Was really looking forward to this one after reading the blurb but unfortunately the book didn't all load correctly.

Cute activity for kids at Christmas! You can do an activity with them each day and get them amped up for Christmas!

I guarantee you, I would have just loved <i>My Merry Christmas Journal</i> by Diana Zourelias when I was a kid. It's pretty typical for what you might find in a Christmas activity book for kids, of course, but that doesn't take away from how much fun I'm sure a bunch of children are going to have with it. From making words out of larger words, creating exceptionally long lists about Christmas funs and not-funs, to puzzles and games this journal does have quite a lot going for it.

Would I say that it was exceptionally unique? Probably not. After all, they definitely had activity books like this when I was a child and I have fond memories of working through them and filling them out. But I feel like there will always be a want and a call for books like this to be out there in the world. I hope the children who happen upon this one enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the ones I got a chance to play around with when I was six years old.
