I have to admit that I have conflicting feelings about this book. For one thing, I really liked the diversity of the male character. That’s not very prevalent in romance novels. The sexting was ok…not the greatest, but not the worst. Though for it to be a book about sexting, that can be a problem. I just had a harder time with the chemistry between Saam and Lorie. It wasn’t really there for me so it made the plot not as fun to follow along with. Again, the book wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t my favorite. I would still give a book by the author another go!

This book was a bit disappointing. I liked the premise, but the characters were awkward and I didn't really believe they were together.

DNF at 8% ( I received an e-arc from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review)

I usually never ever dnf a book this soon in a book, but I could tell that the male love interest was going to get on my nerves. I usually don't mind a frustrating love interest but I could tell it was going to be a possessive alpha male and the all the problematic things that come along with it. It's a shame, since I thought the female character was ok so far and seemed to be an independent woman. Though possibly the male interest would change that, which was the kind of vibe I was getting

I liked this one but did not love this one. Part of it is that I didn't connect with the characters. I didn't find the couple to have a lot of chemistry which also didn't help.

I liked but did not love this one. Part of it is that I didn't particularly connect with the hero or the heroine which does take some of the excitement out of the reading experience. I didn't find the couple to have a lot of chemistry which also didn't help. The story just never really resonated with me. But, I did finish it and it was good - not a great read but I think it would be fine if the reader connected with the couple.

It felt sometimes a little overly aggressive in the relationship, but it was mostly fine and decent characters, plot and writing. Thanks to the publisher for an ARC!

Non white hero who is socially awkward and hot? I'm in. Its not mind blowing but both characters had interesting backgrounds that made the story

I Wanna Sext You Up was my first book by this author.
The title caught my interest, obviously.
The book was great. The writing was great, easy to follow, and kept my interest.
The characters were interesting and relatable.
The chemistry was spicy!
I'll definitely be reading more by Evie Claire.

This story was written in dual first person point of view. The major conflicts are both internal and external as characters battle themselves, other characters, and society. The popular themes include capitalism, empowerment, family, fulfillment, hazards of passing judgement, and wisdom and experience.

Lori Braddock wanted her new job to go smoothly but after a few too many weird run-ins with her new clients, maybe she could reconsider whether or not she truly wanted to work with this said client. Saam Sherazi was a no nonsense type of doctor, fresh out of med school and ready to practice with one very specific type of project in mind. Though things do take an interesting turn when this outgoing pharmaceutical rep and no nonsense doctor accidentally end up with the others phone. Now how much trouble could these two adults get into.

The ideas are original in the sense they attempt to take on society roles for women back in the day. The voice is strong as each character has a unique type of communicating to one another. The flow is organized and the sentence structure helps to enhance the overall story. Yes, I would recommend this book. This is a good recommendation for those interested in light romantic reads, the inner workings of doctors and drug reps or looking for a cute fun story that involves emojis. This is not a good recommendation for those looking for relationships that do not involve tones of technology, can not translate emoji conversations or are looking for a more old fashion relationship.

The writing was good and so were the characters I’m just not a huge fan of third person point of view

This story was hot! There was great chemistry between the characters & I loved the whole idea behind the story. It was well written. I couldn't put the book down.

The plot and storyline was fun and the romance and steam was all good and wrapped up into a good read!

Lori is a drug company rep for an insulin product. She is all about her job and career so she has no time for men. Saam is a geeky, socially awkward doctor that she is meeting about the insulin drug for her company. Saam is a smart, handsome but socially awkward man with no clue how to date. The two start to let their walls down and discover they have much in common. Lori worries that a relationship between them could hurt both their careers. A good romantic read with a cute couple.

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley and am leaving a review.

This was really hard to get into. The story was so slow and Lorie and Saam lacked the sizzle I hoped for. The plot seemed so fun, but unfortunately the story was a bit lackluster.

After not loving Let's Talk About Sext, the first book in this series, I wanted to give this one a try and see if that was a one-off or not. Unfortunately, it seems like that's not the case.

I loved Saam. He's the best part of this book, just like Brody was in book one. But just as in the first book in this series, the heroine just didn't work for me. Her storyline didn't make much sense to me.

I had such a hard time getting into this book and then the ending was so abrupt that I felt like I should have given up earlier like I wanted to. Saam completely saved this book and Phebe, the heroine from book one, was so much more likable in this book than her own.

While I'm sure some will love this book, I'm thinking this is the end of the road with this author for me.

I enjoyed this book regardless of the fact that I hadn't read the first in the series. I felt the characters were real and their story was believable and their feelings rang true. Can't wait to see more from this author.

Lorie is a pharmaceutical drug rep and she is working at wanting to be the best. She also promoting a new drug to help with childhood diabetes, since she has a friend who has had it her whole life. Wanting to get an in she makes her way for a new doctor, a Sherazi. After a few lattes and strange meetings at the coffee shop which does not work, it is finally when they both end up at the same camp for children for diabetes. It is there that their relationship finally takes off and the shy doctor realizes that the former beauty queen is attracted to him. Besides wanting to sell this medication that she believes in. A good story with a good supporting cast of her team and boss, a very good book.

Lorie is a people pleaser through and through. With her new job in pharmaceutical sales and assigned to Dr. Saam. Saam is clueless about most human relations, and focus on his medical practice. Lorie and Saam click and are drawn to one another. A doctor and a drug rep are a cliche waiting to happen. I liked that they were opposites but still made it work.

This is my first read by this author and I will say I see a lot of potential. The story was interesting and the characters enjoyable but I needed it a little deeper. At some point I put it down and forgot to pick it back up again.

Saam was my favorite part of the book. I do think if Lorie would have been more...I don't even know but just more, I'd have enjoyed it more.

This is the second book in the series, but I read it as a standalone with no problem. This title is the silliest, and doesn't really indicate much at all about the book, which is really cute (+kind of hot?)! I really wanted to love this book but I found myself struggling to finish.
