It was so hallmark-y one could get. And it was very sweet and nice.
But i think i kind of prefer this on movie. Because you get all sweet and happy, but i really like how they are movie wise.
Wrapped Up In Christmas is such a cozy Christmas read!! This story got me into the Christmas spirit even tho it’s still a ways away!!
I loved the characters and their relationship come together.
The narrator did a great job and I’ll def be looking into other books she has narrated.
Who doesn’t like a Hallmark read or movie??
I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the soldier aspect and how it fit into the story.
I highly recommend this book
Thank you Hallmark and netgalley for allowing me to read this title for an honest review.
Very sweet and enjoyable story about hope and starting over at Christmas.. I would like to see this on the screen. Only negative I have is that I feel like the story ran a little long. I feel like it could have been simplified some..
A great Christmas read!! I fell in love with the butterflies!! We all need a group of friend like this!! Cannot wait until the next!!
This is exactly the Christmas romance that I needed on a dreary Sunday afternoon. It gave me all the warm and fuzzy feelings. I want this to become a Christmas hallmark movie. I loved the concept of this book.
Bodie came to pine hill to thank what he thought was an elderly lady for a quilt he received. It turns out that Sarah is not elderly at all! How cute!!
I loved reading about bodie and Sarah’s romance grow! Please make this into a movie!!!
If you're in the mood for a fun holiday romance in the small town of Pine Hill, this one from Hallmark Publishing is perfect.
A soldier visits Pine Hill to thank a Sarah Smith for the quilt she made for him via the Quilts of Valor program. However, he soon finds himself working as Sarah's handyman at her bed and breakfast, after a little mix-up. With a whole lot of Christmas cheer added in, it's a fun ride to follow the story of these two characters as they tango with each other, pretending they're not actually falling for each other.
"Bodie didn’t have a lot of Christmas spirit, but she suspected that came from lack of exposure."
"Tough soldiers didn’t twinkle."
This is a perfect book for the holiday season, packed with Christmas love and cheer. I truly enjoyed reading this book because it upped my mood and spirits and helped me remember the reason and magic of the holiday season. I would highly recommend adding this book to your holiday reading list; it is like reading a Hallmark movie!
A delightful story with a lovely theme throughout of giving back to those that have given their service to their country nicely tied into the main character's love of Christmas.
A slow burning romance with a heartwarming ending.
Small town is my favorite, and this one did not disappoint in character and charm! I got all wrapped up in the story of Bodie's military career... and HARRY! Ohmygosh. I love Harry! I love how Bodie and Sarah were brought together, and found each other. I love a sweet military romance.
Would make a great Hallmark movie – Loved it!
Although this is set at Christmastime, it could have been set during any time of the year. Sarah, a sweet but independent preacher’s daughter, healing from a loss, follows in her aunt’s footsteps and creates a quilt for Quilts of Valor. The quilt makes its way to Bodie, along with a note describing life in tiny Pine Hill and thanking him for his service. Bodie, a loner with integrity, a strong sense of responsibility and respect for others, makes his way to Pine Hill to thank the little old lady who made him the quilt and note which together essentially became a lifeline for him to hold on to as he healed in the hospital.
Finding she’s a beautiful young woman in dire need of a handyman, he keeps quiet and decides he will thank her by doing all the work she needs while fighting his growing attraction to her. Sarah had one serious relationship that ended badly when he didn’t want to stay but she did. She knows Bodie is leaving and fights her attraction to him as well, but the Butterflies are working their matchmaking wonders on the pair and it’s a losing battle.
This is the first book I’ve read by Janice Lynn, and it was so well written I didn’t even care that it was a clean romance. Once I started this story, I couldn’t wait to pick it up again, I was hooked.
Not for me. Sadly, romance lovers will enjoy Wrapped Up in Christmas by Janice Lynn though. I did not finish and can't say as to content.
I really enjoyed this book. It's starting to get hot now, so I wanted something to help cool me down and feel the Christmas/Winter spirit and this book did not disappoint. I also really enjoyed Bodie as a character, but of course, Harry was the best!
Perfect book for when you need something uplifting. This book is filled with hope, love and Christmas cheer. A super delightful read and I enjoyed both Sara and Bodie. It was beautiful to watch as Sara continued to heal Brodie from his emotional wounds. I loved the small town community.
Wrapped up in Christmas was an enjoyable, heart-warming novel! You cannot help, but fall in love with the town of Pine Hill, KY and the people in it. It is that classic Hallmark Christmas movie feel and you just want more and more!
This was a sweet romance that I enjoyed and needed to get my mind off the issues going on right now. This is the story of Sarah Smith, a young woman living in a small town in Kentucky. She is trying to turn her Aunt's house into a Bed & Breakfast. She has gone through several different handymen as they don't seem to take the care she wants in their work. Bodie Lewis is a veteran who has been released from the hospital after surviving an IED blast that kills the rest of his platoon. He was ready to give up on life, until the day that he received a Quilt of Valor. It gives him a reason to live and he wants to thank the woman who made it for him. When he arrives in Pine Hill, Kentucky, it is assumed that he is looking for Sarah to apply for the position of handyman. He decides that he can pay her back by helping her fulfill her dream and works on her home. As they work together, they begin to develop feelings for one another. What Bodie has been through causes a lot of baggage, and heartbreak in Sarah's life has her a bit mistrustful as well. Can they get beyond these feelings and realize that they can make each other happy?
I really enjoyed this story. I loved both Sarah's and Bodie's characters. They were fighting their feelings along the way, but they were too strong. It took awhile to realize how they both felt, but when one character keeps secrets from another, you know there is going to be a blow up eventually. Bodie is normally so honest, he is hardworking, loyal and caring, but once he pretends to be the handyman, he doesn't know how to tell the truth. Sarah is loved by everyone in town. She is always looking out for others and enjoys making them happy and doing unto others. The Butterflies were a delightful group. I enjoyed their different personalities and how they looked after Sarah and pushed her toward Bodie. This was a heartwarming story, that can be read anytime, even though it is set at Christmas. If you enjoy Hallmark movies, then you will love this story. I definitely recommend this one.
I love reading Christmas stories, now matter where in the calendar I am. Life is about loss, recovery and new hope. Great Hallmark book that needs to be made into a movie. Wish I could quilt so that I could complete the pattern provided at the end of the book.
Thank you to Hallmark and NetGalley for the chance to read and review.
I adore this book! It was very uplifting and filled with hope. I loved the town, the characters, and the quilt.
Many thanks to Hallmark Publishing and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

Fans of Hallmark Movies will love this book. The characters drew me in quickly and loved watching the sweet love between them grow. The setting of Pine Hill, Kentucky was quaint and loved the quirky endearing inhabitants.
