The title lives up to it's name that is for dang sure. This author almost took me to the brink of death from the suspense. Holy crap, I was not expecting this one to be a nail biter, but boy was I wrong. Overall, this was a well rounded duet, that came together perfectly. I had so many questions at the end of Resist and this author made dang sure, every single one and some was answered. The characters had so much growth from the first part of this duet to the this last one. The way that these characters fought their own battles was inspiring. No matter the bombs thrown at them, they tried like hell to stay above the rubble. There was some amazing redeeming qualities that did not go unnoticed.
These characters are a force to be reckoned with. There was a profound amount of development throughout this whole duet, but especially Reveal. Everything flowed nicely. Overall, Reveal is a spell-bounding - compelling read, that deserves so dang much recognition, and I am praying that people see that! I can not wait to see what this author comes up with next.
What a crazy ride! Everything I was worried about for Vaughn in book one came crashing down on her. I had no idea how she was going to get out of the mess. It seemed that no matter what she did she was going to feel backlash.
Ryker was the bad guy at the end of book one. I love how the author starts out the second book with his pov of those events. We got to see into his mind and what he was thinking. I'm used to reading about hero's who dominate the enemy, so it was a bit surprising to see that Ryker had some vulnerabilities here.
I loved how this story came together. It wasn't predictable and I was left feeling satisfied with how it all came together at the end. This was such a compelling duet. I loved both main characters. They were intriguing and I wanted to see them beat the odds and make it. The added side character of Lucy brought heart to the story.
Overall, this was a pretty exciting read. It's full of drama that will have you riveted to the pages.
I enjoyed this book MUCH more than the first book in this duet. I thought the element of suspense was a nice addition, and also felt more of the connection in this book than I did the first. Great work!
