Loved the first book, loved the movie.... really enjoyed reading this and cannot wait for the full version.

A fantastic sample of a truly beloved character. I cannot wait for the full version of this book, as the sample was an instant hook!

Many readers may remember Cecilia Ahern's first book, P.S. I Love You. It was quite popular. Ahern wrote this novel when she was only 22 years old which amazes me. This debut told the story of a young widow and what happened to her as she read and acted on the letters left to her by her husband.
NetGalley has recently offered a preview of Postscript, a novel which features the protagonist of this first novel. In the sequel, readers will find out what has happened to Holly in the intervening years. She also takes on a project that forms the basis of Postscript.
I can't truly review this book because I have not seen the full novel. However, fans of the author may want to keep an eye out for this one. It is coming in February 2020, the month of love and Valentines.

After reading this taster I'm so excited for the book to be released! I adore Cecila Aherns writing and am beyond excited for this!

Can’t wait for more, a great taster of what promises to be an amazing sequel! Waited a long time for this one, so this was a welcome introduction into what is to come.

Also frustrated re-downloading, but absolutely loved the taster pages and can’t wait to read the whole book!

I'm forced to give this a star rating even though I have issues. I gave this five stars because I know I will love it. I'm frustrated that it is not downloading.

I didn't think P.S. I Love You needed a sequel until I read Postscript. With only an excerpt, Ahem has managed to completely pull me into Holly's world once again! I'm eager to see how Holly balances her old life with the one she's living now. I'm also interested to see more of the dynamic between her and her new beau. I absolutely cannot wait to read the full book!

This morning I downloaded the Postscript sample and quickly read it in its entirety. In just over thirty pages, I am completely hooked and can’t wait to read the book in its entirety!

Thanks for the opportunity! I'd really love to read the complete book- she's a fantastic writer! I'll be looking to read this soon!

Thirty-five pages was not enough! This sampler made me even more excited to read the whole sequel to P.S. I Love You,

Though this was just a sampler I received of Postscript, it was amazing. Cecelia Ahern always manages to send a beautiful message in every book of hers. I have read almost all the books she has written and it goes without a saying that this one is also going to touch many hearts. The story revolves around Holly, 7 years post her husband's death where she has started to help strangers with terminal illnesses. Eagerly waiting for the release of this book.
Thank you NetGalley, HarperCollins Publishers and Cecelia Ahern for this e-sampler.

I received a 30-page sample of Postscript in exchange for an honest review. Thanks to Netgalley and HarperCollins.
This is the long-awaited sequel to PS I love you, starting off 6 years later from where the last book left us. The prologue insinuates that the main character, Holly, is in fact not yet over the death of her husband. The first chapter then jumps back three months to Holly giving a podcast interview, summarizing pretty much everything from the first book. This would make it possible to read this book without having read ‚PS, I love you‘.
The overall premise of this book seems to be that a group of dying people seek out Holly’s help in creating a similar goodbye in the form of letters as Holly’s husband had set up for her. However, I only got this information from the synopsis on GoodReads, not from the actual sampler.
Overall, the writing felt a little bit more forced and didn’t flow as freely as in the last book, making it seem like this whole sequel might have been a little forced. I don’t think I will be reading this full book as I don’t want to go reading an entire second book about Holly’s grief. However, it is an enticing premise and I am sure it will make for an entertaining and probably emotional read. I would be happy to watch a potential future movie adaptation of this book.

Reading the first 30ish pages of this book left me wanting more. I had read P.S. I Love You years ago and the beginning of this book kind of summarizes this enough that you don't have to go back and re-read it if you don't want to (although I'd recommend it because it was a great book). This story picks up seven years later, and Holly has moved on and is dating a man named Gabriel. We don't learn a lot about their relationship at the beginning of this book, although that's likely still to come. Rather we learn that she finally speaks about Gerry's death to others and then receives a card about the P.S. I Love You club. She's angry, but then finds out the person who gave her the card just died of cancer. What happens next is unknown as that's where the preview ends!

After reading the sample, I’m intrigued to read the final product. I hope it’s as good as the first book!

I was fortunate to be sent a sample of the first few chapters of the upcoming Ceceila Ahern book Postscript, the sequel to P.S. I Love You. I was only 18 when I read P.S. I Love You and now I'm 32 and married, so I found I could relate a lot more. I love all of Ceceila Ahern's work and can't wait to read the rest of the story! x
Thanks to #netgalley for the opportunity to read this sample.

This was only a short sample of the book but oh my Gucci, it was incredible. I've been dying for a follow up to PS I Love You so when I saw this book was coming, I literally squealed in excitement. I cannot wait to read this and add the book to my collection of loved Cecelia Ahern books!

Even though this is a sampler, I am very excited to read the full book when it's released. I am a big fan of PS I Love You, the prequel to this book, and cannot wait to read this next chapter of Holly's life.

OK, I am seriously crushed and disappointed (but in an oddly good way?). I did not realize that I was requesting to read a SAMPLE of Cecilia's newest book, the sequel to PS, I Love You! Of COURSE I still read it, and, just as I thought would happen, I was sad when I reached the last page of the downloaded sample and did not have any more to read. I was completely hooked right from page one and it just got better and better. I can't wait to get my hands on the complete novel and devour every page!

My fault. I didn’t see this was only an excerpt, not a full book. So.... it seems ok but cannot really tell.
