Magnus and Passi are great together. I enjoy their back and forth. I felt terrible for Passi for her loss and her terrible ex husband .
it started well, but personally, I had some issues with some of the sexual scenes and I just could not force myself to read further. A shame because it had potential, but it was not for me.
Great read, the story of Passi and Magnus. After an encounter at the thermal baths Passi can't stop thinking about Magnus, and is then shocked to find out that he is the employee where she works. Passi accidently sends him an email, about him, instead of to her best friend, Now he knows what she has been thinking about him, how can she face him again?
The attraction is mutual, but once she finds out he is a single father, can she deal with it, given her past?
Looking forward to the rest of the series.
I really enjoyed this book. I like that it is a start to a series. I love when I get to see characters I fell in love with again even in small amounts. I enjoyed the authors writing style. It was an easy and interesting read. I loved how the 2 main characters met. It was a very unusual way and I liked it. The chemistry between Passi and Magnus was undeniable. It was never forced which I liked. I also like when one person has to overcome something. I felt like by the end of the book I was beside Passi watching her grow and evolve. There was definitely a sadness that loomed when reading this which I am not used to when reading romance but I think it made the story seem that much more real. I would highly recommend this book if you like a good sexy romance!
This book presents an interesting love story that begins with lust at first sight and is followed by massive amounts of resistance related to personal baggage. The story was not like anything I had read before and that was very refreshing. The steamy scenes only increased my enjoyment of the book.
This book was honestly hard for me to get into at first. I found myself putting it down multiple times and coming back to it later. I think the reason for that way how awkward the interactions were between Magnus and Passi during the first quarter of the story. As the story continued, the characters seemed to become flushed out more and I began to really connect with them and long for Passi to push past her hang ups and just be with Magnus already.
I would recommend this book to lovers of contemporary romance and those that do not mind a great steamy love scene.
This one I skim-read so much that it really doesn't count as finishing it. I could not connect with the characters and I admit I got super annoyed with the male protagonist. I thought he behaved impatiently in moments where that was really not warranted given that the female protagonist is (for a very good reason) traumatized (her kid died in an accident). I was also not super into these elaborate sex fantasies these two people had about each other instead of, you know, just doing it. However, this isn't a bad book - but for a totally different reader (that the book's blurb called it heartwarming should have given me a clue from the beginning that this wouldn't be for me).
