Let's Be Weird Together is cute and a little amusing, but... well, for lack of a better way to say this, it feels very shallow and basic to me. Lots of the humor is "cute", but nothing is outright funny; many panels are sweet, but none of it warmed my heart or made me feel much of anything. Sure, I was able to equate a lot of it to myself and my spouse, and that was nice, but I can't see myself recommending or purchasing a finished copy of this book in the future.

Thank you so much to the publisher for providing me with this ARC in exchange for an honest review

There were several parts of this book that I liked quite a bit, such as the parts that focused on interesting things about historical and famous couples. I also enjoyed the parts that focused on weird facts, such as some of the very strange laws that are related to love and relationships.

I also liked a lot of the examples of the “weirdness” of the couple who wrote this book. They seem like a nice, happy couple who are a perfect match for each other. It’s a nice thing to read about and see.

Speaking of “seeing,” in addition to the entertaining tone of the writing in the book, there is also a lot of fun and entertaining art to be found here.

Having said all of that, something did fall a little short for me here that kept me from giving it more than three stars. The parts of the book that I liked, I liked a lot. However, there were some things in the book that I either didn’t find funny or I just couldn’t relate to for one reason or another.

But that’s the way it is with the appreciation of things like humor, art, love, and even “weirdness” - it’s all in the eyes of the beholder, right? The parts of this book that didn’t work for me might work perfectly for you.

It’s a good book. I think that Brooke Barker and Boaz Frankel have a lot of talent. I’m curious to see other works from them in the future.

This is a sweet, cute and funny book about the weirdness of being in a relationship. Every relationship is weird in its own way and there’s nothing wrong with that. This little book includes strange stories, comics, and historical anecdotes about relationships. There’s a little bit of everything and I think it would make the perfect gift for every couple since it’s something that can be enjoyed by everyone.

I loved "Let's Be Weird Together" by Brooke Barker and Boaz Frankel. It was so cute! I started reading a few pages, somewhat jealous, as I am between relationships right now, and I just kept reading. My last relationship didn't go so well but I am hopeful about the future after reading this book. I just keep reading and reading and page after page, laughing out loud and I finished it in one sitting.

This book reminds me of all the great things finding a complement bring into your life. Yes, as the book reiterates over and over, you are weird. Your partner is also weird. Weird + Weird = Way Weirder! This is some of the fun that this book brings out. It is a great gift for someone starting a new relationship. It is a great gift to celebrate a couple's engagement or even for a wedding gift. There is so many beautiful illustrations and beautiful things that relationships bring into your life.

There are so many "relatable" ideas and thoughts that you "know" but have never thought about before. It was a delightful, funny, little book that any couple would enjoy.

I received this as an eBook from Workman Publishing Company via NetGalley in exchange for an honest and unbiased review of the title. I did not receive any compensation from either company. The opinions expressed herein are completely my own.
